Mercure Le President Biarritz Centre - Biarritz

The hotel and the room was nicely decorated. Enjoyed the fancy touch, but didn´t fall asleep before late because of a lot of noise from the street. Stayed over from a Monday til a Tuesday.

Good location. Night staff very helpful....day staff ignored us. Despite advertising air conditioning there wasn't any. No sense in taking a shower since you were soaked in sweat by the time you got dressed. Very disappointed and would not recommed this hotel with very small rooms and no A/C.

Really loved this hotel; the decor was bright and modern. The room was a good size and the location was very central. Loved the dual shower but if I was to give any complaint it would be that the water was cold the morning we were leaving... which was a real shame as it’s a great shower (and we did have hot water the evening before). The room has blackout […] blinds and seems to be soundproof so you’re sure of a good night’s sleep. I would recommend this hotel. Lisateave

This hotel was great. The location was perfect, everything was in very short walking distance,and even nearer than you would think. We had a room at the back and didn't hear a noise inside or outside the hotel the whole stay. Beds were extremely comfortable. Air con was good and not overpowering if you forgot to turn it off at night. The rooms were […] adequately sized. My only criticism is that there were only plastic disposable glasses on the room tray and in the bathroom - it cheapened the room a little bit. The majority of the staff were really lovely and accommodating. Breakfasts were well run, the staff were very efficient, and constantly topping up food as it was running out (except on Sunday when the baguettes were not replaced, but there was a constant stream of warm from the oven rolls etc.). There is no bar in the hotel but the Nicholas wine shop a few doors down the street or the basement supermarket of the Galeries Layfayette across the road will accommodate all tastes who want to stray beyond the confines of the minibar! Would highly recommend this hotel. P.S. Watch out for the airport taxi drivers, on arrival ours had his meter covered over and charged a flat rate of €20, the taxi guy on the way back said it should have been no more than €15 to the hotel had the meter been running... Great hotel, in a very central location, modern rooms with a fantastic shower, breakfast was also excellent

Lo mejor lo céntrico que está y lo amplias y bonitas que son las habitaciones. Lo malo es que las cortinas que se supone que quitan la luz no están bien colocadas (pasa en la mayoría de los hoteles) y se vé claridad y luz toda la noche. A mí me molesta muchísimo, pero hay gente que no le importa en absoluto asiq ue esto es negativo a medias. La gente […] de recepción tampoco son muy amables que digamos, eso podrían mejorar. Beaucoup de bruit , le soir à côté de l'hotel ,café bruyant et le matin les machines qui viennent nettoyer longuement la place a partir de 6h un samedi .....

Excellente tenue de l'hôtel, aménagement général très agréable. Emplacement idéal pour profiter de la ville à pied (magasins, restaurants, plage). Petit déjeuner excellent. Chambre très confortable et aménagée avec goût.

Personnel très accueillant. Buffet petit déjeuner pour tous les goûts. Service rapide et souriant. Hôtel bien placé à proximité de la plage et sur la place centrale avec animation le soir et grand choix de restaurants et cafés. Nous étions ravis de notre séjour.

Hotellet är väldigt fräscht och har en av de bästa lägen i Biarritz. Bra med trådlöst internet även i rummen kostnadsfritt. Rum med havsutsikt är värt det extra kostnaden.

Confort et accueil dans le standard des hôtels Mercure. La décoration années 70 est très agréable. La vue sur la mer est un must.
