Business travel obviously requires things not generally needed. The room and bed were wonderfully comfortable but my kingdom for an office chair that fits the work table. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel is on a main road and close to just about anything you need (stores, food, etc). The staff was friendly and the free breakfast wasn't that bad either. This motel has too many smokers using it. We got a non-smoking room but it stilled smelled of smoke from the adjacent rooms. We asked for a different room right away and were given one at the opposite end of the motel which was definitely better. The staff was prompt and courteous. No elevator for second floor was a problem for us, just had knee surgery and climbing stairs was difficult with luggage. Pool area had way too much chlorine, burned your eyes just to open the door. We stayed on second floor and boy it stink soo bad of smoke. We will never stay there again.. We were disappointed that they allowed smoking in some rooms even thought we had non-smoking room. My first time booking here on line! Everything workied out great and all my paper work was waiting on the desk when I arrived. Good place to stay when picking up supplies. The issues I had were that it took 5-10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk because they were on a break, there were children running up and down the halls slamming doors at 3 am., and they also double charged me for the room - once from hotel.com and once from Americinn itself. The hotel was hard to find at first as there I really no sign in the hotel that is visible from the road. The front desk attendant when we checked in was not helpful however every other staff member was awesome! They were very friendly, helpful and efficient! The hotel was about a $14 cab ride from down town and all the action which was great. The hotel […] is close to shopping and food! The pool and dap tub were a bonus and they were open late. The breakfast was also good with boiled eggs, toast, waffles and cereal just to name a few things! Overall we were very happy with this hotel and above all the staff was awesome!
