Hotel was in an Excellent location. Really enjoyed all the amenities in the room and the hotel itself. Fantastic complimentary breakfast buffet! Staff very friendly and helpful! Excellent value. Have stayed there once before and I will continue to use this when leaving out of Denver airport. The only problem is the size and comfort of their pillows. All else very nice!

It was alright but the hot breakfast was terrible - very unappetizing and the coffee was bad tasting too and the juice was watery. The general decor of the hotel is old looking, badly need a more modern freshen-up.

Very good location for city & airport, helpful friendly staff, good pool & jacuzzi and very nice breakfast. Highly recommend.

The hotel was great but really, a Country Inn has never let me down so pretty much as I expected. The only thing that kind of bothered me was the desk clerk typed in my credit card number and secruity code into the hotel computer. I realize they need a card for incidentals but usually a hotel swipes my card, not types in the numbers. I guess now my […] credit card number and security code is there for all to see. Lisateave

Highly recommend this hotel. My family of 5 stayed in a 2 queen bed suite and there was plenty of room (we had the handicap accessible room though we didn't request it#. Turned out that we needed it after all. My son #age 18# broke his ankle and we had to leave him at the room while we finished skiing #sorry, kid#. Due to the circumstances the staff […] allowed us to extend our stay at the discounted internet price. The complimentary breakfast is the best I've seen. We took advantage of the hot tub #nice#, pool and fitness room #both small but nice#. They have a library section in the lobby that you can borrow books #all books were new). Kids enjoyed watching their stuff on one tv while I caught the last of the Super Bowl on the other. Lisateave

This hotel is located 10 -15 minutes from the airport, and within short walking distance there are numerous places to eat. The hotel is very clean and I highly recommend staying here.

My fiance and I had never been to Colorado before and drove 32 hours straight from Long Island, NY to stay 4 days in the Country Inn & suites. We weren't familiar with the area, but the "Gateway Park" area (which includes this hotel with MANY others and some wonderful food joints) was a very convenient area to stay and wasn't too far from the city. […] One of the best things about this place was we were able to check in an hour early rather than have to sleep in the car and wait. The hotel was great for the price, but of course you get what you pay for. I only have a few complaints: the mattress was springy and made for an uncomfortable night of sleep, the bathroom had hairs in the tub and no water pressure (like almost every other hotel) and the windows were plain replacement windows that had a few air leaks, but all in all it was a decent experience. If you're looking for a high end hotel try one of the others in the area, this one is better suited for small families, curious couples and business travellers looking for a clean place to stay the night. If you came to enjoy the beautiful state of Colorado by day and can't afford a fancy hotel then this is the place for you. Just bring your own pillow unless you like very small pillows. Lisateave

My husband and I would like to say we are impressed, Our room,the bed/bedding , and the hotel were clean and comfortable. The employees were friendly and helpful w/local information.Also, GREAT breakfast and Mon-Thurs they have afternoon snacks/drinks too!!! Thank You for a great stay :)

We stay at this hotel often when we are in Denver for the weekend. The prices is great and the service is great. We were a little disappointed in this room. Last time we stayed we had a room with a large shower only bathroom. This time we had a tub shower combo that seemed a bit small. The stay was great, staff was great, room was nice and large. However their free "breakfast" was not even good to look at. I pulled out a gross piece of sausage and a pre-made egg looking thing and almost lost it. Luckily we know the area and went to a local Denny's.

The hotel was clean, and had a "cozy" feel. The room was spacious, and so quiet. The breakfast was much more satisfying than I had expected - plenty of hot and cold choices.

Best thing was the very comfortable bed. Room ok, could do with an update. Reception need better communication with shuttle service. We ended up using a taxi, taxi arrived as the guy driving the bus told us that he could have taken us to the airport!

Average all around. Sound proofing between rooms could be better. FOX "News" was playing in the breakfast room. Something apolitical would have gone better with food.

First impression: Stained, worn upholstered chair. Pillows smelled. The staff was attentive and concerned and immediately switched out the chair and replaced the pillows, but they still smelled. I think their pillows don't wash well. The hot breakfast was varied and decent. But my first impressions stuck and I'll go somewhere else next time.

I have stayed at this hotel twice during Denver layovers. Both times the shuttle service from the airport was very poor. The service is slow, with the shuttles from other nearby airports coming by repeatedly before the Country Inn shuttle shows up. I won't stay here again. Waiting an hour for a 10 mile drive is too much.

The hotel is about 10 miles from the airport. Shuttle was slow so there were unexpected delays. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be closer hotels. Probably would have not used Denver for the layover if we had known about the inconvenience of the location and shuttle.
