The Campanile is a modern, generic hotel. It was very convenient for us as a base to visit relatives. Because of this I can't comment on the food. Neither my son's room or ours had working hair dryers...their air intakes were blocked with fluff and had probably overheated. The TV didn't work in our room, initially, but I eventually realised that the […] aerial lead had been pulled out and had dropped behind the table. There were no operating instructions so it was a matter of experimentation :) The water was INCREDIBLY hot so be careful not to scald. This was the same 2yrs ago, on my last visit. There was no toilet brush. Pillow cases were missing. Oh yes....why the measly coffee and tea facilities? A TINY biscuit, enough coffee or tea for just ONE cup. Same goes for sugar. Why the modern management youngsters think that this irritating saving will help the bottom line...LONG TERM? Don't they have enough experience of life to realise that such a mean, scrimping attitude might save them pennies, in the short term, but reduce their longer term profitability? These people need to wake up and smell the coffee....they don't understand people or hence, their business. All in all though, good location, good staff, decent accomadation at a reasonable price with security. Good, comfortable beds with duvets....not my favourite; but practical and acceptable under hotel circumstances. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful and the booking system was seamless. I didn't use the WI-FI hotspot but the reception was poor on my last visit two years ago. This time I asked for a room nearer the hotel so that this might be improved :). Finally, it's easy to pick fault with anything but I would definitely recommend the hotel at it's price point...modern, comfortable and clean...and does the job. For me, even the very best hotel in the world wouldn't prise me out of my own, messy home!! :) Lisateave

Old worn out motel style place. The room was old and it showed. There was permanent dirt on the walls and in the bathroom, the bed was horrible, no internet access and loud, loud, loud. We were doubly unfortunate to stay there with a teenage rugby team from the UK, who thought it was their own playground and door slamming was practice for the next days […] game. Spend an extra few Euros and stay somewhere civilized. Lisateave

Hotel was good value choice in the area of the Alexandrium Shopping Centre. Rooms were clean with free wifi connection. Breakfast was at extra cost but a good choice was offered.

Positive: decent though basic restaurant on the premises, good location near major highways, water cooker in my room, hard bed, friendly staff, freshly squeezed oranhe juice for breakfast. Negative: low end hotel chain with fairly small, somewhat run down rooms. Traffic noise, even at the back of the hotel. Anemic breakfast. No elevator. Had to drag […] my luggage up two flights of stairs on the outside of the building. AC outlet near the desk at 7' off the floor. Lisateave

the Campanile is what a hotel should be and the staff were welcoming, very helpfull and spoke exceptional english.the catering was good honest food whith top service. the hotel was very clean and well presented. we will stop here again when next in rotterdam

Goed hotel met gratis parkeren. Kamers niet al te groot maar wel netjes. Badkamer net erg modern. Metro is op loopafstand van het hotel. Binnen een 15 minuten in het centrum van R'dam

Det fanns inga handdukar på rummet, de låg i tvätten. Jag var visserligen tidig, men det borde väl finnas tillräckligt. Det fanns hårstrån från andra inne i badrummet. Trångt om utrymmet och lite halvsjaskigt. Funkade för en natt men inget jag kan rekommendera.

Hotel bien situe parking gratuit, centre commercial a 500 metres metro a 10 min enfin tres bien pour un week end

Fint hotel, rent og pænt. Dejlig seng. En GOD gåtur fra Rotterdam centrum:) Men dejligt og roligt kvarter. Vi prøvede ikke hotellets restaurant. Alt i alt et lækkert hotel til prisen.

Hotel liegt sehr gut. Nahe der Metro und Hauptbahnhof. Zum Zentrum sind es ca. 4 km. Leider ein bisschen viel Strassenlärm. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im nahegelegen Einkaufszentrum Alexanderplaat.

L'hôtel n'est pas très bien indiqué (peu de panneaux qui indiquent sa direction) alors suivez bien votre carte! Il est à deux grandes rues d'une station de métro et d'un grand centre commercial. Un petit café restaurant très sympathiques se trouvent également deux rues plus loin. Ils ne parlent pas très bien français mais super bien anglais ! Le service […] est parfait, les chambres toujours propres et les gens d'acceuil très sympas. Si vous avez besoin d'une consigne pour vos valises ils n'en n'ont pas à proprement parler mais vous les garderons dans une pièce fermé à clé néanmoins. L'hotel est plutot calme et retiré du centre ville. C'est assez bien pour se reposer d'une longue journée touristique ou de shopping. Si vous venez en train descendez gare centrale puis metro jusqu'à Beurs avant de changer direction Alexander. De là il ne vous reste que deux grandes rues à parcourrir pour rejoindre votre hotel. Les chambres ont plusieurs prises de courants, une tv, etc Néanmoins il n'y a pas d'ascenseur donc si jamais préciser une chambre au rez de chaussée lors de votre réservation! J'y ai séjournée trois nuits et je conseille cet hôtel. De plus il dipose d'un restaurant également et d'un parking derrière l'hôtel ! Bon voyage :) Lisateave

prima hotel, niks mis mee! met de taxi een kwartiertje onderweg naar rotterdam.

Een net hotel, vriendelijk personeel, heel goed als je 'zaken' in de stad komt doen en enkel komt slapen en douchen: kleine kamer met tv en waterkoker. Ook een rolluik voor het raam om eventueel geluisoverlast buiten te sluiten. Goed bed (boxspring)! Eigen parking.

Chambre propre et bien équipée - literie confortable - idéal pour une étape ou pour une ou deux nuits Mais manque d'air dans la chambre - pas de réelle possibilité d'aérer, ce qui est assez inconfortable par forte chaleur.

Vi tok drosje fra Rotterdam Centralbane stasjon til hotellet. Deretter ordnet vi oss kort på metroen, som var en vedlig enkel måte å komme seg rundt på. Hotellet ligger i et industriområde, ( bilforretninger ol.), men virket som et helt greit område. Pent og ordentlig rundt hotellet, Noe trafikk på hovedveien, vi ba om rom på motsatt side etter annbefaling […] av tidligere gjest, det var lurt. Hyggelig og serviceminded personale, så om vi skal sette fingeren på noe må det være at vi savnet aircondition og et lite kjøleskap på rommet. Ellers billig og helt grei standard. Lisateave
