Very expensive for little comfort and amenity. The room we stayed in was set up for multiple occupancy. Single power outlet to run three portable cooking appliances!

Staff were helpful and friendly and responded quickly to requests but hotel needs polishing up. A good steam clean of walkways, external walls, new laminex in kitchens, etc. Once the initial reaction was over, the stay was comfortable. Bathroom clean, lots of hot water, good pressure in shower. OK this apartment building, like a few others is sat right on the Freeway, so you get the traffic noise. However, we slept at night as the doors to the balcony cut the noise down to a hum. The furnishings and decor are tired and worn, the carpet needed shampooing and the kitchen is small BUT it had a fridge/freezer, microwave, efficient electric frying […] pan and a small electric plate. It IS a stones throw from CBD and so provided good value considering the price we paid. We suspect that rates will vary with occupancy and demand for accommodation so worth negotiating. For a few nights visiting Perth it is worth considering Lisateave

This hotel was definately not as I thought it would be.. The photos make it look better than it actually is.. I was only staying 1 nite before I flew out on a holiday n then was going to stay 2 nites when I got back but cancelled those straight away once I stayed.. It didn't even provide u with toilet paper which I thought would be an absolute essential […] at any sort of accomodation.. And for the price I could of payed an extra $10 and stayed at a lovely hotel.. Lisateave

although Mountway's position makes it very close to the CBD the convenience is outweighed by traffic noise and the poor standard of the rooms. This place is badly in need of a renovation to bring it up to a reasonable standard. Staff person at check-in was competent but disinterested to say the least. Not recommended.

THIS IS AN OLDER BLOCK OF APARTMENTS ADJACENT TO MITCHELL FREEWAY. HOWEVER WE DIDNT FIND NOISE FROM THE FREEWAY A PROBLEM. THE LOCATION PROXIMATE TO THE CBD AND KINGS PARK IS EXCELLENT A WALK ACROSS A PEDESTRAIN BRIDGE TO ST GEORGES TERRACE. WE WERE THERE IN A HEAT WAVE AND THE AC COPED WELL. THE APARTMENT IS QUITE BASIC BUT ADEQUATE WITH A KITCHENETTE. […] PARKING IS PROBLEMATIC AS THERE ARENT AS MANY SPOTS AS APARTMENTS ALTHOUGH WE MANAGED A SPOT EACH DAY IN THE COMPLEX OTHERWISE U HAVE TO PARK IN THE STREET WHICH IS SUBJECT TO RESTRICTIONS. OVERALL WE THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY BUT IF U WANT SOMETHING LUXURIOUS THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. WIFI IS AVAILABLE AT A COST Lisateave

It's cheap and central but noisy (which is fair enough due to location) but rusty shower rails, peeling paint etc it's really, really in need of a refresh- nice people but there's no excuse for being this run down- they only get away with it because it's Perth and there's so little competition in this price range.
