Meadowbrook Motor Lodge - Jericho

I enjoyed my stay at the Lodge. Perfect location for show @ Westbury Music Fair. I was traveling alone and felt very safe.Rodriguez@ the office was kind at check-in and my room was clean .Enjoyed the 27"flat screen TV and it was very quiet.There was a bank of trees adjacent to my room where I could see an old cemetery. I took a short walk up the road […] the next morning to find a Quaker House 1788 and explored the old cemetery.Across the street was another Historic Home worth walking over to see.The lovely woman at the office was helpful(sorry I forgot your name) and met the sweet Doberman ,Boss. The room was clean & the staff was very friendly & helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was in the area.

It is a motel, but the room was clean the bed was huge. The staff talked to us from behind glass, I felt like I was at the bank. The down side was the shower was very small, and not much sound proofing, could hear other guests coming and going as we were near the door. The room was clean, but the stairwell had a bad odor or mold/rot. It is a great location and the price is right.

Bare basics with this hotel. The staff where very good, room was cleaned everyday and when I reported a sink problem to the office, it was fixed the same morning.

The young lady @ the front desk was very pleasant n helpful the night I checked in.

A friend recommended this hotel to me.  It was my daughters' first trip to the United States and we wanted to stay at a quiet and clean place.  I originally booked for 1 night but eventually stayed for 2 weeks over the Christmas Holiday.  Our stay was quiet and pleasant.  Our room had free wifi, flat screen TV, and a microfridge.  The trip into the […] city takes about 45 minutes and the local mall shopping was very good.  I would recommend this place for those looking for a great value without all the fancy amenities and fancy price. This is my second stay at the Meadowbrook Motor Lodge, as I have family nearby. I always prefer a quiet, clean, and safe place but most importantly nothing over the top in terms of prices. The rooms are clean, service is awesome, and in a great neighborhood / location. I will definitely continue to book here whenever I am in town.

I was told it was newly renovated. It didn't seem to be and the bed was very uncomfortable. We stayed overnight because of a family wedding nearby, I wouldn't stay more than one night.

First, they didn't have a room for me when I arrived. The place is kind of dumpy. The room was very cold when I walked in. The bedspread had holes in it. I guess you get what you pay for...

While the rooms were nice they are not even close to what is in the advertisement pictures. I thought of the what they advertise, what you get commercials. However the staff was exceptionally pleasant and you can see efforts to make this a classier moter lodge.

Room smelled like death. It was very nasty and not comfortable at all. You felt like you were going to be mugged at any time.

A good value and good location

its a hotel for few hours but not for you to spend the entire night

The hotel was a clean place, but I think it is more of a transient hotel for truckers and other activity.

Room had some smell but it seems they need to air room more often. Property is very well maintained and clean. Staff very courteous. Room was tidy .Standing shower in bathroom, but was very clean.

The non-smoking rooms are newer at least but the smoking room are gross. The staff is really nice and it is super cheap for the area-even the cleaning staff they try but it was a rough time. Am I just picky? Put it this way I trekked thru India, Nepal and Tibet with a backpack and slept in caves along the way. I am not too picky as long as I can breathe […] and nowadays I am one to prefer clean sheets especially if I don't have my pack with me. Lisateave

This was my second stay at this motel. I chose it because it was conveniently located for my needs, had nice amenities in the room (hair dryer, mini-fridge, microvave, iron and ironing board), and was clean and quiet. I needed a clean convenient place to spend two nights, and Meadowbrook Motor Lodge provided adequate affordable accommodations.

The location was what we needed. I thought the accomadotions were ok, certainly not high end. The room rate was probably at least $15.00 more then it should have been.

We stayed one night at this hotel and loved how firm the bed is. Our only 'complaint' was the lack of hot water for showers at the end of the day. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay.

Not too nad for the price, until roaches and spiders started crawling out from behind the wall-mounted TV!

This hotel is good for budget travelers. Rooms are neat and clean. staff are cooperative at front desk and also the house keeping persons. only the trouble is they do not offer breakfast in the hotel you have to order from out side. front desk staff are cooperative in calling taxis when ever needed. Meadowbrook Motor Lodge was a very comfortable, clean place at a reasonable price, especially compared to the other options on Long Island. Hotel management was very helpful during my stay.

The room was very small, very dark and had many spiders. Our air conditioner didn't work (they gave us a 20% discount for the inconvenience). Definitely one of the worst hotels I've stayed at, especially for the price.

I chose this hotel because of the price. It actually had more than a lot of other hotels much higher priced. Microwave, a medium sized refrigerator, and other items. It wasn't pristine, the toilet seat was broken, toilet leaked, and maybe a little dirty, but it met my needs and I needed a place to sleep and get ready for my filming work. Then the hurricane […] hit, we lost power at 4am, but managed to get a warm shower in before it was all gone. I had two days with no power, no razor, no shower, uggh. The hotel staff came up on day one and asked if we needed anything, but were nowhere to be found on day two. We survived though :) Upon checkout I was expecting some sort of credit or voucher for the last two days. I asked eventually and Manny, the employee at the time, was very nice and wrote me a voucher for two days credit towards my next visit in March. Lisateave

Great amenities. Refrigerator, microwave, dvd and vcr, climate control. internet inevery room. Management bends over backwards to accomodate. Very clean and comfortable. I only wish there were tissues and a pen and paper in the room to take notes. Also I would have liked disposaable shower caps.

A great bargain, close to Bethpage and Eisenhower golf complexes. Front desk staff were very pleasant and attentive. They were helpful in arranging transport. Room A/C worked great, hot shower.

Friendly, Professional & Accomodating each stay

This is a basic motel with modest amenities. Pluses include a mini-fridge and a microwave in the room. The model was conveniently located for my needs, and the price was good. Overall: good value for people who just need a place to spend the night.

I booked a room here because my apartment was being renovated. The hotel and area was very quiet and comfortable. The room had a micro-fridge and a flat screen TV. I only stayed one night but it was pleasant and check in/out was a breeze. There are also some nice restaurants around. I will definitely return if I am in the area.

All we needed was a cheap room for a couple of nights, and that's what we got. The neighborhood was fine, the room was clean, and we had no trouble with staff or guests at all. You won't find a better room for this little money on Long Island. If you want better, you're going to pay twice as much or more, and that's just a fact. My wife and I booked a stay here because we had a family event at a nearby catering hall. Our stay was great! The room was comfortable and very quiet. It had a microwave and refrigerator in there. The area was not safe at all. The room smelled of disinfectant. If it was not for the fact that I was with my son, and we had an important appointment in the morning, I would have rather slept in my car.

My son and I had a one night stay that was a disappointment. This motel was more of a trucker motel. Thank goodness, the events surrounding the reason we needed to stay there, went late. Upon arriving back to the motel, after our event, a woman with very short shorts approached our vehicle, after had to circle the parking lot multiple times, to find […] a parking space. Someone from the motel then walked toward us to, after we parked near a back road. He asked multiple questions, before allowing us to go into our room. The lot was filled with vehicles that wouldn't be sold on a junk car lot. Tractor trailers took up multiple spaces. Our room had two acessible outlets, the curtain to our window didn't close completely, and the bedding was 25 years old. Cigarette burns in the bedding, worn spots, and the furniture was from the 70's. I would not stay there again, even if it were free. Lisateave

I was not impressed at all with this motel, it was filthy, the air comditioning did not work and it was sweltering hot inside. The ice machine (only one) was located in the office, and was rationed a half of a bucket. There were 4 people in the room. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed in.

Moths and insects inside room; spiders in between the bed sheets and walls; shower curtain torn and bottom filled with soap scum. The only good part of this place is the friendly front desk staff who allowed me early check out.

They are renovating the hotel. some parts are complete, some are not. Very good service on check in. They were even able to get a friend a room on short notice. Very clean and quiet room. Would stay there again.
