I was overcharged for Breakfast and if i hadent noticed it would have probably not have been rectified . Cannot understand why a hotel so close to the Rosslare ferry port does not offer breakfast before 0800. The hotel is 10 minutes drive to the port but passengers have to be there to book in by 0800 at the latest for the early departures hence we were unable to eat before our journey. Good value stays in Wexford are hard to come by, I have learned from years of taking an annual break here. The Maldron is just outside of town and well connected to the Dublin and Waterford main roads. The welcome was warm and genuine - the duty manager fussed over us the whole stay. The rooms were clean and well-presented, although the TV was an antique. […] Very popular with families with kids the bar is full of bustle and fun, but the food the isn't great. I the restaurant the menu choices a little limited, but what is on offer is good enough. "The Maldron Hotel in Wexford"
Myself and my husband stayed for two nights. It was our first time staying in this hotel. We found it to be very comfortable and relaxing. Bedroom was nice and big and very clean and fresh. The Bar staff were very friendly and service was very good. There are alot of tourist information leaflets at the hotel if you want to explore the various places, […] and the receptionist was very helpful with directions etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to my family and friends in Cork.
