We had very nice overnight stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food excellent. We would recommend this hotel and will be using it again

Chateaux Tilques is a wonderful place to stay for a short break. The staff are lovely and couldn't be more helpful. The surroundings are idylic and very peaceful. For a relaxing chill out weekend this was absolutely perfect.

Beautiful place, comfortable room, and delicious food (though small portions for the price and a bit pretentious) I would go there again if I were ever in the area.

This is a lovely place, but the chances are that your room will be in the modern annexe, which means they rather lack character. We were hoping for a room in the lovely old main building, but instead were allocated a (very pleasant) room in the new annexe. We felt that the photos on this site give slightly the wrong impression, Apart from that, everything […] was excellent - lovely staff and a great location. Only criticism is that the wifi was not working and the breakfast was a little expensive (€19 - £16) for what it was - a pretty standard buffet. Lisateave

Excellent hotel, beautiful area, but limited choice in the restaurant, however the food was stunning.

We were looking for a short break in the St Omer area with our 2 young boys. Usually we stay in a gite nearby but it was unavailable at this time. The hotel is lovely, the room was very nice with a mezzanine bedroom for the boys. Swimming pool was a bonus for us and was well used. The grounds are very pretty, with a lake and peacocks wandering around. […] Nearby is the lovely town of St Omer with some nice restaurants and a pretty square to watch the world go by. There was also a go cart track nearby which although a shade pricey was a big hit. Only downside was that there was a nightly room supplement because there was four of us in the party even though the room was clearly designed for four, with a double and 2 single beds. This unfortunately made the stay rather expensive. Lisateave

We stayed one night en route to Calais, and the hotel was excellent for this purpose. The buildings and grounds are spacious and comfortable, though our room (we were kindly upgraded) was rather small. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and ni9cely served and the breakfast buffet extensive. We would happily stay here again if we needed a hotel near […] Calais, but it is also a place for a longer stay, for relaxation, golf, or a romantic weekend. If you are eating otuside, beware of the peacock who may wish to share.... Lisateave

We stayed at Château Tilques for one night as we passed through. It is a beautiful, quiet stately home in the countryside and a real eye-catcher. We had booked 2 rooms at very reasonable rates - On arrival they gave us a free upgrade to superior rooms! The rooms very very clean but there are no tea/coffee making facilities. We didn't eat in the restaurant […] as we couldn't book a table until 9pm - too late for the kids. We drove 3 miles into St Omer where there are plenty of cafes/restaurants, a cathedral, beautiful gardens and a great playpark for the under-5s. The hotel has a small lake with a nice walk around it. We would definitely go back for a longer stay. Lisateave

Very nice hotel, excellent restaurant and pool complex. Nice bar if a little expensive. Pretty surroundings with gardens and lake. Friendly staff.

Situé dans un cadre idyllique, l'hotel apporte tranquilité et confort, même avec enfants. Le personnel est d'une extrême gentillesse.

super séjour

Vi sov her en overnatning, det er et smukt hotel ligger smukt, vi spiste kun morgen mad der det var lidt dyrt men godt, vi spiste i Skt. Omar lige syd for slottet, der er mange rasturanter, og ikke så dyrt, som på hotelet.

Et fantastisk hotell med utmerket servise. Flotte rom og en meget god resaurant. Ligger i vakre omgivelser. Drar nok tilbake dit!!

... Hotel agréable proche de Boulogne - Bergues - Calais ... dans un magnifique parc ... avec une très belle piscine intérieure ... Restaurant à conseiller ...

+ La struttura è molto bella; il giardino splendido. posto silenziosissimo e idilliaco con pavoni che gironzolano nel parco, salici e fiumiciattolo. buona piscina coperta. + Il personale assolutamente cordiale + la colazione eccellente nella varietà e nella qualità del cibo. - la camera acquistata era del tipo confort, vale a dire quelle presenti […] nel corpo centrale. all'arrivo vista la durata del soggiorno ci hanno offerto l'upgrade gratuito a una stanza nel pavillon. le abbiamo viste entrambe: quella confort, che aveva comunque un prezzo elevato, era scandalosamente piccola, da non riuscire a posare i bagagli, il bagno un buco. quelle del pavillon invece molto ampie, nuove, meglio arredate, luminose, con balcone. unica pecca la mancanza del frigobar che è assurda vista la categoria dell'hotel e del prezzo. sono stato complessivamente molto bene e ritengo di aver pagato un prezzo equo ma se mi avessero dato la camera che avevo comprato, per quanto avevo pagato mi sarei sentito letteralmente truffato e sarei andato via dopo 1 giorno ! quindi Okkio !
