The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very minimal. Actually had to go to the front desk and ask them to stock the "breakfast" area. No bread, no danish, no plates, low on milk. The breakfast counter needed to be wiped down

A group of us were in town for a swim meet at Mizzou, and this was one of the last hotels with available rooms. The hotel was exceptionally accommodating to us by placing our rooms together. They also had the breakfast ready earlier than called for so we could have a bite before leaving. We did have an issue with some of the rooms above us, and the […] hotel staff did do their best to take care of the issue. Unfortunately the guests would not settle down. This is more reflective of the character of the guests than the hotel's service, in my opinion. The hotel is on the eastern edge of town so you do have to travel to get anywhere, but even so it wasn't a lengthy drive. It's exceptionally clean and comfortable, and comes at a reasonable cost. Hotel is great, staff is great but there was a problem with the heat in the room. We could not turn the heat down and it was uncomfortably warm. Even tried to turn on air conditioner but could not. Finally opened window to allow some cool air in the room. Not sure what the problem was because it has never happened at this hotel before. Obviously some […] thermostat problem. We needed a handicap shower, but your hotels never give you a counter in the bathroom for your toiletries. I can never put my toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, etc. in the bathroom where it is easily accessible. Please consider putting a bathroom sink cabinet in all bathrooms. Just leave open the area under the sink for wheelchair access.Thank you.

The hotel was nice, it was not fancy but I expected that for the price and the name. However, it was clean and very comfortable and we really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. It was also very cold outside and they had the fireplace going in the foyer where you could sit and hang out. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. There are more antique malls/stores in the area than can be gone through in one day. This was a nice middle point without staying in the heart of the traffic. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay but not great.

Have stayed in many different Hotels and it was "just OK", nothing special and served the purpose.. The room cleanliness was disappointing... Hotel staff was fine, the continental breakfast was nothing more then snack machine foods.. The entrance way was impressive BUT once you got to room areas its was not along the same theme. The room pictures posted […] on site are misleading to say the least. I guess the best way to explain .. for a lower end Hotel it was fine.. the problem is you are paying for a mid-range Hotel and this is not at all what you got or would you expect. Lisateave

The hotel itself was fine. There was a little debris (gum wrappers, that sort of thing) below the headboard, which is fairly typical, and the TV remote was a little temperamental, but not too bad. What was very annoying was that the hotel was packed with families whose kids were participating in some sort of athletic meet. So, every evening, from supper […] time till about 11 pm, hordes of pre-teen girls were running up and down the hallways, sounding like a herd of buffalo. Obviously, this is not the hotel's fault, but rather that of negligent and/or overly indulgent parents. However, I couldn't even call the front desk to complain, as the number was perpetually busy. Perhaps other guests were trying to call to complain, too. Also, the hotel is a bit remote from the heart of town. I didn't really feel like I was staying in Columbia. However, it was only a 5 minute drive to the heart of town, so it was no big deal. Lisateave

This was my first experience using Hotels.com. When I checked in, the clerk helping me was a trainee being helped by a more experienced clerk. As the trainer explained how their payment process works when a guest uses Hotels.com, she did a double take and remarked what a good rate I had gotten. Then the trainee looked more closely at the rate and said […] it was "a really good rate" for a football weekend in a college town. Our initial room had problems with the air conditioning. The front desk staff was able to switch us to a different room that was a different size and didn't charge us for the price difference. The girls at the desk were very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to go to. They gave great directions. By the end of the weekend they knew […] us by name and were very social. THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND IN GOOD CONDITION BUT VERY SPARSLY FURNISHED WITH NO REAL COMFORTS FOR THE MONEY. BASIC ROOM, BED WAS NOT VERY COMFORTABLE. FOR THE MONEY I WOULD SAY OVERPRICED.

Never stayed in a Super 8 before. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable though a bit squeaky when you moved. The complimentary breakfast was comparable with other hotels. I would recommend Super 8 to friends and use it again for my family.

After spending a couple of nights in different hotels of this price category I relly didn't expect much. Therefor I was surprised even more. The staff was very helpful and polite, the room was beautiful and the hotel location was perfect for my needs. I would come back any time.

The hotel is located right off the highway, easy to find. The room was clean and comfortable enough. The staff was helpful, but not real cheerful. We had the pool to ourselves, which was nice. Free wi-fi. The only real downside I'd note was that the continental breakfast is pretty skimpy.

This is one of the nicer looking Super 8 motels. The choices at breakfast were bisquits and gravy or not so good waffles. When we had a clogged toilette, the staff gave us a plunger and told us to plunge our own toilette. The hot tub looked gross, but the indoor pool looked okay. The room was clean enough. The hotel was good for the price.

This Super 8 met my expectations: it was clean, adequately equipped, safe, and had an okay free breakfast. They do also have an indoor heated pool which my children enjoyed. Quiet, right off interstate and nice size rooms. Great non-smoking environment. They left the pool open a little larger so I could get in a relaxing swim after a long day of driving. The breakfast could have used a protein source - yogurt or boiled eggs or both, though and hot chocolate or tea.

Well, after finding the correct Super 8, was happy to be there until I had to call the front desk about a herd of drunkards keeping me and my kids awake. Note: They were outside the lobby area so still confused that I even had to call to get them to quiet down. Slept pretty good after that but didn't know if it was the quality beds or a 12 hour drive […] that contributed to my restful slumber. Bathrooms are spacious and almost made up for the stained towels. So, if you are thinking about staying here don't unless you are sleep deprived or delirious. Lisateave

Overall the experience was good. I understand i got a smoking room, but could you air it out some. I didn't smoke in the room, but had to buy air freshener to be able to breathe in it.
