This hotel is perfect for someone trying to save some money, but don't plan on getting the extra services of a nicer hotel. There was rarely someone at the front desk to ask questions of and so we did not really get any hotel help with setting up excursions. Also, of note, the pool is actually in the middle of the upscale restaurant associated with […] the hotel and is very small so no one actually goes in it (would feel too awkward). But these things aside, the room was very nice and great for the money. Lisateave

This was my first trip to Cabo and chose the Hotel on the basis of price & reviews and it exceeded all of my expectations. I couldn't have chose a better Hotel if I had been familar with the area. I will definetly return. It also has an excellent restaurant Salvatore's next door to try during your stay. The staff is also very helpful.

The hotel is a great deal for your money. It's pretty basic, but cute and clean. We actually had a mini suite which worked out perfectly for our 4 days there. There is no pool and it's actually pretty far from the closest beach so that was kind of disappointing. However, it is really close to a lot of great restaurants and bars, as well as the marina. […] The location is superb! The hotel staff was mostly helpful, although there was no one at the desk several times when we had a question to ask. We found the owner of the hotel in his office and he was very helpful at answering our questions and very friendly. There is a really nice Italian restaurant attached that always smells superb and has a great ambiance. We ate there for one night and it was great! Overall, we would stay here again. Needed a hotel for one night in Cabo and didn´t want to spend alot but be close to downtown. Forgot to print directions before I left and was a little hard to find on a side street. But when I found the place i was very happy with everything. The staff very friendly and the rooms clean and a nice size. Would stay there again the price was great.

This hotel was quaint, clean and recently remodeled. Room had refrig and micro. Also free WIFI. Hotel staff polite, check-in/out painless. It was a short distance to the marina and was surrounded by excellent restaurants. Next door was internet cafe. Neighborhood was safe. I would certainly stay there again.

We loved this place!! Close to lots of good restaurants, including the Italian one downstairs. Close to the marina, just a short walk. I can't describe the cleanliness and good condition of Siesta Suites. It's a very good hotel, and in a great location. Would stay there again.

Great Little Hotel in the Heart of Cabo! Super for everyone of all ages! The kids from McGill loved it! Will definitely stay again!

We stayed for just two nights because of airline flights, but just loved it. It is a quant place with wonderful people and downtown where the action is . It is off on a side street so it is quite. Would recommend the place to stay. The Schauers from Wisconsin

A very nice, clean place in a very convenient location (1/2 block from marina). Associated with the hotel is a very good Italian restaurant. Beware of serving portions though,, definitely supersized! I felt lucky to find such a gem! The location is perfect with a short walk to the marina, beach, great restaurants and many shops. The proprietor, his family and all the staff do everything they can to assist you in any way they can. Whether that means recommending a great place to eat,directions or how to use the local transport, they're happy to help. The […] hotel is fantastic. Yes - its nice and the owner and staff are super friendly. The whole Cabo experience was a bit much for us and we prefer the calmer San Jose del Cabo but as far as the hotel goes - its a gem!

I stay there every time I visit Cabo San Lucas and every time has been enjoyable. I have stayed there during 51 separate vacations.

It was a great value, very convenient location, all the staff was helpful, including the restaurant (which we ate at twice- yummy Italian in Cabo, who knew?), and our room was clean and simple. We needed somewhere safe and clean to sleep and shower, this was it.

The hotel is good, just need a pool for customers. :)

If you want quiet downtown Cabo is not for you, saying that the bedrooms at Siesta are away from the fronr balcony which overlooks the restaurant but u need your bed door open if u want ac, we were there in July. Excellent and clean place in safe nieborhood. Good value for price.

My wife and I always look forward to spending the night here before we check into our timeshare at The Finisterra. It has the Mexcian charm with clean rooms, friendly people and a great little Italian Restaurant, Salvatore's right in the courtyard. It is a tradition for us to stay the first night there start off our vacation and to enjoy the Mexican […] hospitality. It is located in the middle of town where you have Cabo Wabo on one side and above on Hildago St. you have fine restaurants, Pancho's, Crazy Lobster, Felix's, Dolca, Mi Casa, ect...A very great location. And the people at the Siesta Suites are very friendly as well as the owners. We recommend this place to all of our friends and strangers that we do meet. Can't wait to get back!! Lisateave

I'll repeat what others have written about the Cabo Siesta Suites: if you are looking for a high-end all-inclusive resort on the beach, this ain't your place... on the other hand, if you want the most bang-for-your-buck in Cabo, this IS your place. I stayed six nights, and spent just a tad more than I would have for one-night in those more luxurious […] properties. Best of all is the location: less than a half-block walk to Pancho's, La Dolce, The Crazy Lobster, Maro's Shrimp House, Felix's Restaurant & Shot's Bar (look 'em up - some of the best eateries in Cabo); two blocks to the Marina, J&J Habanos, and Cabo Wabo; about four blocks to the Cabo-Dolphins Center or Shopping Malls... in fact, the only time I needed a cab all week was when I went to play golf :) On-site managers Juan & Romi treat you more like family than guests - as do readily-available owners Alex & Nancy (who I thank for turning-me-onto the best jewelry store in town: Silver Exposures, about a block-and-a-half distant - ask for Jodie... you'll be glad you did!). The on-property restaurant - Salvatore's - makes what may be the finest lasagna I've ever eaten (and be happy for the kitchenette, because there's no way an average human can eat all of it in one-sitting). Free WiFi is available if you bring your own computer (with a rock-solid signal in room 201) - else they have an area in the front where you can pay to use their desktops. And the property is very clean & well kept - quiet & restful... I can't speak more highly (hence why I'll be a repeat customer)! So, do I have any complaints or even nits to pick? Barely... the only things that come to mind are (1) each room has it's own small water heater - and you go through it pretty quickly when showering (I'd recommend they install a low-flow shower head, to give the illusion of more hot water)... however, the full recharge time is on the order of 10min, so it's no big deal; (2) the bed is a tad on the firm side - I tend to prefer soft (so this was Lisateave

If you need a day on either side of your resort stay or simply like a budget hotel for your time in Cabo this place is great. The rooms are very basic but clean. The staff is very polite and helpful.

We had never been to Cabo and had our airfare already purchased when we found out that a time share we were supposed to be able to use wasn't going to be available, so we started scrambling to find a hotel. We decided, after much soul searching, to give Siesta Suites a try. We were pleasantly surprised! There's a small little grocery store about 2 blocks away, lots of great restaraunts within a few blocks, and we were very close to the pier. Taking a water taxi to the beach was easy and catching the shuttle back to the airport from the Wyndham hotel a block away was a snap ($16 per person). Our only complaint was the bed was a little bit uncomfortable - they just have a mattress with a thick foam pad on a solid pedestal - no box springs. So the bed got a little hard after a week or so, but not unbearable. We would definately stay there again. Lisateave

I spent 7 days in a fancy resort on the water and was so pleased to end my trip at this lovely local spot. The room was spacious with a living area, kitchenette and separate bath and bedroom. Great water pressure too! The restaurant next door (LITERALLY!) is fabulous and I feared my room would be noisy but once I closed the bedroom door, it was very […] quiet. There's no air conditioning but he fans were quite sufficient to keep the rooms cool. There's no pool and no big flat screen TV, but the location is excellent and the surroundings are charming. It's an easy walk to all the activities and shopping spots in town and as a woman staying there alone, I felt very safe walking anywhere even during the evenings. There's an internet cafe with expresso in the lobby and the staff was helpful and pleasant. This spot reminds me of the Cabo I visited 20 years ago. So if you're looking for local, no frills, but clean and safe, I highly recommend this hotel. Lisateave

We only stayed one night at Siesta Suites, but were very happy with out stay. For the price, this place is great. It's not the Ritz, but we had a clean, comfortable room with kitchenette. Staff was friendly and helpful. They have free wi-fi and you can use their computers for only $3 per hour. They are a block away from the marina and Cabo Wabo right […] in the heart of downtown. We'll stay there again if we go to Cabo. Lisateave

The room was clean and ready when we arrived. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is very centerally located to the marina and shopping. The staff helped us find a church 2 blocks away. We would stay again. Alex gave us each a beer because we had touble finding Zapata Street.

We spent our last night in Cabo here, because our time share ended the night before. It's such a great location (we wish we had known about the restaurants in the area before we got there) and a cute atmosphere. The rooms are very cozy and very clean. Not as many amenities as a resort, but lots of tips on where to eat and how to get to the airport. […] If you're not a snob and you like quirky, more interesting places, this little mom and pops gem is perfect for you. The value of this hotel is excellent. It does not have the comforts of the resorts (there is soap but no shampoo in the rooms) but is in a better location, from my point of view. There is no elevator in the complex. The gate is locked after 10 pm, so it can be difficult if you are having guests after that time. YES! I have been coming to Cabo for 25 years! I was here when there were only two hotels a dirt road and a runway, not an airport, with pot holes bigger than any plane wheel that could possibly land there. I have stay in the Pedragal and in a trailer at "the Trailer Park". On this last trip I was staying at the newest fanciest place right on the beach. […] It started to warm up nicely as we were going home so we decided to stay two more days. I went on line, my favorite place is on the pacific side but I came across this 2 star place in a iffy part of town at a rate lower than anything with a lot of great reviews? We actually found it the day before we were leaving because it's right next to the best italian restaurants and little st. bar. We decided to check it out. The family that appears to run the place take pride in their little spot in Cabo. This is really a cool little place I would definitely stay here again! Lisateave

This hotel is in a great location if you want to be downtown and part of the action. In addition, it is clean, safe and has an amazing Italian restaurant on site. There is also an internet cafe and it is close to a good breakfast spot, the lobster guy. If you don't want to have to take a taxi everytime to go to downtown Cabo and want to support a small […] family hotel, this is the place. Not for people looking for a resort type experience. Great place to stay for the price. Clean rooms, with a nice resturant.

I just needed a two night stay prior to checking in at a resort. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and wanted to be near all of the action in the marina area of Cabo. The location is fantastic- walking distance to anything important- this includes the marina to catch a water taxi to the beaches as this property is not beach front. The shopping district […] is surrounding this property as well. 5 minute walk to Cabo Wabo (high prices and nothing great), El squid Roe, and many other bars/clubs. Many mom and pop restaurants and delicious taco stands(recommend Mama's -2 min walk- for breakfast, and el Salvatore for dinner). The wonderful aromas of italian food are present every evening from el Salvatores. The noise level is very minimal- I never heard a thing unless I opened te sliding doors (and I was in Cabo during the crazy bisbee fishing tournament). The staff was very helpful. Any activity I was interested in they had information for and set up everything down to transportation if needed. Even after I left this hotel I came back to ask for help with setting up activities and they were happy to oblige. The room is simple- queen bed, futon chair/bed right at entrance, small kitchenette, and an adequate bathroom. A small tv in the bedroom barely had any English channels but I never really watched the tv much here anyway. The A/C was more than enough and the ceiling fans kept the air circulating well. There is a grocery store nearby to keep water and snacks stocked also. Cabo has beautiful clear beaches , but other than that it is very overrated to me with prices severely inflated, too much vendors harassing, and nothing to really impress me compared to my hometown of Hawaii and trips to the Caribbean islands.. Due to its location, staff, and price, if I ever head back to Cabo, I would probably stay here vs a resort. The resorts may be pretty to look at but the prices are steep, the vendors harass you all day long, time share reps harass you, and dealing with all the " Lisateave

We have stayed there before and Juan and his staff are always great! No problems there whatsoever! The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioner worked great and the room was a decent size and provided everything we needed.

Service was great and fast. The personnel were friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and comfortable - with the temperature in the day rising above my comfort level. However, as the sun set, the room would cool off so by 10pm it was a nice temperature for sleeping.

My husband and I stayed at a resort the first four days in San Jose de Cabo and then came to Los Cabos at Siesta Suites. It was quite the downgrade from luxury- but HEY you wont spend much time in the hotel at all being so close the the action. That is why we call it the tur "mexican" experience. The hotel is located right downtown but it is quiet. The staff was amazing: we parked in front of the hotel, helped us with our bags, and got the room cooled down for us. The room was simple but comfortable and clean.

I had read all of the reviews and was expecting a very friendly staff. We arrived on Sunday, May 10th which was Mother's Day for both Mexico and the US. The clerk on duty when we arrived was a young man who did not seem to know everything that the owners would have, so our arrival was a little disappointing. The bed was softer than expected from reading the reviews. We both slept well. The location was very conveniently located to many shops, restaurants, and the marina. This might not be a 5 star hotel, but it was an awesome stay. The service was excellent, extermely helpful, and the security was over the top. The rooms where clean and stocked. fue muy agradable nuestra estancia. Tooodo está muy cerca, muy accesibleee! nunca hubo necesidad de tomar transporte, mas que para ir al aeropuerto. La marina, las plazas, la playa, farmacias, el centro... todo estuvo realmente próximo. nos atendieron muy bien, siempre muy atentos. I really liked this hotel. Good location, kitchen, a balcony and a nice italian restaurant inside the hotel! No Breakfast, however you can buy food and put it in the fredge! I recommend!

Mycket mysigt familjehotell på tvärgata mitt i stan. Bra restauranger i närheten. Bodde på 4:e vån o hade lite utsikt. Lördagkvällar är det disconight i området och mycket hög musik hela natten. Söndagkvällar är det kyrkokören som övar hela kvällen. Det finns ett penthouse på taket som är det allra bästa boendet. Där finns dock bara en säng (queen) […] . Mycket trevlig personal och liten huskatt som möter när man öppnar dörren på morgonen. Gångavstånd till alla ställen man vill besöka. Lisateave

Het hotel was in uitstekende staat van onderhoud en supersschoon. Het is niet zo'n kolos als in de rest van Los Cabos. De receptie is letterlijk dag en nacht behulpzaam en heel vriendelijk. Of je nu een -rare- vraag hebt (waar vind ik een europese adaptor, het beste strand, het centrale busstation), hulp nodig hebt of iets wilt reserveren: ze doen het […] altijd en met een lach. Wifi, computerruimte, lekker zonneterras waar je hotelgenoten kunt ontmoeten of kunt genieten van zon of maan. Dichtbij prima restaurantjes (Mi Casa, Salvatore), een mini supermarkt, Cabos Coffee (beste koffie), lokale bus voor 5 pesos, het hele centrum op loopafstand, zonder de herrie van het uitgaansleven. Neem wel een kamer op de 2e verdieping of hoger ivm het aangrenzende restaurant dat tot 11 uur open is. Absolute aanrader. Lisateave
