We stayed at this hotel for Columbus Day weekend. The location was perfect to get to everything we wanted. We didn't go as far as Mashpee and Falmouth or Truro and P-Town but everywhere in between was easily accessible and visited. The hotel staff was very polite. Our fridge didn't work and the gentleman hopped right on replacing it. I will say that […] even though it was recently redone you can still tell it is an older hotel body with newer bathrooms. But the room was clean and even though it's on the main road it was quiet (we had a room farther in the back). I like that every room has outdoor access. It was simple and the rate was right. The gentleman that greeted me upon arrival was very nice. Although the room was quite spacious, it smelled bad, the chair fabric looked very dirty, the toiletries were nasty with the bars of soap paper already wet , the tissue box was empty, the towels were very thin and left white lint over your body and there was no clock in the room. It's all about what your looking for! We were looking for a cheap, nice and clean place to sleep for a couple of days because we had so much things that we wanted to do that we were not going to be at the motel much. And we found a great place for our needs! The people who own this hotel were very helpful and very nice toward their guests. Breakfast […] was for sure not a 5 star breakfast but it was much better then i expected, you have a lot of choices like different kinds of bagel, cream cheese, orange juice,coffee, cereal, milk, croissant, fresh coffee....everything you need for a good breakfast. The room were very nice and clean, the bathroom has just been renovated and looked very good and was spotless. It smelled a little stuffy when we got in, but we opened the window and the smell went away. Its 5 minutes drive for sea gull beach with is a very nice and popular beach where theres bathroom, food and refreshments. Had a great time there! Lisateave

The new renovated hotel was clean! The owners were so friendly and eager to please! It has a awesome pool that goes 9ft. deep which also was so clean! They also had picnic tables to have a bbq or lunch under the trees! The hotel was litterally around the corner from beach , which had the most amazing sun rise and moon rise veiw! Best price in Cape Cod but unlike other great low priced motels I've been in, this one this didn't make me feel like I got a good deal. It was cheap in price & cheap in quality. If you're not picky, it'll work.

Pictures of the motel looks better than present state. Worse maintenance situation. Room was not cleaned before we enteren . After the first nigt some hoovering was done. The bathroom too small and the bathtub too dirty to be used. Breakfast (included in price) is very very simple (bread, bagels, gelly, butter, thee, coffee and muffins).

People at the front deck could not have been nicer, but the room was old and ugly. The bathroom was tiny, towels were tiny, no fan, lots of mildew.

Nice people that run it - that's where it ends. Hotel is run down, window was broken, bed rock hard, sheets like sandpaper, continental breakfast a joke, tub drain stopper not good- could not hold water for a bath.

Upon arriving, we had to clean up broken glass scattered over several parking spaces. It seems that the winds of Tropical Storm Irene blew a table top from the pool area into the parking area -- note that this happened at least two days before we arrived. There seemed to be no other noticeable damage from Irene. Walking into our room which appeared […] clean, we noted that a panel (not just the glass) of the back window was broken out. This was not Irene related because the ill-fitting storm window was in place though it did not seal well. Looking right from this window (inside) was a very obvious section of the floor heating panel totally out of where it should be. Looking left we saw 2 very dingy scatter rugs on the bathroom floor. The bathroom walls were well beyond needing updating and simply needed replacing. The tub had a non-skid surface that looked as though it had never been cleaned but on inspection was simply badly stained. However, the bed was clean and reasonably comfortable. The ceiling was so thin that anyone who walked above us sounded like they were purposely stomping their feet. Though there was an outdoor swimming pool, it was extremely cloudy and uninviting. As we left on the Friday of Labor Day weekend, the management was making an effort to make the pool area inviting. However, we felt that over our 3 night stay management put little effort cleaning the pool area. Would we go back -- NEVER! Would definitely give no more than 1/2 star rating. Lisateave

Hostel is located in very practical area, can just hop off the bus and you're there. The pool is great and sunlounger's very handy! Not far from a grocery store/subway shop etc as well as decent restaurants (so we were told). The staff are extremly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple but all we needed. Didn't expect much for price, but seriously? 2 pieces of wood holding up (lopsided) bathroom sink. One was piece of wood, the other looked like an old table leg, lol. Wet spot on carpet near refigerator. bathroom smelled like mold. I swear, matress was the hardest I ever slept on. "Continental breakfast" was a few tupperware containers of dry cereal, […] coffee, apple juice and some small muffins. I do not recommend staying in this hotel. When we walked into our room there was a smell that was truly unbearable. I immediately went to the desk ready to check out but the front desk clerk offered us another room. Reluctantly we looked at the next room and found that it was ok. Rooms were average size. Bathroom and furniture was outdated. We got what we paid for. A very basic, but passable room. The location is ideal -- very close to Hyannis -- and so if you need a place to crash for a night or two, in a great part of the Cape, this will work. There is a rather nice pool, but it's in the center of the parking lot, and not the kind of place where you would necessarily want to spend a […] lot of time. But, again, if you're on a budget, and are looking for a well-worn, but OK place, this a pretty good deal. Particularly if you throuw in the free continenatal breakfast! Lisateave

Nothing special. 1. you don't need any key for the room. you can get inside if you just push the door. 2. Bathroom was dirty and wasn't clean by the room service not even once (we stay 3 nights). 3. All the walls are so old and thin so we could hear what's going on in next room. 4. Funny pool- in the middle of parking. 5. Loud AC like old truck 6 Neighborhood […] was pretty nice. That's the only plus of that place. 7. The people who ruining that place doesn't speak English well. This is a quaint motel in the style of a 1960's motel. The A-frame office is a distinctive landmark in the area. The new management are doing a lot to make the motel more comfortable and asthetically pleasing. The new artwork in the pool is very interesting, completed by the son of the new owners. They pledge to update many of the comforts in the rooms […] over the winter after the busy summer season. The location of the motel is within easy driving distance to many shopping, beach, restaurant and other ammenities. We had a delightful three nights staying at the Red Mill Motel and would recommend it to others. When we go back to this area of Cape Cod near Hyannis, we will look into staying at the Red Mill Motel again. Lisateave

The hotel was probably built in the 60's and i don't think there has been any renos done since then. The parking has huge wholes in it, the rooms are beat up. My door looked like someone had tried to force it open before. The rooms were big, but one of the two rooms i rented had a really bad urinal smell when we came in. The toilets were clean, but […] small. But that wasn't an issue. The curtains had some stains, so did the carpets. The bed sheets were clean, and the pillow were comfortable. The continental breakfast was a rip off, the donuts were at least 2 or 3 days old, nothing was fresh and to be honest it was terrible. This was a very bad experience. The pictures posted on the Hotels.com site show a better maintained motel. When we pulled in, the hotel itself was run down. The bed in our room was broken and there were no other rooms available for us to move too. In the staff's defense, they did offer to call a maintenance man. We made do and slept with our heads at […] the foot of the bed. The rooms were very poorly maintained. Also the same manager that we spoke to about the bed, sent another customer to our room at 11pm. He had rented the same room twice with the same broken bed. The pool was clean but run down and not as nice as pictured. The manager mentioned that they would not charge our credit card for the room. We are waiting to see if we are refunded or not. Would not recommend staying here for more than 1 night and only if there were no other options available. The motel was below what we expected. We were simply looking for a place rest our bodies during a July 4th weekend that spanned from Yarmouth to Provincetown. The location was very good; right on Rt 28. 1/2 mile from the beach, across from mini golf, near restaurants and the supermarket is nearby. The checkin was easy. The room LOOKED clean. But the […] bathroom towels had hair on them, and not ours. The tub didn't drain. The bed spreads had holes in them. The Motel was the worst of all places we stayed throughout our 3 weeks holiday. The outside appearance was old, the pool was not in use for at least a couple of years and the parking lot was ruined. The rooms were the worst. They were dirty, it was obvious that all the rooms (we checked others) used to be smoking rooms which gave an awful smell. Furthermore, […] the sheets and the bed itself was dirty. The bathroom was terrible. Furthermore, the room was noisy and it was impossible to get to sleep cause of the noise from the airco from three rooms further. This place is not more than a roof without any comfort. This place was horrible! Although it was advertised as non-smoking, all the rooms smelled like smoke (we had a large party stay there) and there were cigarette burns in the sheets. When we first arrived, the hotel manager was in his car attempting to leave! It was 9:10PM but the sign on the door said the office was open until 10:30. Les chambres sont exactement comme sur les photos, tout est neuf et impécable. Le personnel est super gentil. La piscine est magnifique, les enfants ont adorés. J'étais au deuxième étage ce qui est préférable pour ne pas entendre marcher les voisins.
