This hotel and resort feels like it's totally isolated from the rest of the world. In reality it isn't, with the town of Bath only 15 minutes drive away. But the peace and tranquility that the hotel offers is unparallelled. It was comfortable and in the most stunning setting. If you expect a high end resort with immaculate grounds and equipment, then you may be disappointed, especially if you are in the main lodge. I found a great deal on Expedia for two nights and we loved our stay. We just overlooked the algae on the balcony and the worn rugs. Overall, the rooms were very clean and we slept well on comfy beds. The views […] and surroundings were stunning. Our room happened to be a corner room with views of the pond in back of the grounds. We loved it. The food off the meal plan was good. The staff was exceptional. The views from either restaurant were fabulous. The pool had the feel of an aging mediterranean resort. It was old with algae on the bottom, but the water was clean, salty and refreshing. Best of all, the views from the pool surround were exquisite. The game room was straight out of the fifties with a load nine pin machine and a host of other cool games. My kids loved canoing and the odd ring game at our Main Lodge entrance. My wife and I played shuffle board, croquette, volleyball, badminton, air hockey and swimming. It was a real old fashion resort trip. Lisateave

Beautiful location calming relaxing very clean room wonderful massage at spa good food at both restraunts on the premises small mountain climb with excellent view of harbor Beautiful gardens all around sunset cruise cancelled because of winds disappointed but understood great reception on Sunday just after our arrival

We completely enjoyed our two night stay in the Harbor Village East. We were upgraded and were very appreciative. The staff were very helpful and responded prompltly, bringing us another refrigerator when ours wasn't working. The food at the Ledges was good and it was really pleasant to watch the sunset. If you are looking for an in expensive weekend for the family, its great, but I wouldn't go for a romantic weekend. It's a little fated, but nice. Reminded us of the place in 'Dirty Dancing'. Activities, etc make it perfect for families. Very clean.

It was never brought to our attention that the majority of the rooms at the resort were not air conditioned, including the one we were assigned. Because it was so hot, we had to pay a lot extra to get a room that was.

Loved the beautiful scenic views, lighthouse, and olympic sized salt water pool. Was not prepared for lack of air conditioning and the family-oriented feel. If you are going with young children and/or having a family reunion, I would highly recommend it. If not, find something with a little more to do!

Lots to do...it's a great resort for relaxation, conference or wedding! Extremley friendly & helpful service. They have everthing you need & what a beautiful location!

The view is spectacular on the resort. I loved sitting poolside watching the boats and relaxing with a book. The breakfast was excellent, again with a view of ocean. The only disappointing thing was there was no coffee in any lobby that I could find, you had to go to the Pilot House for breakfast that closed at 10AM. Sebasco Estates is right on the water and gorgeous. Service and facilities excellent. It is a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip.

A wonderful location with our room overlooking the bay. We could hear the surf at night with windows open. The restruant within the resort is excellent and prices are reasonable. The common spaces with a lit fireplace are cozy and inviting. The resort rooms , however, need some serious updating....our room was very musty and bathroom was not inviting. […] The bed was acceptable. Food quality and service at the Harborside (casual) restaurant was poor. Everything was late and they got a lot wrong -The food was not fresh, especially the fish, which is amazing given where they are. They need more adult supervision there..... Pool needs updating Hard to know who they want coming there and why Activities were good

The overall experience was pleasant. Our room was perfect for what we needed. We had difficulty getting on line through their web page on our laptop and using their computer was uncomfortable. They have a computer for guests to use in a very very tiny room. The general lounge area was nice except the games were old and worn. Missing lots of pieces and […] needed TLC. Lisateave

We booked a room overlooking the water with a balcony. We got a water view - of a pond on the golf course- the balcony was ground floor - NO AIR-CONDITIONING!!! So it was take a chance and sleep with open windows or close them and endure the heat. The bathroom was from the 60's - complete with worn linoleum flooring! Rooms never cleaned before 2pm - […] and on the final night there was a problem with a sewage leak and the whole place had awful odor - oh and lets not forget the thin walls and wooden floors - request top floor if you want to sleep! I kept waiting for Patrick Swayze and "Baby" to come out and dance. I'm pretty sure "Dirty Dancing" was filmed here! The Main Lodge is in great need of updates including AC and getting rid of the musty odor! The Habor rooms were great - new & nice. The Pilot House and its staff were great! Golf and Tennis was good. Grounds nice with beautiful views […] but old salt water pool in need of repair/updating. Wasn't my idea of a resort getaway but it could be yours. Lisateave

Would have liked the pool hours to be longer than 7 pm since there was no a/c in the lighthouse. Also bathroom floor very slippery even when dry. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Do not Stay in the Main Lodge! It reminded us of a nursing home gone bad. From the musty stale urine smell to the granny decor to the creaky rocking chairs. Our room had huge water stains on the ceiling that had fuzzy black mold and mildew spots growing out of them. We complained at the registration desk and we were moved to a beautiful room in Harbor […] Village facing Casco Bay. Harbor Village is the place to stay! All new, tastefully decorated accomodations! Place was a joke rec center closed, no bowling, fishing, boat rentals as advertised, room was small and out dated, main lodge we stayed in look like it was going to fall to the ground. Pond on grounds was swamp like and nasty. Golf course was wide open play and not maintained and expensive at $28 for 9 holes. My girlfriend said it reminded her of the […] place where the move Freddy vs Jason took place. DONT waste your time or money place was the worst place I every stayed Lisateave
