Received an upgraded room on arrival. Staff was very friendly, especially in restaurant. Good value for the dollar, although neighborhood wasn't very nice, the accommodations were. Would stay here again.

Not very good carpet was old and stained and very old hotel needs remodeling badly tv remote did not work had to go to tv to work hotel location was good but bad neighborhood

Tv does not work and several other issues. We will see if hotels.com contacts me about this. I'm thinking expedia or someone else after this. I would never recommend this one. But I had no choice as my flight leaves in the morning.

Dear Hotel.com, my stay at this hotel went after all well. The front desk staff needs some training to be a good costumer service agent. The staff was rude, not professional, and not qualified. They eat at the front desk, make private phone call on their cell phone, chewing gum while talking to guests. In my point of view these costumer service issues […] are very hard to experience. After booking over 35 hotels with hotels.com this was the worst. Waited an hour for the shuttle at LAX, check in lady was beyond rude, hotel is in horrible condition, room was filthy and loud with broken windows. Stay away.

It was clean. I was given two rooms the other room was a sitting room. This place caters to back pakers too. The clientenal was mixed from retires to young folks. They also have a variety of room accomodations.They have a restaurant but the food was mediocre at best. Over all good value for the money.

The service was great. Lots of freebies. Condition of the facility pretty seedy. :) Good and convenient if you don't have much money to spend and don't mind the run down facility. Staff are nice, and shuttle service great. Free coffee and tea. Free wifi. All that part was great.

This place was awesome! it's a hotel/hostel, so it's a great place to meet people from all over the world! throw in a free hot buffet, free champagne, pool tables, outdoor arcade, very cheap full liquor bars, and an awesomely friendly staff and youve got yourself a great time

this was a return visit.as before it was great.the breakfasts are huge!!fresh fruit with it.good drinks.the continental breakfast is a bit disappointing...coffee tea&blueberry muffins...thats it.i'm used to a varity of pastries and juice.most of the employees are great.

Old facility but well kept. stayed only one night but slept well. some minor noise, Difficulty getting the desk in early morning. They have round the clock coffee...YEAH! All in all, it is reasonable and it works...I'd stay again.

Cheap place to sleep and take a hot shower if you don't mind the little things. Music was blaring outside so it was difficult to sleep. Front desk person was a bit rude but the shuttle to the airport was great. I'll probably pay a little more next time.

ceiling leaked in one room, window in bathroom wouldn't completely close and tub facet kept dripping. One young lady kept giving me random times that the shuttle would arrive to pick me up. Waited over 30 minutes a couple of times even after having called in between.

Very good value. This would be an excellent choice for anyone traveling on a budget, especially a family with kids.

Bear in mind this is backpacker accommodation, so the standard is, well, backpacker. The staff were friendly, the rooms acceptable, the free shuttle bus ran 24 hours as advertised and services the metro station as well as the airport, the pool was clean, free coffee and popcorn all night and a friendly environment full of chatty backpackers. I thought it was terrible! We had an early morning flight and the bar downstairs had music blaring until 10pm... but that had at least been muffling the sound of the street traffic!! And the closer on the window overlooking the street was broken! To walk from the room to the restaurant (which is an equally horrible story!), there is a narrow walkway […] where people were congregating and smoking! The place was a nightmare! Lisateave

awful! Arrived to find cops in lobby, someone's room had been broken into. Manager could not get the security cameras to work for cops. "upgraded" to bungalow (quiet), but tv did not work. Called front desk who did not offer to switch me to another room & did not have "enigineering" personnel til am. Bathroom toilet ran continously unless I took off […] lid & reached in an put flapper down manually. Bathroom unclean & bulb burnt out. In am, called again about tv.answrd on 4th try. Manager said someone would come in at 9, but by 12 no one showed up. None of the curtains worked properly & I had to shove furniture behind them to get light into room, which was a mistake as I could now see where someone had spilled tobacco spittle all on one wall of the kitchenette. Light switch on bedroom lamp didn't work, had to plug & unplug to turn on & off. "Free continental breakfast" was a cup of coffee & burnt/dry muffin, so ordered breakfast in restaurant. Waitress was horrible, agrueing with other customers. Checking out, watched as phone rang endlessly & surly desk clerks dealt with customers. Woman checking me out, started with me, then halfway thru dealing with me, picked up her purse & left, leaving me standing there.Spoke with manager, who apologized but did not offer any solutions/help....only nice thing was the very pleasant male van driver. A very run down hotel: the exterior of the building, the lobby, but especially the room itself. We found hairs all over the bathroom, on the "clean" towels, and on the linens. It was nice that the hotel offered free drinks, popcorn and other amenities, but it doesn't make up for the lack of cleanliness and disrepair to the rooms.

It's 15 min walk to metro ( free shuttle to metro) but to get to Hollywood by metro it takes about 2 hours. Alot of free things such as: coffee/tea, popcorn, shuttle and more.

varest Hotel I ever stayed in my life. No parking for your car, Wifi doesn't working, No room cleaning everyday. Hotel surroundings are filled with scary people. Frontdesk people are very unhelpfull if anything is not working. Waste of money, no satisfaction at all for your money. If you go out and come late to in the night to hotel, you will not find […] parking place for your car, so you have to park in middle of the two car rows I mean in paralle than your have give keys to frontdesk or they will wake you up at early morning to move the car from driveway. If there is a option to give 0 point I will difinately choose. If you are a decent family, you definately feel bad about the atmosphere. Beds are unconfrtable, cheap hotel and cheap maintenance. If you are planning to Work from motel, dont choose this hotel, wifi is very poor, sometimes sorry all the times it wont connect, if you go ask them they will say "may be it's your problem with your computer blah,,blah,," they say unrelated answers. Even am feeling it's waste of time to write review. But I thought it will helpfull to peoples. I dont understand how the gournament give permission to run this motel, it should close rightaway. I was very satisfied. A lot of young people, but not loud. Several free services (breakfest, dinner, cookies/popcorn, shuttle). It is really the price worth.

The lady at the front desk was the most terrible person I ever met. She could not even spell to service friendly. She made very clear that she was not happy with her job. This made our short (8hrs) stay very unpleasant.

For a one night stay its enough. The airport shuttle was very comfortable after a long flight. We took at the next morning the shuttle again to pick up the rental car. So you dont have to search it.

An LA-style hostel, with mostly young, foreign guests. All the rooms are suites. Clean, 60's style, surrounding a center courtyard with lots of lush greenery on the property.
