The hotel was located direct at a nice beach but the hotel was quiet worn-out and would need a "face lift". The food & restaurants was good and the personnel was friendly and service minded. Amazing food. Colorful drinks. Huge beach with perfect sand. Very clean. A variety of water sports. Old tennis courts. Live music. Clean but basic rooms. Good deal. Great quality/price ratio. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was located on the most beautiful beach in St. Lucia but it is 90 mins from the airport and the drive can be a bit harrowing. One of the things you need to know before visiting this hotel, if you are coming from the states, is that you will need a electric plug converters because all of the outlets are European. Surprisingly so, but you can walk out to get coffee, gelato or eat out at a different restaurant if you like. We did and had a great time. We had a room with a patio overlooking the gardens and literally steps to the beach. Perfect location. The only true disappointment was that we selected this hotel because there were tennis courts on the premise. However, the tennis courts were in such disrepair that we couldn't use them. Nice, clean hotel room. Hotel is right on the beach. Friendly staff in general. One woman at the Mariner's restaurant wasn't too friendly, but certainly nothing to dampen your stay over. Not that I wanted to shop at their knick-knack store, but even if I did the hours seemed to not really matter to them as the store seemed to rarely be open. No complaints […] otherwise! Lisateave

Hotel is on a great beach with lots of restaurants close by. The staff were very good to deal with. The room that I stayed in had the bathroom upgraded since last year when I was there. When I have stayed there before I have never had any complaints but it was starting to look like it needed some upgrades to the rooms so was glad to see it in my room. […] I will definately go back there again. I did not come in with an itenarary but the reservation was on tthe computer..the young lady at the desk, said I had to purchase a card to use the internet, make a copy and bring it back to her. I thought that was a little too much. I did that and my money was used up trying to print a copy of the itenarary from the printer which was not working. this was our second time in this resort..We like the price 180 a night all inclusive for both of us. Location is fantastic,on the beach,water very calm,fabulous view. Food is simple, but very good and healthy choices.You have to rent a car to get there and it takes about 40 min.

Situated on the beautiful Reduit beach the Rex is is in close proximity to the many bars in the Rodney Bay area,the new Baywalk shopping mall and the Rodney Bay mall.Even though these are only a short walk from the hotel you are not disturd by noise and are not hassled by the locals.Castries is only 15-20 mins by taxi if you are not driving. No water presure in showers. Hotel needs to be renovated. Smells in hallway by shop is not very nice. One bed in my room we felt the springs, unable to get a decent night sleep. Furniture needs to be replaced. Very freindly staff. Beautiful location. Will return again, if the rates are good and because of the wonderful staff.

This hotel is in a great location in Gros Islet. A 5 minute walk to supermarkets and shopping. It is also very close to the cricket grounds and Rodney Bay. The hotel decor is a bit run down but, at least the beds had very nice, cozy comforters. Just beware of the very pregnant desk clerk. She was a bit unpleasant and her attitude was by far the worst […] part of my stay at the St. Lucian by Rex. One more tip - make sure to bring your own electrical transformer if you use American electrical products. The hotel only has British points and does not have any transformers to lend but they were kind enough to charge my ipod and camera at the front desk. Very much met expectations. The hotel could use some paint here and there, and the rooms were comfortable but not fancy... but you are located on the same beach as some much far more expensive hotels. In fact, if you look across the bay you can see one of the Sandals Resorts at 5x the cost. The other big plus was that it was very convenient walking […] distance to many local restaurants and shops including a big grocery store. This hotel is right on the best beach on the Island and the food on the all inclusive plan is great. However the room need to be upgraded. No plug for shaving.. No irons in the rooms.. The bathroom floods every time one takes a shower. The price for this hotel compeare to other hotels on the Island was good

This hotel is great for those who do not need a fancy room and want easy access to Reduit Beach and the Rodney Bsy area. There is sometimes live music in the lobby, which is a great party. Access to the beach is great! Some rooms have great views. I would stay here again.

le personnel est charmant. Un petit rafraichissement des chambres s'impose. Malgré tout l hôtel est très agréable avec une belle plage ou l on se baigne avec des poissons.

Hotel convenable,nous avons été bien reçu par le personnel à la réception. Mauvais point pour les autres personnels de l'hotel car ceux ci n'ouvrent pas la bouche pour vous dire bonjour.Le cadre est agréable car hôtel située en face d'une très belle plage et dans un quartier touristiques pas loin de toutes commodités(resto,bar hyper marché...). Centres […] commerciaux situés à 5mn à pied.La ville de Castries est à 15mn en taxi co.L'hôtel dispose de 2 piscines,1 petite et 1 plus grande qui se situe à l'extrême bout de l'hôtel.elles sont peu profonde(1.05m) ms on peut y faire trempette. S'agissant de la nourriture je n'y était pas fan, le choix est limité et on nous sert bcp trop de fritures.Mais ce n'est qu'une question de goût.Mais globalement g bcp aimé mon pti week-end et mon chéri aussi.nous y retournerons sans hésitation. Super(be) emplacement sur la plage ! Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Juste un problème d'A/C bruyante et peu performante dans la chambre.

Hôtel très sympathique. Le personnel est vraiment très accueillant, toujours près à rendre service. Le service All inclusive est super.

Hotel bien situé en bordure de plage, près d'une zone commerciale, cependant un peu vétuste,mérite un rafraichissement des infrastructures. Personnel acceuillant et agréable. Mention spéciale pour la restauration plutôt de bonne qualité. Bon rapport qualité - prix!

bon rapport qualité prix cependant vous devriez proposer une formule intermédiaire avec le petit déjeuner.

accueil rapide et disponibilité du personnel

bien situé proche de RODNEY BAY ou l' on peut faire du shopping , des restaurants a proximité. le personnel est agreable un service de qualité ,nous etions très satisfait c' est un séjour a renouveller

tres bon accueil et super service et attitude de tout le personnel. De la reception aux restaurants, passant par les techniciens et agents de ménage : sourire, salutation, amabilité, disponibilité ! Tres bon prix en discount pour un all inclusive très sympa. Activités en mer (pédalo, kayak; voile inclus)... Muito bem localizado na Av dos principais restaurantes, bares e eventos noturnos, inclusive Cassino, que o hotel dá um voucher de boas vindas para iniciar as apostas ! Restaurantes na região muito bons com preço de médio a alto, muitas opções de cozinha e lanches, com horarios flexiveis. Academia de ginástica ótima, SPA caro, lojas dentro do Resort […] com preços de mercado, inclusive conveniência e café. Só vale a pena o sistema all inclusive se vc quiser ficar no resort, não fazer os passeios e se beber consideravelmente bem pra valer a pena, senão dá pra tomar café na boa na cafeteria e ficar livre pra passear o resto do dia. O Rodney Mall proximo do hotel, a pé, tem duty free com preços iguais ao gde Point Seraphim no centro de Castries só que menos opções. Lisateave

Très bon séjour, personnel très souriant, serviable, accueillant. Bel emplacement. All inclusive, excellent qualité prix (accès à un très grand nombre d'apéritifs). Nourriture agréable, saine et variée. Seul bémol : problème de climatisation pendant trois jours. Globalement très bon rapport qualité prix, nous reviendrons.

Nous avons été enchantés par cet hotel : proche des commerces, restaurants, lieux de sortie, mais aussi avec un accès à la plage directement depuis l'hotel. L'accueil fut très agréable et le service de qualité. nous avons meme été surclassés par une chambre avec vue sur mer. nous recommandons cet hotel et y retournerions avec plaisir.

Läget perfekt direkt på stranden. Härligt att höra vågorna från den öppna balkongdörren då man vaknade. Städpersonal gjorde ett mycket gott jobb i utanför liggande korridor och rum. Mycket trevlig i sitt bemötande avmig som gäst. Receptionspersonal prioriterade aldrig befintlig gäst framför telefon som ringde. Avbröt då helt kontakten ibland under flertal […] minuter. Ej tillmötesgående vad gällde service /turistinformation, exempelvis hjälp med att kontakta båttaxi för beställning av dagstur. Mycket tidskrävande och omständligt då jag försökte boka rum för ytterligare 10 personer som deltog i ARC och behövde rum för 1 - 5 nätter. Vid kontakt med annat hotell i närheten tog detta några sekunder att få svar på från ansvarig receptionspersonal. Receptionspersonal behöver vara mer serivce- och gästinriktade än vad jag upplevde att de var. Detta drog ner helhetsintrycket rejält! Internetuppkoppling fungerade inte alls utan det var nödvändigt att gå till annat hotell eller internetcafé. Lisateave

Hotellet hadde ypperlig beliggenhet direkte på lang sandstrand. Det var vakter ved innkjørselen og på området hele døgnet. Bassengområdet var lite, men vi kunne også benytte området på nabohotellet. Fellesområder og et lite utvalg butikker var av god kvalitet. Rommet vårt var bra, men vi måtte tilkalle hjelp for å få i gang air-conditionanlegget. Safen […] virket fortsatt ikke selv etter at en ansatt hadde vært for å fikse den, så det ga vi opp, og hårtørreren streiket siste dagen. Det sto i hotellbrosjyren at man kunne leie strøm-adapter i resepsjonen, men det hadde de ikke. Mobilen måtte derfor lades av resepsjonisten. Det tok ca. ti minutter å gå til Rodney Bay Mall, de nyeste butikker og med det beste utvalget vi fant på vår seiltur innom i alt fem forskjellige øyer. Maten på strandrestauranten var bra, og det var flere spennende alternativer til mat og drikke rett over gaten. Strøket rundt hotellet var greit å bevege seg i også etter mørkets frembrudd. (Det ble mørkt ca.kl. 18.30.) Rodney Bay Marina var like i nærheten, med et godt utvalg av barer og restauranter i maritimt miljø. Det kostet kr. 5 og tok ca. 20 min. med buss til hovedstaden Castries. En by der man blir anbefalt å holde seg i sentrum pga. stor fattigdom og høy kriminalitet. Kunne virke litt trangt i butikkene ved havna når gjestene fra passasjerskipene ble satt i land, men det store innendørs markedet var bra, og prisene mye lavere enn i souvernir-butikkene. Lisateave

Personnel très accueillant, hotel et chambre propres et agréables. Par contre les tarifs du restaurant de l'hôtel sont élevés, même pour les p'tits dej. Possibilité de manger dans des strucures extérieures proches pour pas cher et bonne qualité, et conseillés par les propres employés de l'hotel ! Très bon séjour.

HOTEL doit être rénové et ainsi que l'accueil. On doit énormément insister pour avoir ce que l'on souhaite. Mauvaise organisation. Au niveau hygiène pas très propre. Cependant le cadre extérieur reste agréable et sympa. Un peu déçu de l'hotel on s'attendais à mieux. Notre séjour fut très agréable.

hôtel très bien placé dans un centre touristique au bord d'une magnifique plage, à 10 minutes de la capitale. Toutefois nous déplorons des effluves nauséabondes remontant dans les toilettes de notre chambre,dans un couloir proche des cuisines, ainsi que de l'autre côté de la rue, aux. abords de l'hôtel , à l'extérieur. personnel très aimable, serviable. les […] repas pris sur place sont très chers. sejour magnifique, hotel est tres grand, le personnel est disponible, à l'ecoute, repas excellents. Nous sommes tres content de notre sejour, on y retournera...
