Super 8 Houston/NASA/Webster Area - Houston

Very dirty room and had a bad smell. Fridge very old, moldy, and non-working. No coffee pot with the coffee maker. We were glad to have a roof over our heads on a busy Houston night though. All other places sold out.

A big bang for your dollar! Don't expect a 5 star, your not paying for it but wow it was a good clean room, good bed and thank goodness a super clean air conditioning unit!

The hotel was wonderful, however hotels.com booked a smoking room when I attempted to reserve a non-smoking room. This was especially troubling as I am allergic to cigarette smoke and the hotel was completely booked so switching rooms was not an option. Buyer beware when you are booking your rooms.

The hotel was in a good location. Although I wont book this hotel again. The hot/cold faucets in the shower were opposite, the beds were hard as a rock. We had 4 people in our room, and couldnt get anymore than 3 towels and washcloths. We had to go to the nearest Walmart to make up for it. I was very pleased with this hotel. The only negatives are that the toilets don't flush very well and the hotel is off of a one way street, which is a bit of a driving hassle. Everything else was great. It is close to many attractions such as NASA and Kemah Boardwalk. It appears to be a somewhat older hotel but is well maintained and clean.

Clean hotel, spacious room. Ideal location for Space Center which is in walking distance, also an excellent Indian restaurant nearby. Overall no complaints at all.

Everything was perfect except for the spray they use in the rooms. It is very strong, so for those with allergies it can be a problem. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay. Great service, clean, reasonably priced, great location, etc..

No compliants. Nice quiet area. Clean modern rooms. Great parking and not far for dining or shopping. Location is less than 35 minutes from Galveston. Overall a great place. I would recommend to friends and family.

This was the jumping off point to a roadtrip. The room was clean. Shower hot. Neighborhood was quiet. Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired, but an IHOP was within sight. Felt safer here than closer to the Hobby Airport. Kemah Boardwalk & Galveston close. Just what we were looking for.

They charge you $5 if you don't return your room key and they don't even tell you about it!! Plus, they never told me that when I check out, I must return my room key or I will get charged!! I didn't find out a few days after that they charged me! I was there for one week too and they gave me 2 room keys. When I called they told me that I would get […] my $10 back if I returned my room keys. I came only to visit from out of state!!!! Comfortable and clean stay at an amazing value! Only complaints are that I didn't care for the pillows (personal preference) and that the breakfast ends so early (6-9am) because my kids and I like to sleep in on the weekend! I know it is a budget hotel but I do expect a clean room. Breakfast was awful. The only thing super about this hotel was it was close to NASA space centre but I am sure that there are better hotels close by. Would not stay again and I will not stay at any super 8 hotels in the future.

Girl at front desk was very rude. Wouldn't give us a first floor room. Wouldn't give me a receipt until she checked for damages. We missed the breakfast. It ended at 9 on a Sunday. Our room smelled like smoke.

The room was fine however this hotel nickles and dimes you on everything including a $5.35 key card fee. Moreover they take a photocopy of your Driver's License without letting you know. There were no signs or such information when I initially booked it on Hotels.com. I actually saw the Front Desk photocopy the ID and questioned her about it. He response […] was for "your protection and ours!" I had to speak to the owner and the owner has apparently been practicing this deed and I reminded him that it was illegal for him to do that since he was not a governmental agency and that he had no signs that indicated that it was their practice. I had to insist that I did not want to participate in this since it was illegal. I had to resign a form - the receipt then had to actually insist that they destroy the photocopied ID in front of me - apparently they destroy the information after a month only! The front desk person was uninformed and did not know her job at all. Pretty scary considering they think they can have access to your personal info just because you stay at their motel! Will not recommend nor go back to this place. The neighbourhood was suspect at least as there were people watching the motel - they were not guests! Lisateave

We spent two nights on the weekend. We checked in late in evening. The lady at the desk was so sweet. She gave us maps to everywere we needed. She also gave me a coupon for lose dinning as well. I asked a million question and she was very patientence with me. :) We had a good breakfest ,good night sleep, good parking. Will stay there again. :)
