The staff was excellent that's a big plus staying out of town they knew where everything was and how to get there.....the hotel needs remodeling very bad but I'm sure they will get to it. We were visiting friends from outta town vey close to cedar point and all attractions

The location was excellent, very near Kalahari where the convention we attended was being held. Accommodations were very good. Pool was nice. Had to pay for a refrigerator in the room; that seemed a little cheap.

It's all I expected for 50 a night. Surprising lack of restaurants in the area. Entire hotel has a bit of a smell, but you dont notice it after a few minutes. Would be better if they had queen beds instead of only doubles.

This hotel was about a fifteen minute drive from Cedar Point. A lot less expensive than ones closer but still pretty close. I'd recommend this to those who don't want to spend a lot and willing to drive a little longer to save a buck. Nice hotel. I'd stay here again.

Let me first start by saying, I'm not very picky. I know this is a two star hotel and I didn't expect 5 star accommodations. However, I found this place really disappointing. Upon arriving (in the dim light) the room seemed nice. It was a king room with a pull out couch and was very spacious. When turning all the lights on however, there appeared to […] be several dark stains on the bedspread and some reddish/brown stains I can only assume were blood? The sheets also had black streaks on them. Upon calling the front desk and requesting new linens they didn't send anyone to actually change them, just dropped off a new set of sheets and a blanket made for a full size bed which, upon opening we found a clump of hair on. Disgusting. Didn't even really want to sleep in the bed but didn't have much of a choice at that point. Spend a few extra bucks and stay elsewhere! There are much better places near Cedar Point! I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and newness of this hotel. The clerk at the check-in desk was very helpful and made check-in a breeze. Breakfast was your typical fare however the waffle-maker was a nice bonus. My only disappointment was that the pool was not open yet however it was the middle of May so that's understandable.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, a good value, There are fastfood restaurants nearby, but you have to drive about 6 miles to shopping centers and nicer restaurants. You are right next to OH turnpike and about 15-20 minutes away from Cedar Point.

Basic motel, good to stay for a night while travelling. Free internet is available but did not work in the room. Front desk staff was helpful in trying in sorting out the internet issues. In the lobby it worked. Breakfast is the typical basic fare.

Very good upkeep on this property; everything sparkles. Could have used an extra blanket on the bed, given the weather outdoors. Good breakfast, ample parking.

The hotel was a great value for the price. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. There's a cute Italian restaurant inside the hotel, so it was very convenient! Overall, I was very impressed with the price and the overall experience. I'd definitely stay there again!

We wend to Cedar Point and Super 8 was great place to stay. Everything was good except finding them. Our GPS and cell phone GPS could not find them. We found them using Google map by business name. If you book it, make sure you know where they are or have your map printed. Other than that, it was great stay. Food was good too.

For the price, it was beyond what I expected. Yes, the room and building is dated but it appeared to be maintained well. The free breakfast was a nice addition to an already low price and the seating was great! Most hotels that offer a free breakfast fail to advise that you will need shoulder pads and a helmet to survive the breakfast mob. Not so here […] ... plenty of room and they kept items stocked. Overall, I was pleased and really appreciated the pricing as our family is on a limited budget. Lisateave

Front desk was very helpful on several occasions and even allowed me to use their office computer to print off discount tickets to Cedar Point. Continental Breakfast was very small. Not alot of selection. Pretty much cereal, waffles, and donuts. Room had 2 doors, 1 for parking lot had the chain latch missing and did not shut/lock well, exhaust fan did […] not work in bathroom, and only gave a family of 4 three towels. But the front desk exchanged them for us regularly. You get what you pay for. Cheapest hotel we could find in the area. Very good staff that was always kind and helpful. Lisateave

I think it would be smarter to put your smoking rooms on the second floor and not on the first floor below your non smoking rooms on the 2nd floor and or non smoking rooms across the hall from smoking. All in all it still stinks, while they did move us from a 2nd floor room to a 1st floor room there was still a smell. By the looks of the carpet that […] still had white dog hair everywhere it was probably something to do with that. to add to the fact that I have allergys to dogs this was not good stay. two thumbs down :( Lisateave

Our stay was okay. The customer service was awesome, but the room smelled musty and the beds were slightly uncomfortable. The breakfast in the morning was good; waffles, bagels, toast, coffee, OJ, apple juice, and other various items. The pool was supposed to be heated outdoors but it was very cold when we went to swim at around 10pm. This hotel was very clean. The room had a nice set up with two doors. We could park in front of one door and the other went to the lobby of the hotel. It had a great bench to hold suitcases instead of the useless closet we never use. There was only one pillow per person and it was as flat as a pancake. The front desk staff was nice. Everything was great! The only thing I did not like were the male workers at the front desk. They were very unfriendly. Both ladies were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fine as well. Great location. It was quiet and not busy. Very easy to get to Cedar Point and Walmart to buy things we needed. Price of hotel was great too.

You definitely can't beat the price. Great service, very clean. Restaurant and lounge. Pool. Short, easy commute to and from Cedar Point.

Used it as bse for Cedar Point visit. Only about 15 minutes away. Price much cheaper for the additional 5 min drive from the park. Other than that, room was ok, breakfast ok, staff good. Nothing exceptional nor nothing bad about the stay.

The internet service is a joke, very slow, no printer available to print airline tickets. If you need the internet for business purposes dont stay here. Pool was murky looking, breakfast was terrible.

The rooms were clean, we stayed in a joining room with my sisteran her family and our room had newer carpet but the other room did not. We stayed 2 nights and went to cedar point which was about a 20 min. Drive from hotel but was a very easy drive. Overall this hotel was clean and it served its purpose, outside pool was very clean and continental breakfast […] was good. The 2 nights I stayed here were ok. The hotel and room was clean and comfortable and the free breakfast was good. The pool was nasty and looked like lake water so I did not feel comfortable using it which disappointed my kids.

The location, neighborhood and cleanliness were all OK. However, the WiFi at our end of the hotel was non-existent. We also received a call at 1 am for supposedly causing a noise disturbance when we were asleep since 9. I would think at that time of night you'd at least check to hear where the noise was coming from before disturbing someone.

We found the rooms to be clean and well maintained. We had two connected rooms. The double beds were comfortable. We are used to a queen sized bed, so that took a little getting used to. The front desk, kitchen help, and maids were all polite and professional. Thank you!

This was an excellent hotel. It was very clean, quiet and in a safe area just outside of Sandusky right off of the highway. The room was a good size with a great air conditioner. The front desk was friendly and the free breakfast was quite nice - oatmeal, cereal, bagels, waffles, toast, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee and milk. It was served in the hotel […] restaurant which means there was plenty of seating. The only negatives are the bathroom was small (but the tub was good size with good water pressure) and it is about 5 miles to any food that isn't fast food. Both of these are easy to overlook given the low price and how clean the entire hotel was. I would highly recommend this hotel. Lisateave

Worst continental breakfast I have had at similar hotels. They ran out of milk and there was no butter for the toast. I asked attendant and she offered me a stick of frozen butter (no thanks!) Other than that, it was an "okay" place to stay the night before heading off to Cedar Point.

This is a super 8, not frilly, but gets the job done. Overall, the room was simple, but nice, and pretty clean, although the bathtub and sink could have been cleaned a little better.
