Plleasant staff. Clean. Affordable. Not fancy, but just enough accomodation for a short stay

service very poor, never clean room, will no recomended, did not put coffe even that was included in price, charge extra per day for use of fridge even that they advertised room with fridge and coffe, manager not nice , room door was falling apart

it was clean they are doing maintenance ,,,painting ect for the price it was good ,but no microwave or fridge just a basic room

Great hotel for the price!! Very nice people in the hotel...workers and guests. Convenient location to where I was heading to. Plenty of parking, clean room, quiet area. I would definitely stay there again!

i recently just stayed at this hotel and it was full of bedbugs. i was there for 3 nights and each room had bedbugs. the hotel managment was rude. they only said that they'd give me a refund for one night. my clothes and shoes and bag had to be thrown out. with only one nights worth of refund, i can take my family out to lunch. this is just nonsense. […] don't come to this hotel! myself and my girlfreind spend the night and were extremely happy with the hotel..it is an older building which is modernized BUT had that old retro style feel to it from the structure standpoint..the only thing that did suck is i like to drink beer and the only local store open at night basically used that to an advantage and charged mega bux for a […] 24 oz can of beer..so be prepared if you would like to relax with a cocktail..over all exp was excellent and the price was very good for the area. I called the toll free number posted on line in order to reserve a room. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, the system hung up on me. Fortunately, in the time I was on hold, I was able to reserve a room on hotels.com. When I arrived, there was hair on the sheets. I told the woman at the front desk, and she said, "The sheets weren't changed?" I said, […] "I don't know, but there is a hair on the sheets." She said, "I will give you a clean sheet." Then she said, "I will tell housekeeping to change the sheets." I left to go to a concert at Bethel Woods, and when I returned, guess what? The sheets were never changed! There was also hair in the shower. The location and price were great, but I was very disappointed with the cleanliness. No one said anything to us about the continental breakfast, and when we arrived the coffee, fruit and milk were gone. Bummer. Lisateave

This hotel is ok, a place to lay your head down and get some sleep. The ice machine was broken, but the staff had some in a freezer, but a bit of an inconvience. The side door from the Parking lots was propped wide open, Anyone could wander in the hotel! The door to my Room was open when i checked it. Rather strange! Good wireless! This hotel had to be the worst hotel experience I have had. A little confusion with which type of room I wanted at check in but that happens. I wasnt concerned. Got to my room and opened door. The smell was awful. Like wet rotting paper bag and old socks. I could not close my door. The hinges were so bent I had to lift it up and to the side to close […] it. the room was filthy. I did not take my flipflops off at any point during my stay, including in the shower. I was disgusted to find hair and little black flakes on the sheets of my bed. I slept on top of the comforter and used a sweater I had brought as my pillow. The sliding door to the outside had no lock. It had a bar made of aluminium - I could bend it easily. After a sleepless night I just wanted a shower and to get out of there. I realized that I had to conditioners in the bathroom and no shampoo. Went to front desk for some. The owner and an employee were too busy fighting to assist. Look. I know some people are way too sensitive to little things at hotels and I always take reviews with a grain of salt. This place was so dirty, and smelly I cant begin to describe it properly. It was down right scary. Everyone at the hotel was commenting on it. Dont stay here - bottom line. Lisateave

We looked for a place near remote Callicoon NY, and found we had very few choices. While the reviews for the Howard Johnson's were mixed the most recent ones were good so we took a chance. The room was comfortable and clean and afforded us a good night's sleep. The continental breakfast was enough to get us on the road in the morning, and the motel […] was extremely convenient to the highway. The staff was courteous and helpful. Is the diner around the corner, the Liberty Diner and Restaurant. The motel was just ok, and even though it boasts "free breakfast," it was not even worth that price. The rooms were not ready at 4:00 when we got there, and even though we had reservations (as I'm sure most of the other guests did) we waited in line for more than 20 minutes to check in! […] You would think they would be prepared to check in a bunch of people at that hour. Even though there were employees walking around the office area, they didn't help until finally after we waited 15 minutes, one woman came ambling out and helped us. Come on! When a business gets swamped, it's time to crank up the speed! Lisateave

Stayed here with some friends after a concert at Bethel Woods. The room was clean (no bugs, thank goodness!). The only complaint I had was the bathroom door hinge was loose, and the door had to be lifted a bit to close.

This hotel had old hard towels ,hair in the bath tub ,cracking plaster on bathroom ceiling, musty smoky smell hallways,side door was broke no entry with hotel key and would not open.,blankets frayed and the people were note polite.

This ploace was a DUMP and very high priced for the quality.

After reading all the reviews on line we were very worried what we would find when we got there. Well to our surprise the staff was so friendly & the room was clean & no problems!!!! Would stay there again!

This was a nasty place to stay but there wasn't anywhere else for miles. Rusty bath and sink water, dead bolt didn't work, the sink did not drain because the plug wasn't connected to anything, the place smelled, the sheets were wrinkled and dirty, and everywhere you looked there were gaps and cocoons of some insects, my tv was Black and White, not a […] color tv or HBO as advertised. The manager told me that when she made a "courtesy call" to my room to see if everything was okay she "didn't want any complaints, it is just a courtesy". Sleeping in my car would have made more sense but they billed my AmEx the day I made the reservation. Lisateave

FILTHY< FILTHY< FILTHY! That says it all! Not to mention it is run by absolute MORONS! I booked 4 non-smoking rooms with children in them, and was given 4 smoking rooms, which I was forced to take since they charged my card in full 2 days before I arrived! It wouldn't matter though since the hotel reeks of smoke and body odor! There was a hole the size […] of a baseball in my shower with a steady stream of water from the bathroom above pouring out of it onto you as you tried to bathe YUK! This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have been to third world countries! Lisateave

The hotel was VERY run down and not clean at all. The bathroom counters weren't wiped down, the carpet had not been vacuumed, and in general it smelled. The shower knob fell off when we tried to use the shower and when the water did come on it was brown until we let it run for a while. If there is no other place to stay, I guess its better then sleeping in the car. The hotel smells, it looks dirty on the inside, the door to our room was difficult to close.

We stayed here for one night during Camp Shane parent visiting weekend. The hotel was fine. The room was very clean and the continental breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. No problems.

Hotel is extremelly dirty, sheets had food, hair and it was extremelly dirty. When we asked if they could change the sheets, they told us they were too tired and would not do it. We staryed 3 nights and not once did they change the sheets or towels. We slept on top of the covers fully dressed. Worse place ever.

Very reasonable driving distance from Bethel Woods.

This hotel "is what it is," as they say: for the price and for the little time we actually spent there, the hotel satisfied our requirements. We stayed over to see a show at Bethel Woods, so the location was convenient and there is a diner within walking distance. The hotel was undergoing renovations and was a little shabby, but it provided a clean […] room, a somewhat comfortable bed and hot shower, which really was all we needed. Lisateave
