Exedra, A Boscolo Luxury Hotel - Rooma

From the location to the service this is the hotel you need to visit. I am a hotel snob. This met all my expectations and more! Trust me on this one you won't go wrong with this hotel. Room 218 is exceptional.

This was a very beautiful hotel. The staff was courteous and friendly, and the room was nice. Even though it was a bit on the high side as far as price, when I reviewed surrounding hotels they were definitely a step down. We stayed here two nights and found it to be a wonderful base from which to explore Rome. It is very close to the train station, though a little bit of a walk to the historical sites that you'll want to visit. We are big walkers, though, and so didn't mind that too much. The rooms were large and extremely clean, with all the amenities a business traveler could want. Unlike other hotels we stayed at, breakfast is not included and is pricey! We stayed here out of pure convenience as the transfer to our cruise was departing from here (apparently transport from Rome to Civitavecchia is quite pricey), versus staying elsewhere then scrambling to get to the Exedra just to hop on a bus. The hotel itself is gorgeous and stately, the room pretty simple. We, or course, were at the end of a VERY […] long hallway, which contrary to the design of the rest of the building looked like a rustic cabin. There was a balcony with a roughly 10 foot high wall (ie NO view). The views from the rooftop pool and lounge areas were great, but sometimes its nice to gaze out from the comfort of your own room. Located close to the Termini station, and you can get yourself anywhere is town from there since its the transportation hub; however, the streets in between the hotel and the station can be a bit seedy. Nothing terrible to complain about, but there are TONS of hotels in Rome, and your money might be better spent elsewhere. Lisateave

We had a wonderful stay in the Exedra. The hotel was beautiful, our Junior Suite was amazing with a lovely view, the staff so polite and helpful. It is a short walk from the train station and we were able to walk to all the main attractions in Rome. Just perfect.

We arrived to the Exedra in Rome and found a great hotel not the usual European style but an old world class hotel the room was large and the bathroom large and comfortable, looking forward to coming back to stay at the Exedra

The hotel itself was lovely, nicely decorated. But there are are a few things that let it down, that could maybe be reviewed in the prices, on the website the Boscolo company boasts of a luxury roof top swimming pool, and although it is lovely, it is far to small for a hotel of that size, the position of the pool is directly infront of a restaurant […] area, which can be very off putting when trying to have a quiet swim... the sauna is also not included in room rates which i found misleading. we had to pre book the facility for that day, which was abit of a pain. our room was a standard, which again i feel for the price should have been luxourios, which it was again well decorated, but alot of scuffs and marks of the furniture and walls, and the room is alot smaller than it looks in the internet website, the bathroom very very tiny! And the bath was very narrow and short. On the plus very clean, fairly good location, though ive stayed in better four star hotels for the money! Lisateave

this hotel is at a prime location, walking distance from Roma Terimi ( main train station ) about 40 min from FCO ( air port ) very nice and clean, little expensive but worth the price if you want to stay in a clean up scale hotel, close to all the attrations in rome. Overall I thought it was a great hotel, but not necessarily great for families. Pro: The rooms were spectacular with high ceilings and excellent furnishings. Great water and air conditioning. We booked two tours of Rome through the concierge and they went off perfectly. I would highly recommend them. From a physical setting it was everything you would […] expect from a 5 star. Cons: Service can be spotty. Upon check in they had us booked in 3 rooms with one on a different floor (that doesn't work with 4 kids). They finally got us onto one floor, but not as close as I would have preferred. I asked the concierge for a recommendation for a very nice restaurant that my wife and I could go out to and have a romantic evening and they sent me 25 minutes away to a hole in the wall cafeteria type restaurant with bars surrounding the area and not a person over the age of 25. I past that milestone too long ago. Even the cab driver asked if we were sure this was where we wanted to go. TV sometimes could not change stations and would randomly turn off. They had a note telling us that they were installing a new system and were working through issues. We tried to rent a movie for the kids and after 10 minutes with no success called for help. They told us it was not available and they may be able to get us a DVD player. 15 minutes later we did not hear anything so we called back. They told us they would look into it right away and call us back. They never called back. Also, we ordered from room service and they called back 15 minutes later to tell us they did not have any pizza available (we had also ordered hamburgers). We cancelled the pizza and got McDonalds next door for the kids, but kept the hamburger order. They misunderstood and cancelled the whole order which we found out 40 minutes later. On our last day we went to the rooftop pool (opens at 10am) and saw a lifeguard behind the locked doors at 10am. They finally opened the doors at 10:30am. Price: Brutally expensive. We ha Lisateave

Let me count the ways: 1) Convenient location 2) Excellent Concierge 3) Luxurious Accomodations 4) Brilliant Value! In short, Hotel Exedra is EVERYTHING and more we could ever want in a hotel. WE LOVED IT, and it made our vacation in Rome perfecto!!!

My wife and I enjoy very much in ROME and staying in Exedra, A Boscolo Luxury Hotel was definitely one of the reasons!!!

We stayed at Exedra for 5 nights in Rome. While we were very pleased with the looks and location of the hotel, there was nothing else that was worth the price. It was rather overpriced, and didn't provide adequate amenities that justify the price. I'm sure neighboring hotels offer more (as in B&B, so on) for a similar price. In all honesty, a place […] like this is more for the purpose of conducting business meetings and such, than it is a place for couples to getaway. Lisateave

Don't get me wrong. That's about my only criticism of this hotel. It's comfortable and the room was quiet and clean. The location is convenient, right at the entrance to a metro stop. The staff were helpful. I'd recommend you spring for the rate that includes breakfast, otherwise it can get pricey.

I liked everything about our stay @ this hotel. It was centrally located, the accomodations were 1st rate and the staff were very helpful & accommodating.

The hotel is lovely, the location is good, and the staff is most gracious. Our romm was spacious and comfortable.

Larger rooms than most European rooms. A true king size bed. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Very satisfied with the star of several days.

エクセドラでスーペリアを予約して、フィレンツェからローマへ出発しました。ラグジャリーホテルで、行く前にかなり期待していましたが、ホテルの案内人に部屋に連れて行かれたら、まさかの牢屋のような、真っ暗で小さなベランダに三面に高い壁に囲まれた部屋でした。ロビーから部屋まで行くのに、1人ででは絶対に見つからないような裏部屋で、部屋に入ったら、まさに天井は斜面になっている屋根裏部屋でした。部屋は広いのに、ライトが少なくて、ベランダが完全に囲まれてるので、うつ病になりそうな暗い部屋でした。イタリア3都市とフランス1都市の旅行の中で、五つ星なのに、まさかの最悪の部屋でした。部屋を変えてもらおうとして、何度も交渉しましたが、フルブッキングでどうしても変えてくれませんでした。幸いに、地下鉄の駅前で利便性が抜群 […] でしたので、2泊だけだったので、我慢しました。このようなランクの高いホテルは、その中の一番安い部屋とは言え(とは言ってもそこまで安くはない...)もう少し顧客の気持ちを考える必要性があるのでは？今回の旅行で最悪の思い出になり、がっかりです。 Lisateave

el servicio es muy amable. el hotel tiene la parada de metro a la misma puerta y la otra linea de metro a 4 min andando. las habitaciones amplias, limpias y muy comodas.

Hotellet, ansatte og atmosfæren generelt var helt i toppsjiktet. En av de bedre overnattingene i det siste. Eneste minus: frokost... Gikk for det meste i eggerøre og jordbær, resten var tørt, smakløst eller aaaaaaalt for søtt. Men for all del, verdt et opphold. En bedre frokost får man uansett til en mye billigere penge på noen av Romas 1000 restauranter, […] snacks barer eller hvilket så helst gatehjørne. Lisateave

Excelente Hotel. Bien ubicado, excelente atención. Solo un inconveniente: la temperatura de la habitación demasiado caliente y no hay un termostato para graduarla. Por lo demas, lo recomiendo.

Service war gut, bis auf dem Umgang mit meiner Reklamation bzgl. dem Silvester-Menü. Preislich teuer, wobei ich damit kein Problem habe, wenn es wirklich gut ist. Für die mangelhafte Küchenleistung war es aber leider in keiner Relation zu sehen, Garnelen waren mehlig, also alte oder unsachgemäß eingefrorene oder falsches Öl... weis ich.. Schade war […] nur, dass bei seches Gängen zwei davon mit Garnelen waren, die Jakobsmuscheln vom Zwischengang total über den Punkt waren und das Tuhnfisch-Tatar leider kein Geschmack hatte und auch schon die Frische verloren hatte. Als ich am Abend kurz angemerkt habe, dass war leider nichts... keine Reaktion. Am Abreisetag habe ich die Reklamation an der Rezeption angegeben ... sonst war alles super... aber dafür war ich nicht bereit über einen mittleren dreistelligen Betrag zu zahlen. Dann wurde zwar meine Reklamtion nachgeganen, aber obwohl wir die Teller dann zum Teil zurück gehen lassen haben, wurde uns kein Entgegenkommen oder auch die Reklamation angenommen. Tut mir nicht weh, ärgern tut es mich, dass man uns nicht mal eine ordentliche Begründung hat geben können. Nur wir werden hier kein Entgegenkommen zeigen... fertig! Ist etwas typisch für die Art von Hotel ... Fehler passieren überall und sind absolut menschlich aber der Umgang damit ist entscheidend. Lisateave

신혼여행 갔다왔어요~~좋은 조건으로 가격 나와있길래 이 호텔 선택했는데 처음에 신랑이 긴가민가 하더라구요..진짜 괜찮냐구.. 막상 갔는데 위치부터 환상적이더군요..로마에서 중심에 위치한 테르메닌역에서 도보로 오분..어느 관광지를 가도 호텔이 로마중심에 있어서 멀지않고 교통편도 워낙 많아서 다니기 너무 편했구요, 디럭스 룸이였는데 호텔 방 엄청 크더라구요..들어가자마자 와...유럽 호텔 보통 작다고들 많이 하는데 여긴 한국 오성급 호텔보다 훨씬 크고 인테리어 너무 고급!! 화장실도 크고 세면대 두개에 욕실 샤워부스 화장실 다 따로 있더라구요..화장실이 일본 삼성급 호텔 방보다 크더라는..ㅋㅋ 전망도 너무 멋지고.. 일단 […] 호텔 건물 자체가 예술이에요..아~~서비스도 환상이고 정말 너무너무 후회없는 선택이였어요!! 신랑도 너무 선택 잘 했다고 계속 칭찬 연발...^^ 여행 좋아하구 좋은호텔도 많이 다녀봤는데 시내에 위치했던 호텔들 중에 넘버원투로 꼽고 싶네요..ㅎㅎ 주변사람들 로마간다면 이 호텔 추천할거구요..다음에 또 로마가면 무조건 이 호텔로 잡을거예요!! 너무너무 만족스러운 호텔이였습니다~!! Hotel grande , mas localização não e muito agradavel . FIca longe dos principais pontos turisticos de Roma. As instalações são boas , serviço também é bom. Hotel grandes instalações;

Wonderful hotel, good service but breakfast was way too expensive. 35 euros per person. The pool was not as good as expected. Otherwise everything was excellent!

한국에서 허니문을 로마로 다녀왔습니다. 한인 민박보다는 돈이 들더라도 좋은 호텔에서 묶고자 이 곳에서 3박을 하였습니다(3nights). 전체적으로 깨끗하고 깔끔했으며 특히 호텔 바로앞에 지하철이 있어 로마 여행시 이동하는데 불편함이 없었습니다. 다만 조식이 안된다는점(그리고 비싸다는점)이 단점 정도겠구요 나머지는 다 만족스럽습니다.

É mesmo muito bom em todos os aspectos...e eu sou um cliente exigente... Excelent hotel...trust me, I am a very demanding customer. My wife always complains everywhere. We met some hotel general managers for that in different locations...but here she couldn't find one single reason... ;)

ホテルの雰囲気も、設備も、立地も文句ありません。客室も階高が通常よりもあって、ローマ帝国のスケールを感じれるほどよかったです。ただ、フロントのスタッフの無愛想な態度は頂けないものがあります。（イタリアの他の高級ホテルでは受けたことのないような態度でした）

とても清潔感のある、広々とした素晴らしいお部屋でした。ホテルからはすぐに地下鉄もあり便利な場所です。美味しいレストランも徒歩圏でたくさんありました。

Flott hotell midt i Roma. Gå avstand til de fleste severdigheter. Svømmebasseng på taket var deilig å benytte i sommervarmen! Frokost kostet ekstra; 25Euro pr. Pers. Finnes billigere alternativet utenfor hotellet!

Et fantastisk hotell! Litt dårlig inntrykk av resepsjonen og service. Man bør ikke måtte ringe 5 ganger i løpet av 12 timeg for å få åpnet en minibar. Itillegg var isbitmaskinene i alle etasjer ødelagte, men ikke merket om at de skulle løse problemet. Synd at det flotte takbassengett stenger kl 18.00

Fantastiskt. Vi bokade ett lite större rum och det var otroligt. Jättetrevlig personal. bra information om restauranger, butiker och barer från concierge desken. Rekommenderas absolut om man vill bo på ett topphotell.
