The staff is so warm and welcoming, the hotel is right off the beach and they have deals with the local restaurants and beach chair outfits to allow you to lounge on the beach or charge food/drinks to your room. 2 min walk to great restaurants in the central plaza of the Orient bay neighborhood. We loved our week at the Le Grand Bleu. The location next to the beach can't be beaten. The furniture is a bit dated, but it is really nice to stay in a hotel room with a kitchenette. The owners are nice and helped us book some other activities on the Dutch side of the island. There was one night that the hotel didn't have water, but the owner refunded […] the cost for the night. The wife and I loved our stay. The staff was very friendly and the location to Orient Beach was awesome. We will stay here again.

The place is nice the people are helpful - and this beach is right out the back door.

We researched for weeks and read most of Trip Advisors reviews on the hotels in St. Martin and was very happy we chose Le Grand Bleu. It was the perfect location for my husband and I, and our 2yr old son. We were 1min walk to the popular Orient Beach and few mins walk to the Orient Village, where there is a bakery, grocery store and many great restaurants. […] We rented a car and drove around the island. The popluar US supermarket, which sold everything you could think of "made in France", was only a few mins drive away. We visited Grand Case, Marigot and Oyster Pond, and although we loved the areas, we were very pleased we chose to stay at Le Grand Bleu, Orient Bay. Sylvia and Gerard were very friendly and helpful, and made our stay perfect! Our room was on the ground floor and we loved it! It was spacious, clean, had lots of storage space and the kitchenette was perfect for us! We absolutely loved it and are definitely returning! Lisateave

Stayed for three days prior to a sailing charter. The hotel is very close to the beach (2 minute walk). There are several restaurants nearby (5 minute walk). Felt very safe walking around the area. The rooms are large, nice and clean. The staff was friendly especially Gerard who was very helpful. If you need a taxi reserve in advance.

A good value for staying on Orient Beach. New owner and management are working on renovations. Furniture could be upgraded, but for a beach hotel, this is really good: close walk to the beach, top rooms have view. Very quiet and peaceful, except when the bars on the beach have music going at night. Hope to return again soon.

If you are looking for an all-inclusive gated property with lots of services, you won't be happy at Caraibes Beach. But if you looking for a simple, clean, quiet, large hotel room within 75m of a great beach and within 200m of several good or better restaurants, this is the place. Important to like (as we did) having a kitchenette for in-room (on-balcony!) […] breakfasts and the occasional lunch or dinner, as Caraibe itself does not have a restaurant. Basic groceries are a short walk away. Two tips: pay the premium for a top (3rd) floor room (the view is terrific), and rent a car for easy access to restaurants, grocery stores and beaches elsewhere (nothing is more than 25 minutes away ... Grand Case is 10 minutes away). We had a great stay ... thank you Caraibes Beach. Lisateave

Hotel was clean, room was comfortable, hotel is no-frills, but is close to the beach w/ about a 100 yd walk to the beautiful sugar-fine sand & great swimming & body-surfing. Kitchenette was sufficient. Staff were friendly & helpful. Plenty to do & see close by, close to some fantastic restaurants esp in Grand Case & Marigot. Would recommend it to people […] who don't care about all the frills & fuss of a high-class resort, this hotel is reasonably priced for the amenities it offers, was sufficient for what little time we spent in our room as we did a lot of exploring of the island. отель хороший, мы отдыхали в конце декабря начале января. этот отель идеально подойдет тем кто любит хороший пляжный отдых! хорошие бич клабы, рестораны, особенно рекомендую палм бич, бикини бич,и конечно же уайкики!!! там самые веселые тусовки хорошая музыка, кухня, много "золотой молодежи"! пляж ориент очень красивый! наверное самый красивый на острове! […] если вы любите кайт серф, это самое лучшее место!!! все дают на прокат и обучают!! в отеле очень дружелюбный персонал !! устроили вечеринку в честь новых гостей) и исполняли любое желание: от заказа туров на сан барт и ангилу, до советов хороших ресторанов и бутиков! мы брали делюкс, нам очень понравился! просторный номер с кухней и терассой с видом на море) ! а так же отдельная благодарность нotels.com за быстрое бронирование - отличный сервис!!! LE GRAND BLEU anciennement dénommé CAP CARAIBES (c'est important de la signaler car beaucoup de gens du coin ne le connaissent pas sous sa nouvelle dénomination et sont incapables de vous dire où il se trouve alors que vous en êtes à 2 pas). Nouveau Gérant depuis quelques mois, très sympas et plein de projets. Très bon Hôtel à recommander sans hésiter. Très […] grande chambre très propre, avec cuisine. A 50 mètres à peine de la grande plage d'ORIENT BAY. Nombreux restaurants à côté mais pas à l'Hôtel. Non il ne s'agit pas d'une PUB, quand on est satisfait il faut le dire. Lisateave
