Everything was perfect. Heat & a/c could be controlled in each room of the suite within degrees. Exceptional service from conceirge/front desk.

We booked this hotel for a long weekend Birthday trip. As it was a special occasion we wanted a special hotel and Il Palazzo Bauer exceeded our expectations! We were upgraded on arrival to a room with a view over the grand canal and the small canal leading to the hotel - very atmospheric! A complimentary bottle of prosecco was delivered to us on arrival […] - completely unexpected - we had made no mention of the birthday, so a really nice touch.The room was beautifully furnished with an ornate red and gold silk fabric theme. Very spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath and a separate rain head shower. Service was excellent too - the receptionist accompanied us to the room to explain all aspects of it which was very helpful. During our stay the concierge helpfully and efficiently made dinner reservations and recommended a restaurant too which was excellent. We'd definitely go back! One tip - if you have the choice, stay in the old Palazzo part of the hotel rather than the more modern part as the building feels so authentic. Lisateave

Arrived late midnight. Very professional and welcoming night receptionist. Room had a view as booked but view onto a crane and covered building under renovation next to the hotel. also not as quiet as we thought it was in the night. Breakfast on rooftop breathtaking views and wonderful. breakfast itself not 5 star , rooms clean. good service.

The staff and service was excellent. Lovely to have crisp linen sheets every night. Wonderful to sit on the balcony enjoying a fabulous meal looking out onto the Grand Canal with gondolas bobbing up and down in front of the hotel.

Upgraded to junior suite decorated in sumptuous yellow silk with gorgeous rooftop views. At night they will even offer to change the curtains to drapes to keep the lights out. Has private dock and restaurant has excellent views of the Grand Canal and the Santa Maria di Salute. Breakfast spread great but not inexpensive, again with views of the city. Spa is 1 5 minute boat ride to a different island. Designer stores around hotel. 5 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. Minor complaint: need to take 3 elevators to get to the 8th floor, the highest floor on hotel. Lisateave

Great location - overlooking the Grand Canal and right next to Piazza San Marco; very attentive and helpful staff. Hotel in need of some updating and better use of the beautiful spaces they have.

very expensive for what it is, average and dated inside, nothing special at all ; unless you have a room with the view of the canal, no point staying on the grand canal - stay anywhere in san marco off the canal and you will pay half the price

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bauer Il Palazzo. We took a water taxi from the airport directly to the hotel private jetty. The room wasn't ready when we arrived so we left our bags and took a stroll in the surrounding neighbourhood. When we returned at 3pm, our room was ready (deluxe suite) and it was FANTASTIC. We loved it. Very oppulent, furnished […] with antiques and a huge comfy bed with real linen (not plain old cottton) sheets. Apart from the room, the breakfast is probably the highlight - the staff up there are AMAZING and the view is the best in the whole city. Don't miss breakfast! The concierge was very helpful - recommending a classical music concert as well as advice on selecting a gondala ride - pretty standard questions but I got the impression he would have been able to advise on much more challenging enquiries. We would definately recommend this hotel to friends who want to splash out. Everything in Venice is expensive - so, be prepared - splash out and don't get hung up about it - it's a unique city and we would make another trip to explore further. And we'd stay at Il Palazzo again. Lisateave

I decided to splurge on this trip to Venice. Staying at the Bauer Il Pallazo was a dream come true. The service was impecable and the room was a dream. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking Salute was amazing.

ホテルの入り口がわかりにくかった。 バウアーホテルの方に尋ねるのがイイかも。同系列なのですが、ホテルの入り口が異なるとのこと。裏手の路地から入ります。ロケーションは、サンマルコ広場から近いので、便利です。ホテルの部屋は、思ったより古くて、狭いです。良かったのは、窓からの景色と朝食、あとサンマルコ広場から近いってとこでしょう。

9/18から3日間の滞在で利用しました。 最初はバウアーの受付に行ってしまい、ちょうどチェックアウトの人々と重なったこともあり待たされてしまいましたが、パラッツォ予約だと分かると丁寧に案内してくれました。 新婚旅行ということもあり奮発してスイートにしましたが、大運河を眺めるにはベランダを5メートル程歩く必要がありました。ただ、朝早くからのバポレットの音を気にする必要も無く快適だったと思います。 とにかく朝ごはんには満足しました。典型的なブッフェですが、味も良く、屋上のテラスも快適でした。(鳩はハエは多少来るので、嫌なら室内でも可） サービスは十分に満足できるレベルと思います（日本の判断基準とは違います） 立地もサンマルコに近く、バポレット乗り場、買い物、観光、食事と便利だと思います。

Sehr altes und traditionsbewusstes Haus. Gute Lage direkt neben dem Markus-Platz. Eigene Anlagestelle für die (hoffnungslos überteuerten) Wassertaxis.Wir hatten ein Deluxe-Zimmer. Würden gerne wissen, wie das Standard Zimmer ausgestattet ist. Aussicht nur auf einen kleinen Innenhof. Daher immer dukel im Ziummer. Man muss erst das Hotel verlassen, um […] zu wissen, wie das Wetter ist. Kein Schminkspiegel im Badezimmer. Nur Wanne, keine Dusche. Bett und sonstige Ausstattung ok. Alles eben plüschig und nicht jdermanns Geschmack. Frühstück auf der Terasse. Blick sensationell. Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken eher mittelmässig. Personal nicht sonderlich freundlich, wen man kein Dauergast oder VIP ist. Restaurant nicht besucht. Zu teuer! Bei der Abreise hatte man nicht einmal Zeit Ciao zu sagen, so war der Mann am Empfang mit seinem Telefonat beschäftigt. Aufenthalt allenfalls ok. Aber eben nicht mehr. Lisateave

2 bémols à notre satisfaction : la chambre donnait sur une cour intérieur (mais on a eu droit à une peinture trompe l'oeil ....) vu le prix, décue de la chambre surtout que l'hotel n'avait pas du tout l'air d'être plein ... et il faut "réserver" le spa au moins une heure avant pour qu'ils le montent en température ... pas normal pour un hotel de luxe […] ! le plus : le p'tit déjeuner au 7ème étage de l'hotel avec vue sur les toits de Venise et la situation même de l'hotel ... à 3 mn de la Place San Marco sans les nuisances ...
