This Hotel is in an excellent location to explore the old part of Zurich. Everything is within walking distance, and it is about 2 blocks from the Zurich HB train station. The room is a little small, but very nice and had a great view of the streets below.

It's a nice and small hotel, 10 minutes walk from Zurich HB station. It's next to the tram, but nobody takes a tram to and from airport. Rooms are typically small but not bad enough that you can't open the luggage. Receptionist was helpful, and even would warn us if we wanted to go out on possible rainy days. You can't get a better location than this, it's just minutes from the main train station by foot; and it's close to everything. The room is very very small, it's the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed at. The room is for two, but my husband and I can't open both of our suitcases in there, that's how small it is. The hotel is in a convenient location - fairly close to Zurich HB. It is a good choice for a short business trip. My room was slightly small, though comfortable. Staff were friendly and pleasant.

What we liked about the hotel the most was that it was close to the train station. The Major problem with the hotel location was that it was also in the RED LIGHT DISTRICT. Less than a block from the hotel we noted 6-8 ladies of the evening trying to earn a living. Poor idea for families or children. Makes you wonder. The room was too small witn not […] enough space for your luggage. The room was basically clean and neat but very small and cramped. Typical european hotel room. An interesting place Zurich and this hotel is iin an excellent spot to walk to and from so take adventage. This was an awkward place to drive to and park at, so would almost suggest don't have a car but on the other hand a good hike to the rail station with bags. Almost seedy up the road later in the evening, but adds to the interest. Enjoyed walking […] through the city and lake and many sites nearby. Didn't find a supermarket but no big deal. The breakfast was sparse but adequate, even though couldn't say the same for the room. Had two rooms as we were a family of four, and both rooms had limited space and struggled to have two suitcases open at the same time. Some might find a shower a struggle if a larger person as I am 185cm and 80kg and this was fun we will say to be kind. Breakfast was limited but sufficed. Really quite expensive meal if you need to eat up big as it is not set up to easily help yourself. Would not recommend to families as such because couldnt really have a family room and we were placed on separate floors. Parking awkward, and almost impossible to get to, accessed by a one way side street as no parking possible on main road. Our rooms were on the main road side and this could be disturbing if you are sleeping lightly. Comfortable enough and the lifts ok unless your luggage is large as a bit squishy. Looked recently renovated in the photos but quite clever use of angles. Not disappointed overall due to walking distance to sites. Hard to find good accommodation in this city I wold imagine (spent many hours cross referencing sites and maps) where you feel you get value for money. My kids seem to enjoy this city as did we so worth the issues. Three star rating pretty accurate reflection. Lisateave

There was a tram number 3 that took us in front of train station. I wish we knew that so we didn't have to drag our suitcases to the hotel in the rain.

I was given a nice clean room, not a luxury, but fair and comfortable enough for my needs. By the way, from my room I heard no external noise at all. Considering price and location, this was a real bargain, especially if one compares with the expensive prices practiced in Zurich. The Hotel hostess and service personnel were very attentive. Breakfast […] was fair and sufficient. I could not have choosen a better option for my one night stay in Zurich. The hotel location, close to the main train and metro station, is on a very central place and in walking distance to almost everything that matters downtown. This allowed me to have time to tour the city, taking advantage of my short stay in the city. I would certainly recommend this hotel to any person with similar needs and time schedule. Lisateave

We found this hotel to be very convenient - five minute walk to Train Station and near many tram lines. The room was very small but contained two twin beds together, good storage space and very nice bathroom with bath and shower. The staff which seemed to be mostly female were very helpful with directions, storing bags until room was ready and making […] restaurant reservations. It was very warm while we were in Zurich and they supplied a fan for our room. Definately good value for the money in this very expensive country, Lisateave

This hotel was great for us as we were arriving from the train station and taking off from the train station the next day. It is about 10 minutes walk from there. It is also so close to the old town and the river. The staff were helpful. It is a bit noisy on the tram side - but it is generally quiet at night.

Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. The only thing I warn about is the viewpoint the photos are taken from on this site. The entrance in the photo looks huge right? I laughed out loud when I say the actual entrance, not quite the grandure I had built myself up for. Think about the size of a large glass elevator is the actual size, now rescale […] all their photos in your head! Other than that really well situated for getting to the old town. Lisateave

The service at this hotel was great. Super friendly staff and very helpful. Unfortunately the staff can't help that: - The rooms are extremely small - The rooms are very noisy due to tram and traffic. Also the pillows where extremely uncomfortable. We got new pillows, but they were also very flat and gave no support at all.

This is a wonderful little hotel. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The location is ideal, very close to the station and all the shops and the old town. It was clean and bright more than we expected for a 3 star, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very boring and uninteresting. Many new branded hotels looks more boutique than this one. No WiFi in the room.

If you are going to spend time in Zurich - particularly in the old town area - the location is very good - walking distance from the train station and everything in old town. The room we had was very small - almost no room to walk around the bed (made placement of our luggage an issue). This said, we are talking about a European hotel room in an older […] boutique hotel so you shouldn't be too surprised. The bathroom was a decent size (again, considering where you are). Pros - The hotel was close to the main train station - an easy 5-10 minute walk on main streets. The afternoon desk clerk on duty was very helpful upon our arrival. It was close to the old town and they had audio tours available for use. A good place to stay for a short duration especially if travelling on trains. Cons - The room was very small, even […] when compared to other Swiss hotels that we stayed in. We stayed on the main street side of the hotel which was very noisy with street noise especially with the windows open (which was necessary d to the temperature outside). Evening desk clerk was on a personal phone call when we came in later in the evening and did not stop the conversation to greet us even though we stood at the desk for about 5 minutes. Lisateave

The hotel location is fabulous - just about 200 meters from the Central tram stop and near the hauptbanhhof. Lots of little eateries to choose from. Front desk folks very friendly and helpful. The only really annoying thing was that for the four nights I was there, there was a heat wave in switzerland and the hotel turned on the air conditioning only […] for one night. The hotel is centrally located near wonderful shopping areas and has easy access to buses, trains and all modes of transportation. Plenty of sights to see within walking distance with a large variety of restaurants along the way.

This hotel stay was one of the best I have ever had. The hotel is in pristine condition and sparkling clean. the hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The location could not be more convenient. Not only is it close to the main sights, but it is steps away from the Main Railway Station and there is an excellent grocery about a block away. The rooms […] and the bathrooms are large for Europe. This hotel is located a couple of blocks from the main train station and a short walk to the Old Town and Waterfront. The surrounding neighborhood is lively and interesting as it is close to the University but far enough away from the noisy streets. We had a great time here, our first stop on our Switzerland honeymoon. Convenient to train station and all other trains in town, and easy to walk from. Helpful staff.

Je ne reviendrai pas à cause du bruit, car javais une chambre sur le boulevard et je n'ai pas pu changer.

Ottima sistemazione, molto accogliente e pulita, in linea con le aspettative per un albergo in Svizzera. Personale molto gentile, preciso e veloce. Per chi arriva in auto un po' difficile parcheggiare.

Es la segunda vez que me quedo en este hotel, se mantiene excelente, con buenos desayunos y gente muy amable. La ubicación es muy buena, está a pocos metros de la estación de tren y al lado de una de las calles con excelentes restaurantes.

siamo stati una sera perche il giorno dopo continuavamo il viaggio verso Roma, quindi eravamo vicini alla stazione e vicinissimi al centro anche, nel pomeriggio siamo riusciti a fare un bel giretto in centro e cena nei dintorni.

Hotel du Theatre Brysselissä - yksi yö ja kaikki tarpeellinen aivan nurkan takana. Lähellä niin päärautatieasema (tarpeellinen kun tulee lentokentältä ja jos aikoo Sveitsissä junailla) kuin nähtävyydet ja ostosmahdollisuudetkin. Aamiainen viihtyisässä pienessä ravintolatilassa isojen ikkunoiden äärellä miellyttävä avaus päivälle.
