"Clean, no frills, fine for 1 night stay"
Hotel was clean, right off freeway and had a decent breakfast (waffle, donuts, bagels, juice, cereal, fruit). Room was a bit small, but had a microwave/fridge and blow dryer.

We didn't pay much, so we weren't expecting much. It was surprisingly nice. Clean rooms, nice staff and pretty nice breakfast. Easy on/off interstate. Only complaint was thin walls, which is about every hotel.

A great deal for the price and close location to Brian Head and all the national parks. Room was nothing nice or fancy but was clean and standard (not too cheap). Staff was nice. No complaints

We've been staying at this hotel on our way to see family since it has opened. It is showing its age. Needs overall updates. Cheap, though.

"Very basic and average - good for one night stop"
The hotel is offering very basic service among the Super8, but the room was clean and no smoke smell, blanket and sheets are very basic. Included breakfast is also simple cup of juice or coffee and a muffin. The staff was friendly. Would compare service to Motel6, a bit below expectations.

"It is what it is"
Pluses: Fridge in room, easy on/off highway location, family owned, nice smelling soap, waffles for breakfast Cons: Lots of confusion in finding my reservation since address shows hotels.com and that it was already paid in full, room had an off smell (like they tried to clean the carpets but it didn't dry out well), no eggs for breakfast or yoghurt. There was a mix-up in my reservation and the desk clerk was very kind and helpful. i would stay here again.

Traveling through southern Utah we just needed a clean, comfortable place where we could get a good night’s sleep. Good value for the price, staff was very helpful and friendly. A/C did not cool in the first room and had to change rooms to get a working A/C, but the staff took care of the room change quickly and promptly.

"Clean room -- decent accommodations"
We like the Super 8 in Cedar City as a decent stop-over when we aren't looking for luxury. Our recent stay met our expectations, with one minor exception. We had requested a non-smoking room and we got one....but the hall leading to our room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. I'm not sure how that happened, since we saw "Non-smoking Room" plaques […] on all the doors in the hallway. And I don't know if it was a one-time, short-term issue or not. We were only there one night. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay. Lisateave
"What a surprise!"
Pulled off the Interstate to a hideous looking Super 8 right beside it, fully expecting a nasty lil dump... clerk was friendly and helpful, room was actually very nice and the beds were fairly comfortable. Our room was missing the tv remote, but the clerk promptly found a replacement and brought it up to us. Only needed a room for myself, was not traveling with family--and this hotel fit the bill. The price was great, location was very convenient for everything I wanted to do. "My second stay at this hotel this summer"
Well I decided to stay at this hotel again because of the price, the good breakfast, and the well maintained property. I still think that the housekeeping needs to be quite a bit better, but it is an okay place to stay. Quiet and comfortable with the doors to the rooms on an inside corridor for extra security. The check in clerk was hard to get a hold of and wouldn't answer the phone.

The young woman at the desk was very nice and helpful. The hotel is adequate enough for one night's stay and was a good price but I definitely was hesitant in walking barefoot in the room. My boyfriend said he was bitten by bugs although I can't say for sure if they were bed bugs or not. I got bit once.

"Pretty Bad"
I rely heavily on other reviews when choosing a hotel. Cedar City was pretty busy this weekend so my choices were limited. Knowing we would be arriving late and leaving early, I didn't care about how many stars this hotel could claim or that it was roomy - only wanted something clean. This place was disgusting. The carpet had stains everywhere. There […] were long black hairs in the bed and pajamas on the back of the bathroom door from the previous guest. I almost threw up when I closed the shower curtain, the smell of mildew was overwhelming and when I unfolded the wash cloth, there was something unmentionable in it. So gross. I told my son that I thought there was a dead spider on the headboard of his bed. He looked closely then declared that it was a withered up booger from someone's nose. I can look past the pathetic breakfast selection and the small rooms but this place has a long way to go to achieve "clean". Spend the extra $30-$40 for something decent elsewhere. Lisateave

dirty, smelly room. Smelled like urine. Shower was not cleaned after the previous guest. Long black hair stuck to the shower wall.

Clean, fridge, microwave complementary breakfast. recommended especially if you'd like to check out the museum and the great new leisure swimming center with your children.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed satifactory. The complimentary breakfast was basic, but good. We were not aware the hotel was a pet friendly hotel. There were a lot of pets there the 1 night we stayed. The hotel guests near our room on the 2nd floor were slamming their doors and making a tremendous amount of […] noise until after 1am. Maybe a notice to hotel guests to remind them to be respectful to others when usining loud voices in the hallways and slamming in and out of their doors after 10pm would be helpful to guests who need to get their sleep. Super 8 Cedar City The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The bathroom had beautiful new tile, the carpet was clean. Refrigerator. This is another example of a hotel whose owners care and work hard to keep it up, but the housekeeping staff cuts corners and the room really could have been cleaner. "Another Great Way Point on our Trip"
Room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent (with the make your own waffles which were a big hit with the kids). Check in and out was a breeze.

A nice hotel just off the freeway in Cedar City. fairly clean with a nice continental breakfast. The small refrigerator in our room was making a loud noise so we unhooked it.... as we were just staying the night (got in late, left early) we didn't complain about it but left the maid a note.

We arrived at almost midnight on a cold winter night and found a warm cozy place to spend the night. The check-in was quick, the room was nice, and the breakfast was superb. A great place to spend the night. This is the second time we have stayed overnight at this hotel, and we are never disappointed. Good job, Super 8 Cedar City!

The Motel itself was great. We didn't eat the breakfast, but recommend that guests not use the Garmin to get to the Motel. It takes you to the wrong side of town. Just get off at the exit and look for the sign.

Room was comfortable. Frig was quiet and TV had a nice picture. Bathroom vanity was small. Beds were comfortable. They didn't skimp on soap, shampoo, and coffee. Towels were thick and clean. Nice stay for 1 or 2 nights. Continental breakfast was ok, milk was kept out long, so it was not cold. Lots of donuts and bagels. Waffles were nice.
