Perfect location right in the center of the old town. Just overall a nice place.

Modern hotel in great location.

We found the Mercure to be minutes from the key sights (Dom & Rathaus) and a leisurely 12 minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof. Taxis line up across the street so you can easily reach anything in Aachen. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but not offensive either. The only down side, on a hot night, if you leave your windows open the sidewalk […] noise from partiers can be a bit disturbing, so use the AC instead. Lisateave

We stayed with 8 persons in Aken. The hotel is located in the middel of the city. The hotel was new renovated, the service very friendly. When we came for breakfast at 10 a.m. the kitchen refreshed the buffet. Top satisfying!

In middle of pedestrian shopping area and close to main historical sights.

This was an excellent hotel plus it was well placed on the periphery of the city centre pedestrian shopping area. We were very happy with the hotel facilities; very modern and clean. However, we were a little surprised at the lack of facilities that are routinely available in other hotels that we have stayed in over the years: 1- there were no tea or […] coffee-making facilities in our room, 2-TV viewing in the room had to be paid for, 3-whilst there was a restaurant in the hotel, it was only used fro breakfasts. That being said, we were only staying overnight en route for Dunkerque so it wasn't really an issue. During the evening we did a little exploring and found the centre to be quite attractive and that most of the shops were open until 8pm. We decided to visit the Dom (Cathedral) the following morning (and the DOM Treasury). We were not disappointed, both were magnificent. We didn't look at, or research, any other tourist venues. By road, you can only approach the hotel from the south because of the city one way system. When you arrive at the hotel, it is on the right hand side of the road. The sign for the hotel is not readily apparent as it is partially obscured until you are physically alongside the entrance. Immediately after driving away from the front of the hotel you must turn right into the pedestrian precinct otherwise you are into the part of the one way system which is reserved for only buses and taxis. Most embarrassing for us, we misread the street signs and did just that!! Plenty of free, secure off-the-street parking is provided by the hotel. This is down a side street opposite the hotel but can't be accessed until you have checked in - entry is remotely controlled by the Reception staff via a CCTV link. Overall, very pleasant stay but for the lack of a fresh cup of something for supper and a look at the evening news on the TV. Lisateave

Hotel is situated in the heart of Aachen. Rooms are nicely equipped. We did not takre breakfast as the price was high. Overall very good hotel.

Hotel is good for a one night say, which is what we did. Any longer, we would have felt cramped and crowded. Room was clean and bathroom was also small but nicely appointed. We did have a problem at checkout, as front desk person insisted we had NOT paid prior to our stay, and we had to pay again for our stay. We are waiting for Hotels.com to get back […] to us with resolution of this problem. Lisateave

Hotel was in a great location walking distance to through all of old town. The city is exquiste and the hotel and services were wonderful. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent quality, value, breakfast, service and ideal central location. Well above average in all respects, even in relation to typical (high) German standards.

Все было прекрасно, за исключением одного: мы заказывали номер для некурящих, а получили для курящих, где все пропахло сигаретным дымом, что для нас было не совсем приятно. Во всем остальном отель заслуживает самой высокой оценки. Потрясающие завтраки, идеальное месторасположение, приветливый персонал.

Sehr gute Lage, direkt in der Innenstadt, Parkmöglichkeiten ca. 5min entfernt, keine Garage im Hotel. Bischen viel Lärm von draussen.

繁華街ににも近かったのですが，比較的静かで，快適でした．出来れば，ポットが常備されていれば良かったのですが．また，インターネットの接続が出来ず，日本との連絡が取れず大変でした．

Hôtel idéalement situé, en plein centre ville, très proche des sites touristiques (DOM, Hotel de ville, musée du trésor, vieille ville, restaurants). Les quelques points d'amélioration possibles sont la salle de bain vieillissante de notre chambre et le bruit de la route. Zeer verzorgd en net modern hotel, vriendelijk personeel. De locatie midden in het centrum is perfect met eigen (afgesloten) parkeergelegenheid op een paar minuten lopen. Niet voor mensen die overgevoelig zijn voor rumoer van de straat :-)

bin mit allen zufrieden und emfehle gerne das Hotel weiter.

Das Hotel ist direkt an der Fussgaengerzone also direkt im Zentrum von Dom und Rathaus

Mooi hotel, heel dicht bij de winkelstraten en ong. 7 minuten lopen naar de Dom. Parkeren kan het beste erachter in parkeergarage Büchel. Ontbijt in het hotel deden we maar niet, rondom de Dom vind je genoeg goedkopere (en leukere) frühstücks. De goedkoopste 2p kamer was een beetje te klein, zowel wat ruimte als wat bed (een ruime twijfelaar) betreft, […] een volgende keer toch kiezen voor de wat grotere kamer. De TV in de kamer gaf (wat NL zenders betreft) alleen Ned. 2 door. Lisateave

Hotrellet ligger centralt, og der er ok parkeringsmuligheder. Hotellet forholdsvis nyindrettet og har moderne og komfortable værelser. Prisen meget attraktiv og kvaliteten ligger i den øvre ende.

Bättre läge för en weekend i Achen finns nog inte. Trevligt hotel, peronalen visade på god servicekänsla och allt fungerade som man ska kunna förvänta sig. Om vi åker till Aachen i gen så väljer vi samma hotell
