Super 8 Motel - Fairbanks - Fairbanks

The place has no elevator. Only stairs,my husband just had surgery and they wouldn't help with bags. Even when asked to help.we also had a pet room they charge $25 for each pet they need to use that and maybe shampoo the carpets. It stank so bad,the shower woulnd drain,the toilets were plugged up and didn't flush well.I won't return there ever.

Wonderful staff, very friendly. Free airport shuttles? Amazing!!

You can only describe this hotel as adequate. For a few dollars more, you can stay at a much nicer hotel in the same area. Lugging the bags up and down stairs is not a good plan for a hotel.

O.K. hotel for what we paid - but, just because we asked for a non-smoking room doesn't mean that our room and the entire floor we were on didn't fill with cigarette smoke from the other rooms. Yuck! It's worth it to pay more for another hotel.

The impression of this hotel that will stay with me is the smell which was some cross between fresh paint (though there wasn't any) and vomit. I actually held my breath when moving through certain parts of the hotel. What I am most happy about is that I don't seem to have bedbugs or contracts any diseases, but time will tell. HOTEL SUPER 8 IN FAIRBANKS WAS ALL I NEEDED FOR MY TWO STAYS THE ACTING MANAGER AND HIS STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFULL THERE WERE EATING PLACES ALL AROUND AND THE BUS STOP WAS RIGHT NEXT DOOR AND A VERY GOOD TRANSPORT SERVICE IT IS I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN

I went to the theater twice during my stay and was able to walk to a variety of resturants. Nice place to stay.

I love this hotel. No one ever bothers me.

This stay was exactly what I wanted: a place where I was not disturbed by anyone, especially hotel staff.

We enjoyed our stay at the motel. It was a nice place to stay & friendly people.

quiet while I was there. Dennys next door with Pizza Hut, Mcdonalds, chinese eating house and another family style eating house across the road.

Quiet, comfortable, overall a good place to crash and have easy access to the movie house and stores.

I made an advance reservation for a nonsmoking room, yet the walk-in customer in front of me was given the motel's last nonsmoking room. I inquired if there were any other nonsmoking rooms and was told, "No." In addition to a generally run-down and shabby appearance (stained carpets, dirty tile, stained countertops), the sheets on my bed had blood […] stains, hair, and even a clearly outlined (in dirt) back print! Upon reporting this to the front desk staff, I was offered a transfer to their nonsmoking suite. I appreciated the manner in which the night manager dealt with my situation but remained perplexed as to why the front desk staff had earlier denied the existence of a nonsmoking room. It would have been a great opportunity to upsell if nothing else! Lisateave

Det værste motel vi nogensinde har boet på. Værelserne var meget beskidte, lugtede fælt af indelukkethed og gammel cigaretrøg, meget ringe standard. Værelseskorridorerne var desuden usædvanligt varme og uventilerede. Tørretumbleren virkede uhensigtsmæssigt og varmede alt for meget, så noget af vores tøj krøb. Morgenbuffet i kælderen hvor der også var […] meget indelukket og lugtede af gammelt brød. Venlig dame i receptionen forsøgte på bedste vis at finde nyt værelse til os, men de var alle sammen ens. Aircond. virkede dårligt, og hårtørreren var ved at falde ned fra væggen. Vinduerne var beskidte m.v. Kan bestemt ikke anbefales. Byen var også et usædvanlig kedeligt bekendtskab.
