It was a nice experience. Clean except that every chair had a stain. The breakfast was good, eggs, pancakes, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal. "Worst Stay Ever at a Holiday Inn Express"
I should have believed the reviews I had read about this hotel and stayed somewhere else, but I really like Holiday Inn Express so i booked my stay there for 2 nights. My room was not cleaned the next day because there was a brief power outage. I had gone to a company for business and returned to my room at 11:50 and saw 2 maids on the floor. I had […] placed a do not disturb sign on my door and removed it so the maid would clean our room. I left about 10 minutes later and did not return to around 6. The room had not been cleaned. The next morning at check out I mentioned this to the assistant manager because there was no manger at this hotel. The assistant manager told me she had gone around to every room after the maids had left which was supposed to be no earlier than 2 and had recorded that the do not disturb sign was still on my door. I told her she was not telling the truth because I had returned at 11:50 and removed the sign. My wife had to go over to the college nearby where our son attends to blow her hair dry because the power had gone off and she had complained because the maid was vacumming the hall way at 8:30 and woke her up. "good mid line accommodations"
Hotel is in renovations. Lots of fresh paint smell. The best thing this hotel had was their staff, who were pleasant and accommodating. Worst was no Ice. "You guys messed up"
I was not able to stay at the hotel because you guys booked the wrong day. The hotel was entirely booked. The manger and desk people were extremely helpful to find me another room. Your staff was NOT HELPFUL and VERY RUDE when I asked for their assistance. They would not even give me a voucher for another time. Dirty, with trash lining the hallway, nails and dirt in the vending area. Not all desk clerks are the same, and training is a significant issue. Expected a much better reception, and Priority Club cards were not recognized by the staff.Kontrollitud Hotels.com kliendiarvustus
