The hotel was perfect for closeness to the airport and an easy stress free start to our overseas holiday

This is an especially great place to stay if you are arriving late into MEL and/or need to catch an early flight out of MEL. It is connected with a sheltered pathway from the airport terminal. Service is warm and friendly and breakfast is a superb spread. Highly recommended!

The hotel was only booked for 1 night because of a poor connecting flight time. It was a short walk from the airport but totally quiet and all the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and well serviced and when we asked for extra milk we were given a choice of cartons or fresh milk in a jug. We were offered late departure […] up to 2 pm but we decided to vacate the room early and take the Skybus into the city. Great location for business but let down by the attitude of a couple of staff and mediocre food. From booking "no special rates for conferences you should stay somewhere else" through to check in as the workshop facilitator "no you can't see the conference room as you didn't make the booking", I found the staff unhelpful. Food was average except for […] eggs at breakfast which scrambled, fried or as an omelet (four in our group) they could not get right. Its a shame to see a good hotel with some great staff (Amanda in housekeeping) spoilt by a couple of arrogant and incompetent staff on the front desk and in the kitchen. Lisateave

We find it very convenient for our travels from International Airport and the undercover walk way across is fantastic.

A few minutes walk from the terminal but the hotel is a bit tired. Carpets are dirty and frayed. More like a budget hotel than what we expected of the Park Royal brand.

Convenient location if you have an early flight out of Melbourne and already want to return your rental car. Hotel is right above the rental car return.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you have an early morning flight, A 2 minute walk across a walkway straight to check in. We were extremely disappointed with our recent stay at the PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport. Selected highlights include: - no porters - no parking - no welcome - no baggage assistance - poor signage - given a room that stank of smoke - placed on a corridor that stank of smoke - several staff speak insufficient English to provide acceptable service at this […] price point (Reception, Bar, Restaurant, Concierge, Housekeeping) - some staff are grumpy with guests - chewing gum in swimming pool showers - pubic hair in three out of five showers in male pool changing room - changing rooms generally dirty / grimy - gym / pool unstaffed / unsupervised / unlocked / open to any passing chancer who fancies a swim - Concierge slow - Room service slow - Faulty television in room - tatty aspects of room furnishings - overpriced restaurant serving average quality, small portions - fried bacon / lardons salad described on menu as a 'vegetarian option' - black hair served in main course - kitchen staff don't wear hairnets - bar staff / waiting staff speak very poor English - staff don't listen to guest query and just deliver information - corridors dirty - general tattiness of rooms / fabric of the building Redeeming features: I met with the duty manager to raise all my concerns, a few hours after we arrived. He was extremely sympathetic, professional and charming. He listened to me, acknowledged my points and dealt with my complaint very professionally. Although nothing could change what had happened. I believe he shared my disappointment in the standard of service we received. The icing on the cake was after meeting with him going to dinner and receiving our poor meal, poorly presented including some of the chef's hair. This hotel is totally mismatched to the Pan Pacific brand standards and requires drastic and immediate revisions of its staffing / training / facilities. I couldn't be more pleased with this hotel for convenience and comfort for an overnight stopover before catching an international flight the next morning. It is located within the airport area, connected to the carpark and hire car drop off. It isabout a 2 mins walk from the terminal. The King Bed room was spacious and nicely appointed. A discounted […] parking rate is available. There is what appeared to be a very nice restaurant and bar area as well as in-room dining although i ate at one of the airport restaurants. The price tag is higher than the other hotels but well worth it for the convenience. Recommended for weary travellers and those with a morning flight. Lisateave

You never know what to expect from an airport hotel, some use the location to charge a fortune, this hotel was reasonable priced for a reasonable stay. Having arrived ahead of schedule thanks to Emirates for being early and Qantas for pushing me on an earlier connection I arrived about 2 hours early but this was not a problem, I was very tired so being […] handed the keycard was such a welcoming site. I used the hotel to recover from the trip before I undertook a 500 mile drive so my sleeping patterns were irregular but I was never disturbed, when I ordered room service the delivery was very speedy, however they would not take the tray from the previous meal I had back which was a little odd ! Breakfast was good and tasted good, the restaurant was quite nice but the waitress was insistent I told her what breakfast I was having before I was allowed to sit down, in the end I paid for cooked and had only cereal. Check out went ok until I was told of this 1.5% surcharge for credit card use. I had not been made aware of it the night before, I was told it was on my registration form, but when presented with this in my tired state I asked whether they needed all the details and was told no just a signature, only when I re-read the small print on it I noticed this surcharge. Whilst the rest of the world does not seem to do this apparently its something which has been introduced in this part of Australia in the belief that it is done elsewhere in the world, having travelled throughout the middle and far east during the previous year it is something I yet have to come across, I was annoyed by this charge especially after the over inflated breakfast charge I had just paid. Couldn't be more convenient - just a short walk from the hotel to the terminals. Excellent rooms - large and comfortable. Staff are pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided but unfortunately no biscuits. The mini bar is well stocked but there is no room in the fridge for anything of your own. Beware of moving […] things around in the fridge to make room - the computerised system will be sure you have taken something out and you will be charged for it. Apart from these minor inconveniences I would thoroughly recommend this hotel both for comfort and convenience. Lisateave

Welcome pack very good. Hotel clean, modern and comfortable. Short walk to airport. Service efficient and friendly. Have rung hotel to give very positive feedback.

It was a late decision but as we were connecting to an early International found the venue and location perfect and we got a free upgrade. Can't beat that!

The hotel is slowly needing a face lift. The rooms show their age, but it is unbeatable when you arrive late from overseas and need to catch a morning flight.

We were staying overnight between flights and it was handy to be able to walk from the terminal. the Hotel was fine and comfortable. The only minor point was that the view from our room on level 6 was over a roof and parking area and not very pleasant.

I was longing for the chance to chill out after the trek from Sweden. This was my first stay at the Park Royal since it had swapped brands. I was curious to see how it had changed. I was pleasantly surprised. All the comfort and quality was still the same and if anything the atmosphere was more relaxed. The price was less too!

Very happy with stay, comfortable bed & seperate shower & bath. Had to catch a 6am flight so could not have been more convenient - just walk across the road. Staff were very helpful, arrived at 10:30am but they still let me check in so I could drop off bags & refresh before heading into town. Offered a wake up call due to early flight without me asking. […] Did not hear planes at all. Only downside was that drinks at the bar were very expensive ($18 for a cocktail). Wonderful haven for the weary traveller!

Great place to stay if you have a quick overnighter in Melbourne in between flights as it's just over the road from the check in. Not a place to stay otherwise, unless you're a plane spotter. The bar is very pricey!

空港から近いだけのビジネスホテル的なホテルだろうと期待していなかったので、部屋の清潔さやレストランのクオリティに満足です。 お部屋にシャンパンやチョコレート等が入ったプレゼントバッグがあり、有り難く頂戴しました。 子供と二人で十分に寝れるベッドが二台あり、快適に過ごせました。

６時発メルボルンのフライトに乗るため、利用しました。 朝食をルームサービスで４時半にお願いしましたが、とても暖かいできたてのenglish　breakfastがいただけました。疲れが本当に取れました、ありがとうございます。

出発時間がam6時と早い為利用しました。 空港に徒歩で行ける立地条件は最高！ 部屋も安い料金にもかかわらず、広く、娘夫婦が見送りに行きたいとのことで、ベットをツインに希望したのですが。 キングサイズベットが2個セットしてありました。 オーストラリアはシングルベットが無い？と聞いていたので どんなに狭くなっているかと、思っていましたが、 ゆったりした部屋で気持ち良く日本に帰国できました。 次回も利用させていただきたいと思います。 ありがとうございました。

早朝のフライトだったため、メルボルン空港直結のこちらの空港を利用しました。滞在時間はかなり短めでしたが、フロントスタッフのフレンドリーな笑顔と、広い部屋、清潔で広さ十分なバスルームで大満足でした。セキュリティ面も、エレベーターも宿泊者以外は使えないので安心でした。また幼児はカウントされず？お得感がありました。アメニティはハブラシ、剃刀が無いのが残念でしたが、全体では、また泊まりたいと思いました。

공항도 한눈에 다 보이고 위치도 가깝고 호텔객실도 너무 맘에 들었습니다. 이른새벽에 멜버른공항을 가야했는데 5분만에 도착한 것 같아요..^^ 직원들도 매우 친절했습니다.
