Holiday Inn Jaipur - Jaipur

Arrived at around 11pm. Very dark and dinghy reception since most lights switched off due to cost.cutting. Old style bedrooms and bathrooms in desperate need of refurb. Very basic breakfast. Depressing hotel indeed. We got the trident for a cheaper price which was 10 times better.

Holiday Inn Jaipur was a nice hotel, but for the first two days, there was what seemed to be construction going on during the daytime and it made it very difficult to work. Also the first day I checked in there was a very loud party right by my room and I had to call three times before the music was turned off. Holliday Hotel should be a very nice place to stay if hotel services could smile sometime and do best effort to answer to our needs.

It is a good nice hotel to stay. Staff was very helpfull. The only thing I am very particular and was not happy was toiletries. The towel in washroom was not of good quality as expected from a star property.

The room was too small but the staff were pretty great. Food is good. Bell boy service takes forever. The loos left a lot to desire. Overall, a ok hotel. The hotel has no spa.

I was there on business and I found the hotel staff on the front besk were so very helpful, I needed to extend my stay by 2 nights and this was accommodated with out having to change rooms. I was in a suite which was very, very tastful, the frontroom was very confortable as was the bed. All ther staff were very attentive. I would recommend this hotel […] not only for business but for pleaseure. the only comment that I would make is that the internet/wifi access is very expensive. Lisateave

The Holiday Inn in Jaipur looked very much like the website said. The swimming pool was wonderful, especially in Jaipur in April. The service was wonderful and the staff always helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. There were problems, however. The a/c in my room never really got cold. Check in passport was confiscated and held. I didn’t even know my passport was held until after the bell boy returned into my room an hour later! The first room I checked into was semi clean. The bathroom floor was still dirty from the previous occupant. After about an hour in the room never cooled off. The new room a/c on the side by the pool was a […] lot cooler and cleaner. The bathroom towels were worn- stained. The room electric except for the a/c was operated by your key card. The downstairs restaurants were under construction so the only place to eat was the Coffee shop. In the morning breakfast buffet was served. Half the line was Indian and the rest was semi American and western food with corn flakes, brand flakes, orange juice, pineapple juice. Eggs made to order, pancakes and chicken sausage and a few other tasteless items. Lunch was 600 Rps with all taxes included. Same thing Indian food and a mix of western food witch included some pasta and basic items. Didn’t really find the buffet really worth the money because there is absolute no other places to eat outside the gate unless you want some pretty good home cooked Indian food outside for about 20 RPS. Wi-fi At check In was told wi-fi was an additional 600 rps a day! I asked if there was a discount for 1 week since I was staying that long. The reply was no. After a day without internet I decided to check online and see what the deal was. Sure enough one week for 2,000 rps. Lisateave
