Residence Inn Minneapolis at The Depot by Marriott - Minneapolis

Great hotel. Not connected to sky walk but its connected to the renaissance hotel which has a restaurant and bar. They also offer room service, free breakfast and free dinner/wine/beer Mondays-Thursday. Full Kitchen, etc. The depot has a water park and other kid related activities so be prepared to see a lot of families over the weekend.

Close to bars downtown can go thru the skyway n stay warm I really enjoyed myself

We stayed at the Residence Inn for one night. We saw a play at the Guthrie, ate a family-friendly dinner, ice skated at the Depot and swam in the Water Park. Everyone was exhausted and happy. The room was comfortable and clean - not deluxe, but that's not what we wanted to spend our money on. For adults, the Depot complex has a really cozy bar area. […] I have not eaten in the restaurant. I was satisfied with the hotel and its location. Though there was a misunderstanding of some sort; when I made the reservations I was told there would be a whirlpool bath with massage jets. That's the only complaint I have.

Very nice room, very quiet. Nice continental breakfast. We would stay there again no doubt. Clean, quiet and perfect for a restful stay.

This is a great spot if you need some of the comforts of home while away from home. The manager's reception (aka dinner) and the hot breakfast really hit the spot. The staff was very patient and helpful.

The location of the hotel was great for us. The two room suite for a family of 5 was more than adequate. The rooms were clean and quiet. The complementary breakfast buffet was good as well.

Our overall stay was great. We were visiting the University of Minnesota and it was a five minute drive from the hotel. Mall of America was 20 minutes in traffic. The breakfast buffett and evening "refreshments" were outstanding. Every employee we came in contact with was extremeley courteous. The only negative wast the bedding. My family and I stayed here for two nights. We loved the hotel-the rooms were spacious and I loved having the kitchenette with the kids. It took them a while to find us a roll away bed for my 3rd child which had me concerned, but they did end up finding one. The breakfast was outstanding and the location was unbeatable-two blocks from the Mississippi […] in the heart of the city. My two complaints are that they charged $15/day for parking and $10/guest for the waterpark. In hindsight we should have parked across the street for $6/day, but we didn't know that when we first arrived. I really think they should give hotel guests a free parking pass. Also, there is no pool so I was annoyed that they charged so much for hotel guests to use the attached water park. My kids loved it, but would have been happy to use a free pool. I would stay here again but park in another lot. Lisateave

We have stayed here before for a date night out and had a great time skating at the Depot and enjoying the night life. This time we went in the summer and enjoyed the stone arch bridge, Mills City and surrounding eateries. Our young children loved it! We loved the underground parking (rainy days) and complimentary food. Spacious clean rooms. Continental breakfast included. Easy access from interstates.
