The check-in was convenient. Room was dirty as there was hair on the sink and the bathroom smelled of urine. Continental breakfast was ok.

I was very impressed with the staff they were helpful and accommodating .I was in the pool area it was beautiful however i did not get the chance to use it. The rooms were clean and comfortable

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Excellent mattress and quiet. The breakfast offering were fine - didn't care for the coffee choice

Pleasant staff, clean rooms -- a little run down, but comfortable, a nice pool and working air conditioning (as well as openable windows). My only problem was that the door to the outside, at the back of the building, was not locked. Granted, Boone, IA is a pretty safe place, but I would have felt better had that door been kept locked. Below standard. It smelled like smoke in my room. I requested a room with a microwave and it was not there. I asked for a second floor room because of the noise and that was not available. The staff was curtious but not accomendating.

We stayed at this motel about 7 years ago and was pleased to find it had been well maintained. Helpful staff. A little more than your average continental breakfast. I appreciate all facilities that have some exercise equipment in house - a must in my opinion.

Hotel.com showed a picture with 2 beds, we had 2 adults 2 children, by hotel web we would of be okay in the room, got to the room and hotel.com reserve a handicap room with 1 bed.

If you're forced to spend the night in Boone, IA, not the worst place. Basics of the hotel were fine - everything worked in the room and it seemed clean. Front desk service left something to be desired. The young lady at the desk didn't seem to think it was important to tell me where the closest entrance to my room was. Said nothing, so I assumed it […] was main entrance only. After hauling in family's luggage the long way through the lobby, I discovered one of the 'emergency exit' doors I passed along the way was also an alternative entrance (with use of your room key)...would have been good to know upon check-in. Later, we tried taking the kids for a swim and the pool was ice cold - this wasn't just our opinion, but that of everyone in the pool. Again, I spoke to the same young lady and she gave me some 'doubletalk' excuse about it being heated, but the cool temps outside affecting the pool temp inside yadda, yadda, yadda...basically, she knew nothing and couldn't do anything about it. Our stay was over a weekend, which I am assume like most hotels, is when they have the most guests...probably a good idea to have someone on hand would know how to adjust the temp to the 'heated' pool. This was one of the cleanest and nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. Very convenient location. Staff was friendly. Didn't have time to use the pool, but the pool area appeared just as immaculate as the rest of the place. I will stay there again the next time I come into town.

While the room and the hotel looked nice. I think the rooms flood because the room smelled very musty. and the carpet seemed kind of damp. I wouldn't stay there again

Nice hotel, nice staff, good breakfast (waffles). Took my grandkids there so they could have fun in the pool and they did.

the picture on the internet was completely different then the room we received. I did not want or need a whirlpool tub in our room,as I seen on the website I expected a much larger room with a couch and a 2nd TV. the size of our room was no bigger than a standard room and i paid for a king suite!I was not happy at all, I feel we were way over charg […] ed! For the cost of the hotel, I expected a bit more. If you're looking for a place to sleep and watch a little TV, and don't mind paying twice as much as the Super 8 down the street (for the same room amenities) stay here. No microwave, or fridge in room. No wired internet either. They give you a password for wireless, but it was way too slow to be worth […] it. Since I got the room for "cheap" on Expedia, I got the handicap access room, which was a bit anoying, but now I know what to expect. I'll stay elsewhere for the same amenities, at half the cost.
