Very satisfied with my one-week stay at the Key Hotel. Great value. The room is very clean. Good breakfast. The staff is very nice, friendly and pleasant. They really go out of their ways to help guests in every way. Will definitely come back and stay again.

a 15 min walk from the train station and 10 - 15 walk to town centre just opposite the football stadium but even when a game was being played there was no problem and handy if you fancy seeing some Italian footy at just 10e, the hotel is clean and modern altough has the appearance of any chain hotel not to criticise but rather impersonal but provides […] all you need,good size room and clean modern facilities,breakfast offers wide selection of bread,cakes cereals juice,meats cheese and regularly topped up,nice touch on arrival when you are offered a prossecco or fruit juice which is a nice touch, a short walk to town so not too bad unless mobility is a problem,area ok and no problems. Good place. Across street from soccer stadium, so might be noisy and trafficious when a game is on. More distant fro m city center than advertised, maybe 3/4 to 1 mile, but easily walkable. Downtown wonderful!

We stayed in a range of tourist hotels in a tour of Italy and this was not the most expensive but it was the best. It looks nice, the rooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms large, the aircon works, it has free wi-fi, the staff are extremely nice and helpful and the breakfast is the best in the whole country bar none. we really wished we could […] have moved this hotel around with us to all the big Italian cities. This hotel is an average option for the business traveler. If you need wi-fi, get a room on a lower floor but it is still not reliable. The breakfast available is sub-par to other Italian offerings but is adequate and the coffee is great! I found the hotel to be very clean and meet all the basic needs. The bathrooms were spotless. It's not fancy but for the price, it can't be beat. Staff were great and secure parking with CCTV was easy. Located within a nice 15min walk into the centre of Vicenza and around a 20 min walk to the train station for those who wish to go into Venice. Only Complaint would be the coffee at breakfast, it was awful, which in Italy is practically a sin.

Very helpful staff. Good air conditioning . Quiet ,at least at the back. Outside the old city center and about a good 20 minutes walk from the railway atation. Pedestrialn old city center great for walking around and only about 10 Minutes walk away.

Front counter staff were accommodating and helpful. We found the room to be clean and quiet. Breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold items to choose from. The location is not within the historic centre of Vicenza, but there is a bus to the train centre. We would stay there again.

Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast and good value. Opposite football stadium, so may be noisy during match days. 10-15 min walk to centre of Vicenza, a pretty small town with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Very satisfied. Especially good situation for short drive to Venice for ferries to Greece.

The Hotel Continental convenient for the centre of Vicenza (10 mins walk), and a short car ride, or longer walk to the main out of town historic sites e.g Villa Rotunda. A taxi is needed to and from the station. The hotel is more modern than appears on the wbsite, with well decorated facilities, with plenty of natural light from large windows. The facilities […] in the rooms are of a good standard, only lacking a fridge from the normal facilities. There is a good shower in the bathroom, and overall the rooms are comfortable (if a little on the small side). Reception staff are very good,friendly and helpful in dealing with requests. The breakfast is buffet style, with plentiful variety and some cooked eggs in addition to fruit, hams, cheeses cereals etc. etc. Overall this hotel represents good value and provides a good base for visiting Vicenza Lisateave

The hotel was modern, clean, well appointed, and the staff was exceptional, even moving one of their cars to give us a parking place. Breakfast was wonderful, and this hotel is highly recommended as a great value for the money.

The hotel itself was lovely and well decorated. They have rooms with different themes, and we were staying in the cheapest room, which was still very nice and spotlessly clean. The pressure in the shower was great - best I've had in italy. Their lobby area is a nice place to sit - plenty of sofas and they have a little bar. The breakfast was continental […] - quite average, and what you'd expect from this kind of place. Cereal, fresh pastries, boiled/scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, juice etc. The staff at breakfast were very friendly, as were the staff in general. We did get quite annoyed on the day before we left because we had planned to hire bikes to go exploring the countryside. I'd asked at the reception the day before to make sure it would be fine, and a woman told me that yes we could hire bikes, we just needed to come down in the morning and ask. When we did this however, we were told that the bikes were 'not ready yet'. I was really annoyed at this as they didn't say on their website that the free bike hire was only for a certain time of year, and the woman at reception had confirmed they had them. So we'd planned our whole day around this idea (and I'd partly chosen the hotel because of the free bike rental). We ended up renting bikes from somewhere else, and it cost us €24 extra. Still, this was a little mistake on their part, and it didn't affect the rest of the good service we received. The location of the hotel isn't great but isn't terrible either. If you're a football fan, it's right next to the stadium. We found it was about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Vicenza. I think that you'd pay a lot more for a hotel right in the centre. So, I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Lisateave

The hotel is clean, modern, and a haven when traveling all over Italy. We loved this hotel. Our room was large with two large comfy twin beds. We had a balcony that looked out on the back area including views of the city center. Our bathroom was huge and super clean and modern. Great shower. The tv was a good size flatscreen with tons of channels including […] a few in English. Breakfast was delicious. Order the cappuccino an dig in. There's pastries, cereal, fruit, yogart, meats and cheeses and rolls. Even hard boiled eggs. They put out a great spread and it was all included in the price of the room. The hotel is a 25 minute walk to the city center however. So if you aren't a walker, call a taxi. The area around the hotel offered little in terms of restaurants. We booked for 5 nights but had to leave after 2 nights.The room was clean but very small and not suitable for a 5 night stay.It would have been fine for an overnight stop,which most of the other people seemd to be doing.However the main problem,and why we had to leave,was the dampness in the room (and other rooms in the hotel),because it started to […] affect my wife's asthma.I have not experienced this in a hotel room before but when putting clothes on in the morning for instance they felt damp as if washed the day before,which they obviously hadn't been.The management were very polite but didn't seem to take on board what we were saying. I have stayed here last year while I was conducting archtiecture research and this hotel has changed a lot within a year. The lobby and the breakfast room are completely remodeled in a modern style. The breakfast was a typical European breakfast, but abudantly stocked with cereals, meats, baked goods and juices. Many hotels only offer a croissant, one type of bread, ham and one cereal, but the Continental has a wide choice of food items. I throughly enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
