good value

This hotel is definately in need of a proper refurbishment, its a little bit tired and run down. However I've stayed in a lot of Caribbean hotels and when I booked this because it was cheaper than everything else in holetown, I was'nt expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. The room was bright, airy, clean, and comfortable. The little kitchen was […] a nice bonus as we cooked dinner and had it on the balcony overlooking the water. Sure there are better hotels on the island for less money, but if you something which has great restaurants and nightlife on your doorstep and is right on the waterfront then this is hard to beat for the price. You definately won't find anything else as good in Holetown for the price. Would stay again. Lisateave

This hotel was perfect for us. It's on the beach and a two minute walk away from a supermarket and plenty of restaurants and bars - none of which presented a problem noisewise. There is no restaurant but this wasn't an issue. Don't expect a modern or 'pretty' hotel but the rooms were clean and spacious and everything was in good working order. All rooms […] sea facing, all with balconies and the linen was good and beds comfortable. There is also a little kitchenette perfect for cups of tea, light meals and storing your drinks and snacks. Look, I know the Sunswept hotel is a one star (or two) but it really let me down. The air conditioner was weak while it was hot as hell out side... there was no remote control for the television... there is no CNN just the BBC and some other static-filled booring stations... the hotel has NO elevator, so moving luggage up and down will be a sweaty […] work-out... after checking in, the manager asked to see written proof of my reservation with them despite me booking and already paying for the room via hotels.com... the hotel's ability to allow long-distance phone calling was down... the electricity turns off at random at night (God help you without air conditioning..)... Bottom line: Stay here only as a last resort. *Also: No internet access in the rooms. Lisateave

Convenient location with good choice of restaurants and bars close by and a supermarket across the road.. The rooms were reasonably spacious and the kitchenette facilities useful. The balcony and seaview are a great plus. Public areas leave a lot to be desired but the rates are very attractive for the area. Great location on the beach. Close to Holetown shopping centre. Excellent beachfront bar and restaurant . Older well used hotel comfortable and bright fresh paintwork. Excellent value and a secret gem.Possibly quiet for teenagers great for couples and young families.

accueil sympathique, la directrice est très proche des clients et donne de bons conseils touristiques. l’hôtel donne sur une petite plage agréable avec un bar où l'on peut prendre des cocktails à des prix abordables. Mesmo tendo bastante idade o hotel é confortável, muito bem localizado, com quartos amplos, limpos, completos (inclusive cozinha) e com todos os equipamentos em bom estado e funcionando.
