The Hyatt did all things right and was convenient for our stay . We chose not to brew coffee in our room with the $5 bottled water, so my husband went in search of the usual complimentary coffee station that is available in every hotel that we have stayed in for years. There was none. He came back with the $3 cups of coffee from the restaurant. The […] Hyatt does so much right, can't they come up with a coffee station? Best place in the area to stay that I found for the price, though there's a Marriott very close by. My room was right next to the elevator, which was loud and distracting. Assuming there was space, I'm confident that the hotel would have put me in a different room had I asked. It didn't bother my sleep but it wasn't ideal. As far as service, it was […] acceptable but below my expectations for the brand. I asked to have some food heated, and although it eventually was, it took maybe 15 minutes for one or two minutes of heating. Also, I was initially told no on the heating but a supervisor had the person who said no go heat the food. Lisateave

The room started leaking after a rain storm

Typical reliable high Hyatt quality in every way, and a very good price for booking a week ahead. If you need to be in central Long Island, this place is great.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. Usually it is because we are attending a wedding there but it is worth the stay. The rooms are clean, the service is excellent. The food in the restaurant is somewhat expensive, but overall, the hotel has a great feel to it.

Hotel was understaffed and check in was extremely long. The room I reserved, a King bed non-smoking room, was not available (even though I am a Hyatt Platinum member) and I was actually assigned a room on the "smoking" floor. After a lengthy wait and multiple discussions, I was assigned a room that was poorly maintained and smelled of air freshener […] to cover up the smoke smell that permeated throughout the hotel. Overall, it is a hotel that may be a suitable location but both service and quality issues will force me to find another hotel if I'm back in the area. Furthermore, the hotel is flanked by high-tension power lines which have been reported to be a health risk!!! Lisateave

As soon as I walked in the staff helped me. From checking in to checking out. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel is extremely business friendly, all amenities, friendly staff. Bar prices 30% over average, food was well prepared.

The hotel was a good value and in general I was satisfied. The hotel does have some structural issues. It was raining and the roof was leaking in several common areas in the hotel. The wall in my roof had water marks on it and the carpet was damp near the window. Otherwise it was clean and no other issues.

Everything was as expected. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was clean and needs were addressed promptly .

Can't explain how good my experiecece was! The pricing should change a little bit though. I did not like paying extra fees for checking in EARLY, makes no sense to me. But other than that, I loved it!

The first room we were placed in had vomit on the curtains and burn hole on the blankets. The second room we were placed in had an horrible sewer smell. The third room was OK but I would not recommend nor would I stay there again .

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel has two issues; The air conditioning unit in the room was running but the room was only mildly comfortable. The thermostat was set 60 but the room was near 80 the entire time. I never mentioned it to the staff as I was rarely in the room during my stay. Also on the last day of my stay I visited the […] pool area and what looked to me was that someone defecated in both the jacuzzi as well as the indoor pool. we mentioned it to a staff member and it was confirmed that someone had indeed defecated in the pools. When no bellman was available to help with my luggage, I was very turned off. However, most of the rest of the stay wasn't bad. The carpeting in the hallways have seen better days and needs to be cleaned. When I complained about noisy guests, the desk staff was very helpful and responsive.

Weekdays they had coffee in the dining section available for the early risers (like myself) not sure why they did not continue that practice on the weekends. I ended up driving to Starbucks, but heck, it was just a cup of coffee. The coffee in the room was very weak.

This was not what we had hoped for a Hyatt property. The services are very limited, the rooms had signs of wear and tear, had to call for extra towels-which arrived quickly but filled with lint. Horrible view of banquet hall rooftop with trash on it. No safe in room or minibar. The halls smelled like smoke from an "illegal" substance. Overall it was […] mostly quiet, which was a nice surprise, since a pair of new earplugs had been left on the bed. The hotel served it's purpose as a place to stay but the amenities and service availability at certain times were less than expected. Lisateave

Beds were super comfy.....I slept all night without hearing anything from any neighboors or people in the hallway. Great hotel....

Hotel was wonderful. A bit too much noise from youngsters at 1 a.m. Did not notify desk, was not aware hotel had security, but was informed by desk clerk upon check out. I was otherwise very satisfied.

The hotel staff was very accomodating in getting us wine glasses and allowing us to use wine from local wineries to have a small private gift opening party in their lobby. The only negative we saw was an overpriced buffet for breakfast. The price was way to high for what was included.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very comfortable. Friendly staff were welcoming and helpful. However, my room was on the 4th floor right by the elevators. I could hear the elevators going up and down all day and night. Also, the bathroom wasn't as clean as expected. The toilet paper holder was broken, and there was mildew in the shower. The carpet […] was spotted and stained in many places. Lastly, I could hear my next door neighbor walking in his room, talking on the phone, snoring and using the bathroom. Needless to say, this wasn't exactly a peaceful or relaxing environment. I would love to go back and stay at the hotel again, I would just request a room far away from the elevators and in a more peaceful area. Lisateave

Hotel was clean. Nice helpful staff. Upon request you can get a smoking room (which is hard to find in NY) free fridge or microwave. They have a small shop in the lobby to pick up drinks, snacks, magazines... I strongly recommend you drive to Walmart instead. Prices are outrages in the lobby though hotel room was very cheap. I stayed at the Hyatt Wind Watch 12/4/09 - 12/6/09. Price was good. Location Great. My only complaint was there was supposed to be an ice machine on the 8th floor, but it was gone. I went to the 9th floor, ice machine was empty. I went to the 7th floor, and finally found a working ice machine. Overall, good experience.

outstanding, great stay for the money

...however the pay per view movies were down for our entire stay

All in all it's a beautiful hotel but I was uncomfortable of the fact that in the lobby a man was sitting reading with his shoes off and his feet on a coffee table. You could also use more light in the bathroom. And there was none in the shower.
