Very comfortable and spacious room, car parking is in Waitrose car park fee is payable when you take your car out, so park it and leave it there till you leave, not a problem as the city is on the door step and everything is close by. Didn't use any of the amenties as there was so much on hand in the city to try. Will certainly stay there again.

The staff of Hilton Bath was great! Staffs did have some excellent problem solving skills. They served us with caring and love. I will definitely be back some time soon with my family. Well done!

The hotel could not be better located for exploring Bath, about mid-way between the Roman Baths and the Royal Crescent. All of the attractions of Bath are an easy 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is on a busy street and has little "curb appeal," but inside the public areas and rooms are well maintained and comfortable. The only negative is […] the two quite small elevators that serve the entire large hotel. It was relatively quiet when we were there, but during busy times it could be difficult to get an elevator, especially when you are hauling luggage up and down to your room.. Our room was at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet and comfortable. The included breakfast was good and served in a comfortable room overlooking the Avon River. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful. We will stay here again next time we are in Bath. Lisateave

The HIlton was very comfortable with good beds, clean room and great breakfast. Staff were courteous and helpful. Only downside was parking which was a bit of a pain, being in the public car park next door to the hotel. However, the location was great, being right near the centre and easily accessible. Would definately stay there again.

Had a great stay but watch out with the parking arrangements. They say they have parking but in fact it is in the adjacent public short stay car park. They have an arrangement which allows you to park as long as you like for £15. However this charge is per exit and not for the duration on your stay. On entering the car park you get a token which the […] hotel validates and then you pay in the car park machine. You have to do this every time you take the car out so I suggest you don't take the car out! There are also no signs to the hotel from the car park and no lifts which isn't easy when carring luggage. Hotel is superbly located for everything that Bath has to offer. Car parking charge of £15 per exit is a bit steep but since one does not need a car to visit the sights or the restaurants it really isn't an issue. We were offered a complementary upgrade to a larger room which was great because the standard room we booked would have been cramped.

From the outside this hotel is very underwhelming however once inside it transforms into a luxurious and inviting hotel that was a pleasure to stay in. Our hotel room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were also very lovely. Our only negative comment would be the over-inflated costs of drinks in the hotel bar!

A clean, functional hotel handily situated for the sights in the centre of Bath. It's also impersonal, faceless and indistinguishable from any other cell-block hotel of its type but, given the price and location, one cannot complain.

I can not really fault my stay at this hotel everyone was friendly the rooms were clean and comfortable theres a free 24 hour gym , and we got a chocolate and paper each morning. The only major issue you we had on arrival was the car parking it is not sign posted anywhere where Hotle residence should park and both of the attached are short stay. After […] driving around for some time we asked at reception and they told us to park in the multi story short stay car park and then upon check out they would validate our token so we would only have to pay £15 for the 5 days. hotel brillant location, bath is fabulous, hotel staff polite but would have been nice to be offered help to carry luggage to room.staff were unsure about parking times and fee of nearby carpark told different things each time! the cooked breatfast was very good, hot and tasty but breakfast rolls were like bricks! sorry sounds like im moaning but little […] things like this matter. The Hotel is in a GREAT location, really easy walk to everything...Unfortunately I had a room next to the service lift and it was unbelievably noisey...it did stop approx 10-10.30pm but would start again in the morning

We enjoyed our stay however were not impressed by the fire alarm going off three times between 6.45am and 7.15am. Nobody knew what was going on and there was much opening and closing of doors as people tried to establish if we had to vacate the hotel . As it was the morning of my daughter's birthday(4/4/13) it wasn't a pleasant start to her day. Also […] the car parking was quite complicated a) finding the car park entrance along the road from the hotel b) Having to carry all our luggage up two flights of car park stairs and then a trek along the road to the hotel entrance. Good location, just off the main street. Walking distance to everything, 10min walking from central station. Clean and spacious room (did get an upgrade though), really comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet was great!

We arrived very early (8.30am) on bank holiday Friday thinking that they would just keep our luggage till it was time to check in, however they gave us a room at 8.30 which was brilliant, albeit the room was very small. At 2pm we asked whether they had a larger room and they simply smiled and moved us to a much larger room. We were very disappointed with our stay here. Despite the room being comfortable there was more of an issue of room placement for us. We were awoken at 6.30am by fellow guests banging their doors. This was not helped by the fact there was a large group staying in the hotel on an organised trip and we seemed to be staying right amongst them. This banging […] and loud talking continued until 8am every 20secs. From 8am - 8.45 hotel housekeeping staff were stacking their trollies - right outside their housekeeping room - which was 2m from our door so banging/talking and rustling continued! I even got out of bed to see what was happening in the corridoor because it was so loud. So what we anticipated to be a lie in/escape for my partner's birthday, aactually turned out to be a horrible early wake up call. My partner actually missed breakfast because he was so tired after this. Disappointing end! Lisateave

Reception staff very helpful and reception area. Unfortunately when we got to our room thats where the novelty of staying in a Hilton ended as the room had very little space. It was a struggle to iron as there was just about space for the board. Also when we got to the room it was freezing, it took 3 hours of the radiator on to heat up the room. Booked a discounted room which seems to mean that quality of service was also reduced. Location was good as Bath is a small city but there were hotels which were better located in the heart of the city. The entire hotel was tired and felt more like Hilton airport hotels than Hilton city hotels. Don't expect that usual Hilton standards that you're used […] to. If I had had to pay full price this would not have made the cut. However for the discounted price that we paid, I have nothing to complain about. Lisateave

Great hotel, well appointed for Bath city centre -- most attractions are only a few minutes walk away, including the Roman baths and Bath Abbey. We also got breakfast included, despite it being excluded in the deal we purchased. However, the room we were given was very small and pokey and the bathroom cramped.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The service of the staff was very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the centre of Bath. Superb Breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much and would certainly book here again.

If we think of it as £100 for the room for the night and £100 for the location then maybe it was worth it. Bar was ok, breakfast was ok, room would have been acceptable 15 years ago, when the mattress and bedding were bought lol. Would stay there again if there was an offer on but not full price. This hotel is way over priced. It is not to Hilton standards. First impression is 'how were they ever allowed to construct such a horrible looking hotel in beautiful Bath". Room was cold when we arrived, frosty day, windows wide open and no heat on !!. Took hours to heat up. Dirty bed linen not changed though promised. Empty glasses outside door for […] two days. A constant damp smell like dirty socks in the bathroom. A bottle of still water from the bar to take to the room £5 ! Really enjoyed Bath, beautiful town. My Tip stay somewhere else. Lisateave

A 2 night stay with my niece and a friend, both 14 - we had a room with 2 double beds and a sofa bed set up as another double - room was in very good condition, clean, spacious and comfortable. We spent a lot of time with all 3 of us in the room and it didn't become oppressive at all. Location meant I could let girls go out together without me as all […] amenities, shops and sights on doorstep. Also Waitrose next door handy for treats and snacks. I really really wish though that Hilton rooms had fridges - I can understand why they don't but when a hotel room is not cheap and breakfast is not included a space to keep at least a carton of milk in would be a nice gesture.
