The location was PERFECT. The start line to the race was "right there". Ideal stay for the Montana Women's Run. The shower in our room had 2 shower heads, this was amazing for a post race shower.

This Best Western was not good. It was very hard to find. The front desk staff was not very accommodating. I asked for a room close to the laundry and was put about as far away from it as possible.

Parking is a little challenging, but breakfast at Stella's makes up for it! Rooms were clean and hotel staff was welcoming.

Everything went fine until some drunk women began arguing with management in the middle of the night right outside our room. When I told the desk clerk the next morning that I was very displeased with the incident she seemed less that concerned and walked to the back room with a "sorry" as she walked away.

Overall hotel was clean, & nice. Pet friendly was a plus! Biggest downside was the VERY small room.

I loved how they provided a welcome letter and water bowl for our dog and even some treats! They also donate part of our pet fee to a local organization for homeless animals. I thought it was great. Our room was great. The TV was really slow when changing channels.

The Front Desk went above and beyond our expectations. They had a shuttle take us to our event and bring us back to the hotel. They even made reservations for us at the restaurant we were eating at that evening. It was the best service I have ever had! Room was very clean. I plan to stay there every time I am in Billings.

I loved my room! I stayed at Best Western to visit Rocky Mountain College. The staff was super friendly, gave me great suggestions on where to eat., they even upgraded me to a Business King! Pros: Room was clean, TV had lots of channels. Manager nice. Staff busy but polite. If you have pets probably an ok motel to stay at. Cons: Very noisy. Could hear everything my neighbors said. Try to avoid a bottom-floor room as there doesn't seem to be any noise-dampening in the construction. Could not use gym facilities because they let dogs run […] freely through them. Spent the whole night listening to dogs using the "doggy potty" facilities due to room location. Sent back an item I left COD, without asking me my shipping preference; I got charged 4x what it should have cost to ship due to their "brilliant" choice in shipping packaging. Between this and the dogs overrunning the facilities, I will not be staying here again. Lisateave

Had a Non-Smoking room and there were cigarette burns on the carpet and the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. While on the phone in the room, housekeeping knocked on the door and before I could answer or even get up from the bed they opened the door and said they were checking to see if the room had been made up. In order to get to the room I had […] to go up the stairwell and even though the temperature was moderate the stairwell smelled of urine. Even early in the morning and late at night the smell was very overbearing. The room was real small but comfortable. Whenever the toilet was flushed or the shower was run there was this loud clicking noise that went on for a minute or two after the water was turned off. This also included the sink. Lisateave

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was fine for the price. Easy location to get to, fairly close to airport. The best part was the next door cafe, Stellas. Best breakfast I have ever had. Several good restaurants/brewery in walking distance that give discounts to motel guests. The negatives were: noisy heating/air conditioner, parking crowded.

The beds were very uncomfortable, the rooms were very small, the shower had mold around the edge of the tub and surround, and the parking was very difficult. Friendly staff, bed was comfortable and amenities in the room were fairly typically of this type of hotel. The building was a bit scruffy on the outside generally speaking but the room was very clean and comfortable and the free wi-fi, parking & airport shuttle were all nice to have.

This is a downtown Billing motel in the Billings business district. Older style built around a parking courtyard with outdoor entry to the rooms. Two-story with no elevator. We chose Walkers, a somewhat upscale place with great food and service, a pleasant surprise in a community this size. We were comfortable walking the area after dark. It seemed very safe. The staff was really nice. All of the entrances are outdoors and the parking was really tight. The walls were thin, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything worked well, even the iron! The location was great too, walking distance to down town. I would stay here again.

They have the most comfortable mattresses ever! It's an older hotel, but they obviously bought all new mattresses recently. Great location downtown near Starbucks. Parking was tight but available. It's not swanky, but it is clean and...did I mention the beds are awesome? I slept like a baby. Thanks, Expedia!!

If you are driving a full-size pick-up, be warned that the parking is extremely tight and unless you have excellent depth perception and are comfortable maneuvering in tight spaces, the parking lot at this motel will stress you out. Room was nice, clean, well appointed. Had mini fridge, but no microwave or way to heat up food. Neighborhood wasn't the best (homeless mission across the street, bus station next door). Entrance to rooms outside, no elevator. Not great for families with kids, especially little ones. Nice for single or couple travelers.

The hotel is very well located in Billings downtown. Walking distance to shops and eateries. Our room was very comfortable and clean but I did find a spider in my bed on the second night. We generally don't like to have an outside door on our room, but the area seemed very safe and we weren't worried about it at all. The hotel could have done a better […] job of letting us know amenities. My husband wanted to work out but we didn't think that they had the facility. We finally found it after our second day there. I never saw the pool, but I'm told there is one. (Of course, it is October, so we didn't expect to use that anyway). The internet is free but we had periods when it didn't work. All in all, I would recommend this hotel just because of the cleanliness and comfortable beds. The hotel also gives you a 10% discount at a lot of local eateries, which is nice. Overall, this place was great. They were jam packed for the few days I stayed so perhaps any issues I had were more a result of that situation than the staff. It felt fine the first night (a bit warm, no big deal) but the second night we were tossing and turning - way too warm. We tried to turn down the temp more. Nothing happened. We turned it so the fan would be constantly circulating air. Nothing happened. When we check out we let the front desk know that we thought the thermostat was broken and they said that it's motion controlled... I have no idea what that means for the evening - that it doesn't come on unless we're moving? We tried to explain that we cranked up the fan and turned up the cool air and the woman at the front desk kept getting very focused on the up/down language and kept saying "if you're too warm, you need to turn things down." The only thing that was annoying was the new auto sensor faucet. I couldn't brush my teeth or get water for the coffee pot without waving my hands under it and getting wet. I recommend this motel very reluctantly. Very nice and helpful staff. This hotel can be described as a "duality." It's very noisy -- any conversation among passersby leaps right through the thin walls. There's lots of noise seepage from the court parking in the middle, especially a diesel truck nearly every morning around daybreak. Location is a plus […] and a minus. It's close to everything in downtown Billings including the excellent restaurants Jake's Steak House and Walker's. But it's also within range of the beet factory -- so it gets the unbearable and irritating strong odor of beats in the air. It was pretty much unbearable for both of us. We met a woman who lives in Billings who is so allergic to the beet dust that her mouth breaks out in blisters. So stay away in October every year. While the odor does eventually dissipate, anybody who might be sensitive would be well advised to stay as far away from the east side of Billings as possible.This illustrates the duality of Montana.
