BEST WESTERN YOSEMITE WAY STAT - Mariposa

This hotel is very clean, freindly staff and a great little town located close to Yosmite. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Will make it point not to stay there again, The evening I checked in, the receptionist was curt and not too welcoming for the position she has with BW. This experience really soured my future stays with BW. Will look at other accomadations for future stays.

We stayed here two nights to be close to Yosemite Park. The rooms have been recently remodeled and are quite nice. LCD TVs with DirectTV are provided if you'd rather sit in your room and ignore the amazing natural wonders that are only 40 miles away. It would be perfect if they had a refrigerator, so we had to resort to filling the sink with ice to […] keep our Pepsis cold. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with annual flowers spilling out of anything that can hold dirt! The rooms are smoke free but the room doors are outside access and ashtrays are provided. Conti breakfast was standard fair, and excellent. Mariposa is a great little town to stage your Yosemite visit. There's plenty of restuarants and gift shops to keep you occupied, yet it doesn't scream tourist trap. I don't recall any fast food chains. There's a burger joint on the north end of town that was excellent and makes a mean chocolate shake. We also ate at the pizza place across the street. The food was good but not great, although they have a very complete menu if you need to satisfy several different tastes. The drive into the park is beautiful as you follow the Merced river through the valley. We stopped for several pictures before we even made it to the park. Lisateave

Thoroughly loved it. I would definitely stay at another Best Western Hotel. I also stayed at another Best Western Hotel in Watsonville... it was a wonderful experience. Mahalo!

After reading all the bad reviews I was expecting the worst. I was pleasantly surprised that this Best Western is just a standard simple hotel. Nothing fancy, but certainly not a horrible place to stay. The continental breakfast is a nice plus.

We booked the hotel based on the information provided on the web-site: the hotel is NOT located 17 miles from any Yosemite National Park entrance, it is located 37 miles from the park entrance. The TV in the room didn't work, nor did the alarm clock. The Continental Breakfast was the worst we ever encountered anywhere. The Front Desk Clerk during check […] out in the morning was not helpful in any way, didn't have the time to answer a couple of questions. Lisateave

A "basic" older hotel that is very clean! The grounds feature nice flowers and ferns. The pool and breakfast room are well kept. The staff was very friendly. The one complaint was older style air conditioners that are noisy, but must be run, or the room is stuffy. All over town, people we met were helpful and very friendly!

good location for yosemite with a range of eating places in the evening catering for a range of budgets. However, the downside is that the hotel was on the expensive side even though we had booked early.

Way over priced for an average motel.

The hotel is on the main road but the street noise did not disturb us at all. Our room with 2 queen beds was spacious and well maintained. It was very convenient that the breakfast was included and the breakfast was quite substantial. I would stay there again.

In our room, the carpet was worn, the room was musty and generally regarded that it was used for a long time. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the new flat-screen would also be mentioned positively. The toilet seat was really very small and should be replaced. The pool was small according to the expectations and it had far too little deck chairs […] (about 10) in relation to the hotel size. The continental breakfast was very rudimentary. Although a staff member was present, the tables were dirty and the sparse buffet was filled only partially. We would recommend the hotel because of location only for passing through, so for one night, but not for a longer holiday stay Lisateave

General: we had a big room, single "huge bed" . Rooms are a little noisy, you can hear people walking in the room above you. Other then that no complaints, front desk staff very friendly and helpfull.

Nice small town hotel, jacuzzi was a little cold but pool was nice town and people were awsome, local dining was amazing.

Second stay at this motel. Satisfactory for our purposes.

Nice large well appointed rooms , good spa and pool. Breakfast has a nice choice of foods for free. It is about 1 hour to Yosemite valley on the twisty river road with the 15min detour traffic light that will be up for a long time.

Good clean hotel, free breakfast good, within walking distance of local shops and restaurants of Mariposa. Will probably stay there again when visiting Yosemite.

It is a nice motel if you are passing thru the area. I would not recommend it because it is NOT close to the park system.

The motel is ok for one night stay. It takes almost one hour to get to Yosemitepark. City of Mariposa is small an nice and has a few nice restaurants. No problems to find a good place for dinner.

We booked a room near by Yosemite because we couldn't find any more room available at the Yosemite Valley. We were very surprised at how closed the hotel is to the Yosemite Village and the room was really clean and comfortable (after a long day of hiking). The only thing we regret was that most of the restaurants were closed by the time that we arrived […] to Mariposa and was no fast food that open late enough. (mid night). alles in allem ganz ordentlich, freundlicher Empfang, sauber, Zimmer mit Klimaautomatik, Frühstücksraum wie fast in allen Hotels dieser Kategorie zu klein für die vielen Gäste, Tische muss man selbst abwischen bei dem Massenandrang, da ist eben auch eine einzige Person vom Personal für den ganzen Frühstücksraum zu wenig, preislich allerdings zu teuer, […] ich denke das ist der Nationalparkaufschlag, obwohl man bis dahin eine gute Stunde fahren muss der Yosemite Nationalpark selbst entschädgt das aber Lisateave

Took about 35 minutes to get to the middle of the park from the hotel, not bad at all even though we went in and out twice. I was disappointed that there is no fridge but that there are signs on the ice machines that you shouldn't use the ice to fill your ice chest. Pool and jacuzzi were great and a big hit with the kids on some hot days. Time the continental […] breakfast well (not 730 to 800) or you'll wait a long time for a Belgian waffle. Lisateave

Hotel soddisfacente, pulito e funzionale con camera spaziosa sufficientemente grande per 4 persone. WiFi molto veloce. La colazione era inclusa ma era scadente. Comunque lo consiglierei per una notte anche perchè è molto vicino all'entrata del parco di Yosemite.

It is not so clos to Yosemite, however it is a great value.

Bien situé avant ou après une balade dans le Yosemite Park, cet hôtel calme mériterait un petit raffraîchissement de la salle de bain, ainsi que de moquette de la chambre... et de la salle pour le petit déjeuner, dont les sièges sont très tâchés. P'ti déj tout à fait correct. Accueil très agréable.

サンフランシスコから車で約3時間。翌日ヨセミテ国立公園に行く為に利用しました。 Mariposa自体は小さい町で、レストランも数えるほどしかありません。夜遅くに到着したため、ピザ屋くらいしかやっていませんでした。 ホテルの向かいには、スーパーがあり、食料品等々が手に入ります。部屋にはコーヒーメーカーもあり、便利でした。

Décoration vieillotte de la chambre. pas de refrigerateur alors que le moindre motel dispose d'un refrigérateur de taille moyenne.Encore déçu par ce 2° "Best Western" aux USA...Pour le rapport Qualité Prix, il est vrai qu'on est à Mariposa...

Nous n'y sommes restés qu'une seule nuit, après avoir fait le Yosemite Park, et nous avons été très satasfaits de cet hôtel. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les lits sont très confortables, la salle de petit déjeuner est grande et il y a pas mal de choix. A recommander, donc.

gutes Hotel, aber etwas zu teuer, dafür dass es so weit vom Yosemite wegliegt

standard in un paesino micoscopico. camera vecchia ma pulita. prima colazione scarsa e scadente, considerando che l' albergo ospita clienti che visiterano un parco nazionale e che avranno bisogno di energia.

Chambre correcte mais petit déjeuner + que médiocre servi sur la table basse de la réception !
