I was going on a trip to Montreal for my birthday, and booked 2 rooms at a decent price, pre-paid on hotels.com, for myself and friends. Once I got to the hotel, however, they charged me an extra $100 fee at check-in, and the lady at the front desk was very rude. Worst shower I've ever had in a hotel, very low water pressure with an inconsistent temperature. […] The TV remote didn't work. And, there were no heavy drapes in my room. The front desk clerk was cheerful and nice. Check in was easy. The elevators are fast enough and the parking garage had ample room for large vehicles. We went to a hockey game and the Bell Centre was about 2 blocks away. St. Catherine St was also 2 blocks away - several restaurants within the same distance - we ate at the Bar-B-Barn on Guy St, 1 block […] away and that was great. The only thing I was not pleased about was the shower water temp was not nearly hot enough. It was warm at best - so if you don't mind a fairly cold shower, this place is fine. The hotel is convenient for shopping, restaurants and bars. In a street facing room, the street noise could be loud in the night with sirens, car horns etc. There were some areas of the hotel that could use some upgrade but our room on the 8th floor was very comfortable. "King bed room nicer than two queen"
I stayed two seperate nights the same week. The King sized bedroom had a larger tv and supplied a bath robe whereas the tweo queen bedroom had no robe and a smaller TV. Good value for its central location downtown Montreal.Kontrollitud Expedia kliendiarvustus

"too old style for my taste"
The staff is great!.. however the hotel's decor is very old and the structure is old. maybe it's my personal taste but it's not modern at all. when i booked the room it was rated at a 10 but i would give it a respectful 4Kontrollitud Expedia kliendiarvustus
