Staff are fantastic despite occassional language problems. The Spa is unbelievable - such nice friendly people. Rooms were cleaned well every day and they even put a cake in my daughters fridge on her 17th birthday!!

Hotel is amazing, and you are guaranteed seclusion and privacy, especially if you stay in a pool or spa villa! The tuk-tuk is really convenient to take you around the hotel, but push yourself to get some exercise. Food service was the biggest disappointment. The food is good, standard breakfast buffet we had in all hotels in Thailand. But they are incredibly […] slow, don't come to your table for an hour or more at a time. Do yourself a favor and when needed, just walk up to the bar and tell them what you need. Also, order just beer or wine - the bartenders are incredibly conservative, to the point where I think all our drinks may have been virgin. Wonderfully exotic and private holiday spot, felt like we were on our own in the middle of the jungle! Room was luxurious and stylish, and our terrace with Jacuzzi completely private! Also the staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble, restaurant and bar were also exceptional with incredible views! Only (tiny) downside is it […] was about 300 steps from our room up to the reception/bar/Restaurant, but SO worth it, and if you're feeling particularly lazy they will come and pick you up in a Tuk Tuk and take you up the hill. Karon beach is an easy 5 minute walk away and is stunningly beautiful, plus a 10 minute tuk tuk ride and you're in the madness of Patong, with some excellent restaurants and nightlife. We stayed at the hotel for 3 weeks for our honeymoon and thought it was the perfect place for us. It is a great location to relax poolside and enjoy happy hour. Located between Patong and Kata, it is easy to head in either direction for a night out. We participated in the Thai cooking class that the hotel offers and enjoyed that. The Food and Beverage […] Manager also allowed us to learn how to make two cocktails when we asked if that was possible. The hotel staff really made an effort to meet every need we had. Maxime and Ti, especially, made it a great and memorable trip for us. There is an office within the hotel that arranges day trips. We really liked Phuket Adventures and would recommend them. However, we would not recommend using Anda Tours for the elephant ride/ATV ride/river rafting. They were a bit unorganized and it just wasn't that great of an experience. We went to the spa located at the hotel twice and enjoyed both visits. Staff there is very nice and professional. It was well worth the money we spent there. Lisateave

From beginning to end we loved our experience at Centara Villas. We loved that we felt like the only guests until we went to breakfast. We loved the gardens with the jungle feel. We loved that our room was always cool when we went back to it. The many steps around the resort did not worry us but we could see how others could not handle this. We only […] used the resort cart to get our luggage to our room and back to the lobby and it was quick each time so can't comment on how it is on a daily basis. Breakfast was lovely and the wait staff were very attentive with the coffee and tea. Great variety of foods and the egg station was quick with orders. We did not want to stay right in town so this suited us perfectly, however if you want to be in the middle of restaurant/massage/markets this is not the place for you. The walk to the beach took us 10-15 mins at a leisurely pace and then 10 mins along the beach to the nearest shops. Great little place on the beach at the bottom of the steps with cold beer and really nice food. Cheap too. Perfect getaway! Lisateave

We stayed at the Villa for 2 nights and were absolutely blown away by the beauty of the place. We had a pool villa and the entire complex overlooks the sea. It is very picturesque. It took about an hour by taxi to get from the airport to the villa and once there Patong is a further 10 minutes away by car/shuttle. The rooms here were wonderful and clean. […] We had a thai cooking class there as well on the balcony overlooking the ocean which was amazing. The staff are very friendly and eager to please. The only downside for some may be that there are LOTS of very steep stairs to climb to get to the lobby, however they do have a complimentary mini bus that you can call and request which collects you from your villa and drops you at the top, on a plus the exercise is good for you and there was no better way to work up your appetite. The spa services were wonderful, we were very sad that we had to leave and will definitely be making our way back in the near future. Lisateave

Our stay in Phuket was a relaxing end to a six week journey traveling in China and Thailand. It was off season when we were there so it was not too crowded and we could always find a chairs by the pool. The beach is a short walk away and but you could not really swim in the water because of the strong rip tide. Other beaches we went to were better for […] swimming but the beach (Karon I think) by Centara Villas was really empty and beautiful. I am not sure how you build a resort on cliff directly on the ocean and not have all the rooms have ocean views but our first one did not. The first room we received had a little window that faced the ocean and the view was covered by foliage. The deck faced the street where the tuk tuk's drive people to and from their rooms. We asked to see other ocean facing rooms and the only ones that were available were one that did not have much privacy and a spa suite with a jacuzi on the patio and amazing ocean views. Both were more than we paid for the original. The spa was twice as much. We opted for the spa suite, even though we were a little tight on cash. There were a lot of stairs at the resort but was not a big deal, and the tuk tuks will pick you up if you need a ride. The spa was amazing! Probably best massage I have ever had. Overall the resort was great, just make sure you know what room you are getting. We saw a lot of other guests trying to change their rooms as well. Lisateave

Nice hotel, but definitely NOT on the beach, in practical terms. At the top of a very steep hill, impossible to walk up to it from nearby Karon beach. Sells itself as being on the beach.....There was a cockroach in the bathroom, which was slightly disconcerting. Great hotel for couples, out of the way but close enough for a short cab ride to either Patong or Karon. Food was just "ok" and very little available for vegetarians, lots of better options available in the local towns. Staff were great.

A wonderful place, superbly set out, wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff, great rooms. The only thing I'd say is that you will need to be mobile to get around as the villas are set against a cliff. That said it makes for superb views from your balcony.

An excellent hotel - except for the steep stairs which connect every villa to the roadways and up to the lobby. Room was beautiful with a nice view of the sea and Karon beach, which is 10 minutes walk along a jungle track from the hotel. The bed was big and comfortable with nice linen. We stayed in spa villa and the jacuzzi was excellent. No one could see into the room and balcony. We could also use to the swimming pool of Centara Grand Beach Resort, which locates downhill near the beach with oneway shuttle service. A public walkway is also linking the beach in less than 10min walk, but closed in 6:00pm.

2 Wochen herrlicher Erholungsurlaub in einer der 7 Poolvillen am Fuße des Berghanges. Die Anlage an sich ist als grünes Tropenparadies wohl die schönste der Gegend. Der Blick von der Terrasse und dem Pool direkt auf den Garten und das Meer ist fantastisch. Die Lage zwischen Karon und Patong ist für Ruhesuchende die beste Möglichkeit, dem hektischen […] Treiben in der Umgebung zu entfliehen. Schließlich ist auch die Logistik kein Problem, denn nach Bestellung eines Taxis in der Lobby ist dieses nach spätestens 5 Min. zur Stelle (nach Karon 200, nach Patong 300 Baht). Ebenfalls hervorzuheben ist der Service der äußerst zuvorkommenden und höflichen Mitarbeiter. Dies gilt auch für die Fahrer des Mini-Car, auf deren (Abhol-) Dienste man im unteren Anteil der Anlage angewiesen ist, denn bei 33 Grad und hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit sollte man auch auf einzelne "Bergbesteigungen" besser verzichten. Dabei sind die sehr empfehlenswerten Poolvillen näher am Fußweg zum Karon Beach (beginnend hinter dem unteren Pool am Bay View Restaurant, 10 Min. zum Strand, geöffnet bis 6 Uhr abends) gelegen. Dort kann die Anlage des großen Nachbarhotels Centara Grand mitbenutzt werden, so daß das Fehlen eines eigenen Hotelstrandes (übrigens in Planung) nicht wesentlich stört. Kleine Schwächen des Hotels sind einzelne "Macken" der nicht mehr ganz neuen, aber ansonsten schönen Einrichtung (daher wohl nur 4 Sterne), eine suboptimale Kommunikation auf Englisch und der einschläfernde Gittarist im oberen Restaurant. Oplagt sted hvis man ønsker at være lidt for sig selv men stadig tæt på bylivet, meget smuk beliggenhed. Hotelpersonalet fantatisk søde og hjælpsomme. Mange trapper, men det giver god træning og er ikke et minus. Hotellet kunne opgradere service ved at tilbyde gratis net ex i lobby eller over det hele.

Vi bokade fem nätter här i jan/feb 2012 och hade det helt underbart! Rummen är fina och fräscha. Poolerna är helt ok med sköna solstolar. Servicen är hur bra som helst. Det kanske bästa med hela hotellet är deras restaurang the cliff som serverar mat som är helt sanslöst god! Observera dock att det är förhållandevis höga priser (500-1000 baht inkl skatter […] och drix) för bra varmrätter, men det är verkligen verkligen värt det! Hotellet ligger på en kulle och ligger för sig själv vilket passade oss perfekt eftersom vi ville ha det lugnt och skönt och bara umgås med varandra. Det är mycket trappor att gå i, men finns skjuts om man vill. Om man vill bada i havet går det en stig mellan poolen och havet som tar max 5 min att promenera. Vill man in till Karon eller phatong går tre gratis turer dagligen dit, dock inte hem. Kostar mellan 200-400 baht att åka taxi till/från phatong om man vill det. Vi kommer definitivt bo här igen om vi åker till Phuket igen, utan tvekan!! Lisateave

Villa basique : chambre double deluxe sans petit dejeuner au mois de décembre. Excellente surprise et aucun regret. personnel accueillant. Lieu et matériel neuf. Si l'on recherche du calme à phuket pour un tarif qui n'implique pas d'avoir gagner au loto, c'est ici. Piscine agréable avec belle vue sur la mer et plage de Karon. Hotel situé 5 à 10 min […] de cette plage par le chemin de falaise qui amène sur l'une des extrémité de la plage alors que l'entrée principal est en son milieu... pas de plagiste à moins de 15 m de soi. Tranquilité qui a un "inconvenient" : utiliser les quelques navettes gratuites pour se faire déposer en ville ou prendre un taxi. Restaurant un peu plus cher à relativiser au prix européen et à un déplacement en ville (prévoir ~400 baht AR pour Karon ou Patong). Mais pour le déjeuner, il ya un restaurant de plage pas cher à l'embouchure du chemin de falaise. Spa au tarif occidental. Service d'activités (James bond island,visite de phuket...) proposé à tarifs respectable (pas plus cher qu'en ville ou sur internet). Déconseillé au personne à mobilité réduite : escaliers et escaliers ( flanc de falaise oblige) bien que service de navette gratuite à toute heure pour rejoindre sa villa,la reception ou les restaurant Pour buller sans souci c'est parfait ! Idéal pour voyage romantique Lisateave

静かで落ち着いた雰囲気でリゾート感一杯でゆっくりすることができました。コテージ風に一軒一軒部屋があり、自然も一杯で海も観れて素敵です。綺麗な部屋ですが周りに緑が沢山なのでアリやクモも出没します。スタッフはみなとても親切ですが、タイ人の気質か南国の気質かのんびりされています。部屋は写真と異なって、期待した天蓋がついてなかったのが残念でした。周りに何もないので不便ですが、静かでゆっくりされたい人にはお勧めです。海が観えるように傾斜になっているのでロビーまでの行き来が大変いい運動になります。
