We expected to have bigger room with a kitchen. They don't alow you to bring any food or beverages on the property, so you spend a great deal of coin with them. its also a major party atmosphere so you better be ready for that. if you want quiet go else where, and dont even think about bringing kids here.

We had a group of people we hosted via GBS Int'l to stay at ME Cabo and are owners at sister property, Casa Dorado. For years we bragged about Casa Dorado and 5 years later finally visiting it, we were so disappointed. As for ME Cabo, the arrogancy of the Passion gal that worked there was ridiculous. She ran it liked she owned it, made up her own rules […] and treated people walking through the resort like peons. The timeshare people were like pit bulls on a dead animal. They wouldn't take no for an answer and threatened us when they had no idea what we had been going through with their own staff members. No one from the hotel staff to the timeshare people at ME Cabo to the Members staff at Casa Dorado communicated with eachother nor with us. Everything we were promised was forgotten, denied or never existed. We were flat lied to and taken advantage from in so many cases in the 8 days we were there. It was the worst customer service we have ever encountered. Not one of our 12 guests will ever go back. Other people that we met pool-side also agreed that they would never go back to ME Cabo. Prices are off-the-hook high, the gift shop sold a 1 liter bottle of water $9 USA in the am and at 4pm sold the same at $4.50. The front desk wouldn't even make a local call for me when I explained I didn't know how to make a local call. Funny, but Casa Azul had no problem making a local call for me - and at no charge. The pool music was techno ALL day EVERY day - everyone was soooo tired of it and only prayed for a little variation! The pool bathrooms were always disgusting - even though we let them know of the situation. The only redeeming factor in our stay was the pool staff. Hugo and Carlos were the most outstanding employees there. They went out of their way to make our stay better. The location is great, but beware that anyone from the beach can come and hang at the pool. Even though you are threatened with a $30 charge if you lose your towel or towel card - anyone else can come Lisateave

Me Cabo is beautiful and has a great location. the big problem is when you stay at the hotel and you have to pay to even lay by the pool. I was there for one week and it was very costly to stay there. I wouldnt have a problem with paying for a nice hotel but to have to pay for a day bed by pool when they were not being used is not good service. I have […] been to Nikki's beach almost everywhere and Nikki's beach in Cabo has horrible servie!!! They are very strict and are not flexable at ALL!!! The people that were coming to Nikki's for the day that werent staying at the hotel were treated alot better. Next time I visit Cabo I will not still in this hotel.I will come for the day to the pool party since they dont care if your spending the money to stay in thier hotel. Lisateave

Great location for adults. Always a party at the pool. Would not suggest kids..Great location, layout and staff..

So, I read other reviews prior to staying at the ME Cabo so I kind of knew what to expect. First off, the staff are very friendly and the hotel is very nice. Other reviews mentioned the techno music at the pool. If you're an older person or someone looking for a resort to relax by the pool then the ME is not for you. Techno music starts blasting from […] about noon until 5pm. The first couple of days it was enjoyable but after a while you get sick of it and the people dancing around drunk to it by the pool. The biggest issues that I had was that I paid for one of the suites. They state that you have a "private" veranda. Technically they're just a deck coming off your room on the pool level. The only thing private about them is the sign stating they're "private". You get zero privacy with this room. It's NOT on a special level or anything either so you get techno music all day coming into your room. If you're unfortunate like I was you get a room right by the night club. This means that you have people about 100 feet from your deck at the outdoor club dancing to techno from about 7pm to 2am every night. The music is extremely loud and the way it's set up it's more or less in a cave the resonates the sound so you can hear everyone's conversation. It also means that get coked out Jersey Shore types sitting on your "private" deck at about 3am that you have to shoo away. The other BIG issue with the suite is that you can't lock the sliding glass door from the outside! So even though the pool/club/etc is right there. You have to go into your room to lock the door and then go out the front door and come down the hallway to get to the thing that you're staring at. Another odd thing that happened was that our TV wasn't working so we called the front desk. No less then 4 people came to "fix" the problem and they brought about 6 channel changers with them. We ended up with 2. 1 was used to turn on the TV and work the volume, the other was used to change the channel. The biggest is Lisateave

Over the years, we have learned that for a Saturday to Saturday visit, it is more cost effective to travel from Friday to the following Saturday instead (based on airfaire). Having said that, our stay was only for one night upon arrival and re-located to our booked resort for the balance of the trip. The Hotel is nice but very overpriced. You are better off buying supplies from Costco or Walmart and bringing them to your room.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. I was so impressed with them the first time, that I convinced all my friends to stay here to. The customer srv was excellent in the hotel though the quality of srv in the restaurant has deteriorated. When you check out, make sure you look at your bill and have them explain it to you. Right next to the town is a bonus first up. no need to take a shuttle. this place is luxurious, clean, well appointed and fun. it has a great vibe and excellent amenities to suit everyone. more for the under 40's crowd looking for a cool place to hang out. right on the beach and just down the road from the mango deck restaurant. this place is brilliant […] and very well priced for what you get. highly recomended. Stayed 4 nights (M-Th) in one of the petite suites on the concierge level. Great deal for the money, as the room was very spacious, included complimentary breakfast, and had a dedicated concierge. Other reviewers complained about the poolside music, and the noise from the Passion Club. Maybe it's louder on the weekends, but it definitely wasn't excessive […] during our stay. It's approx $7 cab ride, or about a 10 minute walk to the downtown bar and restaurants around the marina. Lisateave

Me Cabo is the party hotel, so be warned or excited. It was a fun, the room was great but the music by the pool gets to be a bit much if you're not in party mode and want to hang out with all the "pretty people." Great location and nice hotel, I might stay there again. HOWEVER, pay close attention to the things you charge to the room and to the final […] bill... I was handed a line item summary of charges made, which I reviewed and agreed to and signed. Then, when the front desk staff ran my card he handed me a credit card receipt to sign, it had an extra $110 tacked on. When I inquired why it was different he told me those were mini bar charges... I took nothing from the mini bar. Eventually he took the extra charge off but I had to argue and it took quite a bit of time to check out because of this. It was nice but I might check out a different hotel if I ever go back to Cabo. Lisateave

We moved to this hotel on a friends recommendation. Our original hotel was not up to the ratings on the site. Great hotel with friendly staff. The pool area is great and town is a short walk. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cabo. Only complaints: at check out they said they applied a 20% discount to our bar tab but couldn't show […] us a true breakdown. Also the free Wifi works great except that it logs you out every 10 min and if you are on the beach it doens't work at all. As soon as you step in the sand you lose Wifi. Lisateave

Mostly a younger crowd 20-40 years old I'd say. Often very loud until 3:30 am with that synthetic music pounding, and drunks yelling. My room was facing in (think most are) get ocean view and view of big pool area. I liked my stay which tunred into about a week, but if you want to sleep when the drunks are awake forget it. The hotel and the staff were great. They are very friendly and work hard to make sure all's ok. The only negative is the music that is played over the PA system. It seems that it never changes and is definitely targeted to young people. Our first time to Cabo and ME Cabo. Had a blast! Everything was beautiful and wonderful at ME Cabo and Nikki Beach was a great party at the pool.

We will never stay here again!!! Disco music blaring 16 hours a day, music goes on till 2am Drinks are watered down Food is terrible Just a very bad experience

The Me was a wonderful hotel. The rooms all had patios facing the pool and gardens. Most patios had a view of the ocean at the least partially. Easy access to the beach, roped off for privacy, allowed for all the Playa Medano activities including bars, restaurants and water sports. there's also plenty of shopping to be had on the sand by the numerous […] vendors that traverse the beach selling their particular items from sunglasses, pottery, jewelery, "Cuban" cigars and more. Negotiate the prices start relatively high. The rooms were quiet having been built of concrete.The appliances (TV, AC, safe etc.) were all working well. The patio was comfortable for sitting with a cup of coffee or too just relax. The mattresses were comfortable. A single wood art sculpture accented the mostly white interior of the room. Every morning a swarm of people descended upon the facility manicuring and maintaining the lavish environment. There always appeared to be someone cleaning. The service was impecable from the concierge to the wait staff. Everybody there was determined to make your stay effortless. Kudos to the service. The proximity of the hotel to Cabo San Lucas township made for an easy walk to the center of all the city activities. The marina, shopping mall, bars and night clubs that attract many tourists are just a few blocks from the Me's entrance. The Passion Night Club seems to be an attraction at the Me. From Thursday to Saturday the thumping music could be heard 'til the early morning hours. Sunday through Thursday the tranquillity of the oceans crash onto the shore was pleasingly heard during the evening hours. Also a DJ plays house music in the afternoon at the pool to create a playful atmosphere for all the guests. This may be a bit much for those seeking peace and quiet while lounging next to the pool. An alternative may be to lounge at the beach cabanas. Lisateave

ME Cabo is the place to stay in Cabo. The rooms were nice and we had a great view of Land's End. We did have a leak in our AC unit and they attended to it when we reported it (may have been due to the fact we went during hottest month of year there and had it at 100% for 5 straight days) The service was awesome! They did a great job recommending places […] to eat and who to use for snorkeling, sailing, etc. The Pool was very nice and not too crowded. Pool Bar came in handy and the cabanas around the pool were great to get out of the sun for awhile but still be in the action. It is right on the beach, right next to a place to do activities (snorkeling, jet ski, parasail, etc). It is also real close to the places to hang out on the beach like Mango Bar. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the Marina and the shops. Great location, great view, great staff, great food. It is the place to be, especially for the 20's-30's crowd. Lots of beautiful people. (It did have a range of people there though...retired, young, old, families...but mostly young adults. Lisateave

Excelente Hotel gran ubicación, instalaciones excelentes, el unico detalle que tuve y que no me agrado es que el 90% de las personas que utiliza la alberca no son huespedes abren la puerta a cualquiera y desgraciadamente en la alberca tuve pésimo servicio ya que les interesa mas quedar bien con gente diferente a los huespedes algunas veces imposible […] pedir algo ya que estan ocupados con los demas.
