Beaufort Hotel - London

A marvelous bijou hotel, but everything is for Lilliputians. Room was very small but OK once one got used to it. Wash basin just big enough but nowhere to store things. Where do the soap and shampoo go in the shower? No bedside table. Nice staff and a great location. Very pretty hotel. What is it that British Hotels have with the TV in the rooms? None […] of them work. "The technician will be arriving first thing tomorrow" is the excuse I have had in Oxford, London, Bristol, Heathrow and others. Didn't Mr. Baird, a Brit, invent TV? Surely they must have got it working by now, but no. I will certainly return, but I'd like to watch telly next time. Lisateave

It was indeed an excellent stay at this hotel for our wedding anniversary. Staff was friendly and helpful and the one small problem we had with the heating was fixed in minutes !! Well done...you will see us soon !!

First time here and would definitely go again. Clean and lovely, staff exceptionally helpful. Good place and great location. The lounge was great: coffee, tea, wine, sodas, snacks. Lovely.

I was in London on business. The hotel was an easy walk to the Tube as well as several nice little places to eat. nearby transportation places most all of London at your disposal. The court where the hotel is located is a mixed residential area making it very quite and pleasant. The hotel staff were all quite helpful and pleasant. I can't think of […] a single complaint. Arriving at the room was humorous. As the night clerk showed the amenities neither the safe nor the TV remote worked - though I'm not certain if there really were mechanical difficulties or the young gent himself. The room was warm. I went to the window to open it and found it already open. It remained open for the rest of the week, the room remained warm. It was March. The room I was in was a single, I believe it was the least expensive (still not cheap!), and had a very small window. It was small even by London or New York standards and easily the smallest room I've had (Exec Platinum Flier). Since there wasn't room for a dresser, I never really unpacked. The desk was a table. The desk chair was your basic four leg inexpensive dining room chair. It was a great night stand since there was no room for night stands either. For the price, there are larger, more open room layouts around London. However, since this trip was short notice, those were not an option this time. If I had to be in the room for any length of time, I'm not certain I could. Fortunately my schedule kept me out and about. I am not a slight man but I fit in an economy airline seat with the tray table down (ok, it's snug). If you are larger than I am, you will not enjoy this room nor will you likely be able to fit in the bathroom. If you are able to avail yourself, the hotel has a tea every afternoon and an open bar every evening. I was told that even when the bar (a well stocked cabinet beside the front desk :) isn't open, that I should feel free to come down and the desk would open it for me. Better than a mini bar! The location of the Hotel was good and the hotel was comfortable. However, the hotel staff needs to think before placement of guests. We were a couple in our late 50's and the staff put the children of a large family all on our floor. The parents were on a different floor. As a result there were kids running up and down the hall, slamming doors, talking […] loud, knocking on doors and blaring their tv's until past midnight every night we were there. We asked the front desk to please quiet the kids down, but it was not done. Finally, the drains in the bath were clogged so showering was interesting. We won't stay there again. Lisateave

El Beaufort está ubicado en una calle de un altísimo nivel, a sólo dos cuadras de Harrods y a un paso de muy buenos restaurantes, cafes, boutiques y estaciones del metro. La atención del personal es insuperable en cordialidad, simpatía y eficiencia. El hotel está muy bien equipado y mi habitación, aunque un poco pequeña, era clara y bien ventilada. No […] me imagino utilizar otro hotel diferente en mi próximo viaje a Londres. Lisateave

Hotellet er fint og personalet gjør virkelig mye for at du føler deg velkommen. Beliggenheten er super midt i sentrum av London, Gåavstand til utstillinger og museer. Eneste, men stort problem er at det er lite mulighet til å sove, det er nemlig uvanlig lydt. Bare naboen låser seg inn eller ut er det veldig lett å våkne, ikke så hyggelig når de skjer […] 3-4 ganger på en natt. Jeg ville heller valgt et hotell jeg hvor jeg kan sove. Lisateave
