hotel was excellent. all employee were very polite and friendly.service was excellent. king size bed wAS very confortable. free breakfast was great. i would definity go there again.

The point of this hotel was the pool with jacuzzi but jacuzzi not working and the manager said since it has a paper tht says out of order I was out of luck

Used purely as an overnighter prior to catching early plane. Totally adequate for this purpose. I would not use it for a longer stay.

Loved it here - after a long trip we were greeted with cool washcloths and juice upon arrival - very refreshing and a nice touch! The room was beautiful.. clean..comfortable beds. Sushi bar with very good sushi was just enough to eat late at night. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff was warm and helpful. We will definitely go back again!

The hotel was very nice. And the staff were excellent. Some of them did not speak English very well so it made communication a little difficult. I did change rooms late at night because the 1st. Room was on the back side of. The hotel next to some loud equipment outside. The second room was fine but in the middle of the night,water started leaking from […] the vent from the air conditioning. I had to turn off the air so the leak would stop. The late night front desk person did. Not understand when I called to tell them because of the language barrier. The free breakfast was excellent. The Hampton Inn is a good all round hotel and an excellent pitstop in Guayaguil.. Complimentary shuttle to airport, full breakfast - cereal, fruit, juices eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. Only complaint was poor water pressure and tepid water in the shower at 6 am but the staff said there was some maintenance issue being looked at which had caused this.

Our experience was exactly what we would have expected from a Hilton Inn hotel, nothing more or less although the view and and location was perfect if anyone is looking to stay in central Guayaquil, you could just walk right out the front door and start walking, anywhere, also, the room service was on the spot, it seemed like they would just be waiting […] right outside you door with whatever you need, thanks again... People and the place was A 1...after a long flight you are greeted with hotel staff with a warm towel and a glass of juice...too nice. Its the small things that make a big deal.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There is a free shuttle to/from the airport and also a free breakfast which was great!

I was in the third floor room#305, smoking room, everything were all okay. BUT, I do not suggest smokers to live in this side of the hotel, 303,305 would facing a fan operating all-day-long by some other building's. If you gonna open the window, a funny meat smelling would came in your room. The window's okay, once its closed, you didn't hear that much […] noise, barely only. This hotel located in a super place, KFC just cross the street, MC will be at your left front side, the same building but at the ringt side has a chinese restaurant. Lot of people, a lot, so polices are everywhere, even walking in the night is safe. I will come back to hotel, for sure. Lisateave

The service in the hotel was excellent, with a strong wifi signal and good security. The restaurant was very nice with excellent food and service. The location of the hotel is good, as it is in central downtown within easy walking distance of the Malecon and parks. If we return we will stay here again.

the shuttle was there to pick us up from the airport at 1:30 AM.. our flight was delayed... ease of checkin, room perfect.. breakfast was over the moon good.. ALL services were eyone our expectations. thanks so much.. felt safe and welcomed from all the staff.

We arrived early (9:30 a.m.), well before regular checkin time, but they got a room ready for us and let us check in that early, to our surprise. They also gave us an INCREDIBLE and free buffet breakfast as part of the deal. Finally, VERY friendly staff to us Americans in Ecuador.

I liked it very much, and the food was really great, the breakfast was good, and for dinner or lunch I really recomend the restaurant, we went to other restaurants in the city, but after try the food in the hotel, we were thinking that we should had ate in the restaurant every time. Having already stayed here between Lima and Galapagos, I was satisfied enough to stay another night between Galapagos and Cuenca. Very centrally located for exploring what there is to see in downtown Guayaquil; a couple of blocks from the Malecon and also from the cathedral. Excellent breakfast and good dinner menu.

Excellent location if you want to stay in downtown Guayaquil for a day or two; not much to see though in downtown Guayaquil. Wonderful breakfast and other meals in the hotel restaurant. Initially had some problems with air-conditioning, TV and WiFi but they were addressed quickly and satisfactorily by staff coming to my room. Comfortable bed and large […] bathroom. We never stay at American chains in foreign countries, but we had one night in Guayaquil, which we'd heard has sketchy safety, and had been on the beach with mosquito nets and no AC for a week. We had one sight to see: the Malecon. It turns out this hotel is just a few blocks from the Malecon, and the room was the typical Hampton Inn comfort -- which […] is living like a king in this city for the price. The breakfast buffet (included) was colossal, with the standard American fare plus Ecuadorian favorites. Best of all, when one of our group needed to go the airport, their shuttle driver changed his schedule to take her, then waited for us for 20 minutes while we got her checked in, just to save us the cab fare -- fabulous. This was an above average Hampton Inn. The breakfast was superb with a much wider range of choices than usually given. Staff were excellent and the room was large and very comfortable. After a 2 weeks and 8 hotels . . . arriving at the Hampton was like coming home. We were met at the airport and delivered back without any fuss.

The staff at the Hampton Inn Downtown Guayaquil were outstanding. From the airport shuttle driver (which is free) to the front desk to the cleaning staff, they were all extremely helpful and friendly. It was nice having someone at the front desk at all times that spoke English. Comfy beds, clean rooms, close to many attractions (Cathedral, Iguana Park, […] Malecon), and an awesome complimentary breakfast buffet - I would definitely stay at this hotel again. We were even given a a "breakfast to go" (apple, muffin, cereal bar, bottled water) to take to the airport with us when we checked out at 3:45am. We were very, very happy with our stay. Lisateave

We stayed at this hotel for one night, arriving late and leaving early, but we had enough time to be impressed by the front desk staff (helpful in getting us checked in very late and recommending a van service to Cuenca) and to enjoy a wonderful breakfast in the morning - the best one of our trip.

I like this Hotel because the attention of the personnel on the Hotel. Also cleaning of the whole Hotel was awesome. The waterfront 2000 the river Guaya is near the Hotel just walk the 9 de Octubre.

Above and beyond the local competition, from the juice and facial towels ( its very hot some days ) at check in to the gym and outstanding breakfast we had a very relaxing experiance. We stayed again on the way back from Salinas. English is spoken by most if needed. High recommended.
