I booked here because they have an indoor pool. It was closed for maintenance. That should have been disclosed. The WIFI signal was poor and often dropped. On the plus sise the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was OK.

Overall not bad. The area was a bit shady and I can she where some people would be concerned staying in the area. My biggest compliant is that in the middle of the night a buzzer started going off every 2 minutes or so. I'm not sure if it came from a nearby room or the vending area which was right outside my door. I had to download a white noise app […] on my phone to drown it out enough where I could sleep. Spent 2 weekends back to back recently. Staff always very friendly & helpful. At first glance rooms were updated with nice linens & large screen TVs & provided conveniences such as microwave, refrig & coffee maker- but on closer look- renovations were done hurriedly: tiling floor in bathroom was caulked in, bathtub units had soft spots & cracks around […] base; AC units were not fit into walls, leaving big gaps; floor lamps available, but no place to plug them in & furniture worn or weak. HOWEVER-There were no sightings of bedbugs in either rooms! Only 1 ice machine working for 3 floors. Breakfast was the usual & OK. For the most part- we overlooked these material things & were pleased with the location close to highway & our destination, not to mention convenience of restaurants, stores & movie theater. They gave us the wrong room at first and we had to switch to another room. Hotel needs a lot of TLC but it was confortable and clean.

I spent 5 nights there in the past 5 weeks for business. The rooms were clean, albeit dated and a tad rundown. The breakfast had hot and cold options. The warm cinnamon rolls and pancakes were really good. I only stayed there during the week and the hotel was quiet despite the many overnight guests. There is a nearby Hampton Inn which costs a little […] more but offers a free manager's snack (aka meal) at dinnertime. The breakfast tasted better and there were more offerings. The rooms smelled fresher than the Express. The outside doors required a keycard to activate at the Hampton whereas the Express never locked theirs. Lisateave

It was alright for the price, but the room did smell funny. other than that the pool was nice, and the free breakfast was pretty delicious. The bed was comfy, but the hotel itself is a little run down. Overall it was OK.

Great for the money. Clean rooms and nice staff. The only downside was the fitness equipments. Only four machines and all were either broken, outdated, or lousy.

TV remote didn't work, phone didn't work correctly, keys didn't work correctly and had to be replaced; a/c / heat unit worked but was very loud on some settings. Had to call down to have them remove trash. On the other hand, staff very nice and friendly, hotel overall was clean and in good central location. Beds comfortable and place was quiet. First of all, the service the night we checked in was wonderful. The woman working the desk was attentive, competent, and very kind. The employees the following morning, however, were a different story. The gentlemen behind the desk never once looked up nor said anything to us. The guy working the breakfast area was too lazy to push a button on the […] pancake maker to enable the machine to make pancakes for my 9 year old. Once I pushed the correct buttons, the machine worked without problems. He complained the entire time about the pancake machine and wasn't even going to turn it on if we hadn't said something. The food was mediocre at best. I know I'm not paying for gourmet food, but this stuff was gross. If you're going to advertise a hot breakfast, you have to make said breakfast edible. The hotel is old and is in need of renovation. The wallpaper is stained, dirty, and is peeling. Old CRT TVs were still in the rooms and in the lobby. The hair dryer looked like it was from the 80s. The place was as clean as it could be - I saw no bugs or anything like that at all. I did like a few things about the hotel. The indoor pool was very nice and enjoyable for my son. The shower head was nice and didn't make it feel like needles stinging my skin. I slept well and didn't feel unsafe traveling as a mom and her son. Overall, I don't think this particular hotel was worth what I paid for it. If it were $20 less, I would have been much more pleased and much more willing to come back. Lisateave

This place was shockingly very nice and we are planning to go back to visit soon. They serve a awesome breakfast in the morning, no continental there. They have a nice fitness room, which is close to the pool. Your kids can swim and have a great time, while you are working out. The rooms were great and the staff was wonderful. I absolutely loved their […] beds. They had plenty of fluffy pillows and the beds were so soft and comfortable. I was shocked how nice it was, for the price we paid. I have stayed at other places, for a lot more money and they didn't have all that this place had to offer. It's very close to Lexington. This was my first time at this hotel, came to see Rolex, and will plan to book this hotel next year if I come back. Hotel staff awesome, couldn't have been so nice and helpful. Room extreemly clean, beds comfortable, location quiet. The pool was wonderful althought the first night there were some very rambusious young ladies who could have treated the […] other guest with more respect. The next night I think they were too worn out, didn't see them and the pool was very nice/quiet. The pool sides did need to be clean. The only complaint would be that out side door to hotel lock not working. Other than pool and door stay was fantastic. Hope to be able to come back and stay next year during Rolex:) Lisateave

The personell at the hotel were extremely nice and accomodating. The use of the pool and tv area was very nice since we were part of a larger group. We were able to eat together and watch the game in the breakfast area.

My daughter and I were in town for a one night's stay. The hotel staff were extremely nice and accomadating. Really, the only negative thing was the phone in my room didn't work. I reported that and everyone was very nice.

I stayed in the hotel with my two boys as I was in town to watch my youngest play basketball. The staff was more than courteous and the facilities were very clean. We enjoyed the pool as it was very comfortable. Looking forward to traveling back for a stay in the Holiday Inn Express

The hotel is very conveniently accessed from the Interstate. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff very helpful and friendly, especially the young lady who fixed the included breakfasts which were very adequate. The hotel is in need of a number of minor room repairs to electrical outlets and the like. It's beginning to show its age a bit.

The people were great and breakfast was wonderful. The pool and the showers were nice also. The only thing was the room was not as clean as it could have been and for the price I expected it to be a lot nicer. But I would stay there again.

I arrived at 2am and the clerk put me in a room without a working air conditioner. I was told that the air was not working on the entire floor but they continued to put people into the rooms on this floor. The clerk claimed that the room air conditioners were working. My air conditioner only functioned for short periods of time all night. I was told […] this the only room they had for me to stay in and could not return my money.
