I stayed at this hotel with my big sister for 3 days. It's not too far from the Zurich HB (13 mins walk) but easily accessible by the tram which runs just by the hotel. We were lucky to have been given rooms where we couldn't hear the noise from the tram and cars on the street. We were warmly welcomed by a nice and friendly young lady at the reception […] who could speak English thankfully and she was extremely helpful in telling us all we needed to know and provided us with information on how to set up the free wifi. Wifi speed was excellent! Glad I could post pictures from the trip to facebook and instagram to keep my family and friends updated. The hotel provided free breakfast, buffet, which wasn't too bad, limited choices though if you're a fussy eater like me. Food is generally expensive in Zurich so I appreciate the breakfast. There's an elevator which is quite small for 2 with luggages. But at least it worked at all times. Our double bed room was neat and cosy, had an air condition for when it's too warm which came in handy because it got surprisingly warm during the evenings, and this was March! Room came with a referigerator stocked up with drinks of all sorts and of course not for free.lol. But please walk down to the nearest local shop for drinks instead as you don't want to be paying almost $6 for a lil bottle of water. Small cute shower, not recommended for couples who want to shower together. I will stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to all. Lisateave

OK. Nice and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Surprisingly, NO office service of any kind (i.e. photocopying, printing etc.,). A strong disadvantage for a professional nan.

We got a good deal through expedia for 2 nights for a super expensive city. - Good location, its based in a quiet neighbourhood, tram stop is just a minute away.Tram 7 from Zurich HB (Main Station) and Tram 15 from Zurich Central gets you there in 3 minutes, pretty safe at night too - Breakfast was good enough, did lack hot products though - Double […] Room was surprising larger than I thought, very clean as well, only the aircon was in a strange position (just being picky) - Wireless internet service was good too Tip - there is a supermarket (COOP) at Central station where you can some basic stuff for your trip pretty cheap Overall we were were happy with the hotel and would recommend to visitors. The first night we realized the cleaning staff forgot to leave soap in the shower (they have the liquid kind) as the container was empty. We went downstairs and asked the front desk to give us some soap. She told us we had to wait till next day to get the soap from the cleaning crew. Come on! We just arrived after several hours in a train and we needed […] to shower! So we showered without soap! By the way this liquid soap is also used as the shampoo. Hotel with no soap/shampoo? On the map the hotel shows closer to the airport that it is. It was a 50 Fr ride. The service was very satisfactory and the breakfast excellent. It is a long walk to any activity and recommend you use the trams to move around. The hotel is an excellent 3 star hotel with a 25 Fr shuttle service to the air port.

Good location. Very clean. We had a room that looked down the street towards the lake. Bathroom had nice large windows for light and ventilation. Breakfast was also great! Helpful concierge.

For the price, especially in switzerland this place is great. Our room was very spacious, clean - wish we could have stayed longer! If you walk up from the train be aware its pretty steep but takes only about 10-15 minutes. The old city is about 10 minutes downhill - the hotel neighborhood is quiet, but pretty. `

Staff very rude and impolite, rooms extremely noisy as on the main road where trams are running late into the night every minute. I would definitely NOT stay there again. If you would like to have a relaxing stay, you will be better off staying in another hotel.

This hotel might seem slightly out of the city on a map but with tram and bus stops only 100m away and being on the major #7 route into the train station and shopping streets it is ideal for getting into the city for those meetings or for pleasure. The room I had was on the first floor and very spacious with minibar and pleanty of space for plugging […] in laptops and other electrical equipment that would need charging. The Breakfast was superb with both a continental and local Swiss products available with ample coffee and juices for those wanting to start the day. The staff I encountered from cleaners through to breakfast servers and all the reception staff were all curtious and all spoke good English if needed or you were not fluent in German. Lisateave

This hotel has some good reviews so I was expecting something alot nicer. The room was modern in decor and clean but not the most exciting of stays. There were not even basic tea/coffee making facilities or slippers and the shampoo/body wash was the kind that you normally get in the cheapest UK hotels (in an upturned squeezy bottle attached to the wall). […] The shower in the bathroom had good water pressure but there were some black damp spots around the corners of walls. The only English speaking channel on the TV was CNN and the restaurant was not open for evening meals. However, we were told about 3 local restaurants nearby though. The hotel itself is a tram ride from the city centre in a residential area so fairly easy get to. However the trams go right past the hotel and are very noisy until the service stops. Breakfast was a nice cold food buffet and there was a good choice. We had stayed in a different hotel a few streets away that same week, for the same price range, and got much more luxury for our money. Hotel is really close to Marriott and an easy walk to town. Rooms are large and bathrooms good. Unfortunately, the hotel is on the street-train route...great for travel to distant parts of Zurich but very noisy at night. When booking/checking in, ask for a room along the back alley of the hotel. You can still hear the street cars, but its a bit better […] than being in the front and on the street. Très bon hôtel au rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel. Chambre confortable, sans bruits, petit-déjeuner copieux et varié, personnel très accueillant et efficace. Situation idéale dans quartier tranquille et juste à côté des transports publics et parking gratuit devant l'hôtel.

Ueber Internet. Das Hotel ist Nachts staendig sehr laermig was den Schlafsehr schwierig macht. Wuerde nicht nochmals Dort uebernachten da auserdem zu Teuer fuer eine Einfache Uebernachtung.

Litet, lugnt och stillsamt hotell i lugnt område, men bara 5 min. med spårvagn eller 20 min. promenad från centrum, Hauptbahnhof och restaura ngkvarter. Det enda jag saknar är en bastu.

Das Zimmer war bei meiner Ankunft nicht geheizt, draussen herrschten - Temperaturen. In der Nacht herrschte im Hotel oder in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft ein reger Betrieb, so etwas wie eine Spedition oder ähnliches. Ansonsten sauberes Hotel, das Bad renoviert, Frühstücksbuffet OK.

Das Hotel ist in einer sehr schönen Wohngegend gelegen. Anbindung an Zentrum von Zürich leicht, schnell und direkt mit Tram. Habe Hotel gewählt, weil es Parkplätze anbietet. Parken gleich beim Ankommen vor dem Haupteingang etwas beengt, weil Parkplätze hinter dem Haus nicht sichtbar. Zimmer klein aber fein, neu renoviert. Small but very clean and newly renovated room and bathroom. Great breakfast. Arriving close to midnight I felt safe walking all the way from the central station. But there was a tram that I could have chosen as transportation. There is a nice terasse to spend time working on your laptop at or just having a glass of wine. Wifi is free. wir hatten ein Dachzimmer (Juniorsuite), dadurch supertolle Aussicht auf die Altstadt und den Zürichsee!!! Ausgezeichnet!!! Nachteil: bei Hitze ist das Zimmer sehr warm und auch mit dem im Zimmer befindlichen Klimagerät, welches sehr laut war, hatten wir etwas Mühe zu erträglicher Raumtemperatur zu kommen.Also im Hochsommer schwierig... Zustand des […] Zimmers und des Hotels war neuwertig und angenehm modern.Alles sehr sauber und im Frühstücksraum, wo man leider dicht an dicht sitzt, wenn es voll ist, waren stets Stofftischdecken auf den Tischen und der Service war bemüht einen zu umsorgen.an Wenn die beiden älteren Zwillingsschwestern Dienst hatten war immer alles auch ohne Nachfrage vorhanden, oder wurde unaufgefordert nachgelegt. Bei einer jüngeren Bedienung geschah das nur auf Nachfrage, dann aber emsig.Super war die Kaffeemaschine, der man immer starken Kaffee entnehmen konnte.Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Lage: Das Hotel liegt optimal um kurz in das Kunstviertel nahe der Limmat zu spazieren und man ist auch zu Fuß in rund 5-10 min am Centraal - für einen Wochenendaufenthalt für eine Stadterkundung bestens geeignet - Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist direkt vor dem Hotel. Generell ist die Gegend rund um die Wienbergstrasse gekennzeichnet von alten Herrschaftshäusern […] und kleinen Gassen, welche zum abendlichen Schlendern einladen. Rezeption: Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und auch bei kleinen Sonderwünschen war das Personal ganz offen. . Zimmer: Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 4.Stock mit Blick nach Westen. Straßenbahn liegt vor dem Hotel - störte uns aber nicht. Das Zimmer war klein und fein und sauber. Wer sich ein Luxusappartment erwartet wird enttäuscht sein, aber für das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis (inkl. Frühstück) hätten wir uns nichts besseres vorstellen können. Das Bett war super bequem - eine mobile Klimaanlage sorgte für angenehme Temperaturen. Außentemperatur betrug bei uns nächtens ca. 12°, sodass wir die Anlage nicht benutzen mussten - für einen Dauerbetrieb könnte die laute Anlage möglicherweise störend sein (muss nicht in allen Zimmern so sein!). Frühstück: Kaffee & O-Saft samt Kipfli&Co - war alles da, was das Herz begehrt & mit sagenhafter Geschmacksqualität (vorallem der Käse!) Gesamteindruck: Würden das Hotel immer wieder buchen - Lage und Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für Züricher Verhältnisse optimal. Lisateave
