Hampton Inn Houston - Brookhollow - Houston

For the price we paid, I wasn't expecting much. The room was large and clean, and the breakfast was truly a breakfast. They had oatmeal, cereal, eggs, bacon, fruit, hashbrowns, etc. We were blown away. We visit Houston often, and this will be our go-to hotel from now on.

Pillows weren't the best, and pool was outdoors. The room was quiet despite children being on the floor. Breakfast options were better than average. Near dining and shopping options. Staff was friendly and offered us bottled water, which was good because the tap taste was awful. Water pressure was decent. Overall, better than average.

I needed a hotel to stay in for a night since I did not want to drive home and then back to chaperone an event. I arrived and was checked in by Marco. He was very pleasant and explained what was available in the hotel (small fitness room, pool, wi-fi, etc.). The room was cold when I entered, but I turned the AC down. The room was spacious and the bathroom […] nice. The area is safe which was a concern for me since I was returning late in the evening. Everything was fine and you have to use a key to get in the hotel doors (excluding the front). In the morning I had breakfast which was good. They had fruit, an assortment of cereals, different juice choices, muffins, toast, pancakes, sausage, and eggs. Ms. Dee was fantastic making sure food was always stocked and checking to see if people wanted bottled water. She also kept the dining and food selection area pristine! When I checked out Jada assisted me and and it was very quick just like check-in. My overall stay was better than I expected as I am particularly picky. If you need a place to stay in the Brookhollow area I would suggest this and I will use them again. Lisateave

We stay here for 3 nights the staff was really friendly, breakfast was really good. Rooms were clean it was a very good experience. Its close to movie theaters and food which was really good.

The whole staff was very friendly and greeted you each day by name. My only complaint was it was further from the Hobby Houston Airport than I thought.

The rooms would have been a 4 if bathroom tub wasnt so dirty, need a microwave in room, but all n all its ok for price, would stay again....

The staff at the front desk was very helpful. Our room did not have a working TV, it would not come on for us and immediately the personnel left the desk and came to assist our needs. We did not hear ANY road noise, we were doubtful to stay there cause of previous reviews. The only noise we heard was the maid with the vacuum at 9:30 am in the hall, after opening the door and looking at her, she stopped. On a Sunday I would have preferred to sleep a lil later. The only reason why I did not give a 5 is because the road noise was SOOOO loud. you can hear every car passing by. Eventually though, it rocked me to sleep so I will not complain too bad. The check in was super fast. The clerk was super friendly and very helpful. I loved the room. The beds were comfortable, the restroom was the best part. It was huge. Not like most hotel restrooms were the shower is right against the toilet. It had a full size mirror. Oh and the breakfast was delicious. The waffles and the omelet

I booked Two Rooms and LOVED IT. The only concern I had was the road noise. Walls were thin and I could hear every car... till it rocked me to sleep, lol... The Staff was Awesome, the Breakfast was amazing for the price of the Hotel and the Breakfast Lady made it all worth while.

Good stay, had previous sleepers wash cloth hanging over shower nozzle. Maid kept letting neighboring doors slam as she left each room as she went in and out to clean them. Nice front desk folks. Other than that good stay.

Room was nice - 2 queen beds instead of 2 double beds usually at most places, was very nice for family of 4. Breakfast attendant was outstanding! Took great care of all customers and the food was very good as well. Actually all of the staff were excellent. For the money, a great spot.

Overall my stay was really nice. The room was clean and nice and the staff was friendly. I really take exception to the practice of any hotel taking or holding money out of my account for any reason before services have been rendered or purchases have been made. In this case they took $50.00 out of my account to cover phone calls or use of laundry. […] It made no difference that I told them I was not going to use either. I am a businessman not a college Spring Break student and in thirty years have never caused damage to a room that would require a Billion dollar Hotel chain to spend money on repairs. I felt like they pre-judged everyone with the potential to wreck their room and charged them accordingly. Yes they put the money back in your account but only after they inspect your room and make sure you didn't use the phone. What happened to trust or true customer service and relations? It was exceptional. Hotel staff was courteous, except for breakfast hostess, a little too crasp; however for the most part ---- stay was terrific. Accommodations were pleasant and quite. Enjoyed the comfy bed!

Really close to the city center, excellent choice of restaurants in neighborhood, impeccable rooms, wonderful service and the sweetest and kindest breakfast hostess ever. She will make you feel at home and absolutely spoil you. Thank you, ma'am, you're awesome.

Got a last minute deal on Hotels.com. Price was great and the room was very nice. Breakfast was good. Bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed was a bit lumpy. Still it was a very good location and great value and very friendly staff. I would go back.

I left a map inside the room on checkout. I came back later in the day when I remembered it and it had been thrown in the trash and was all wet. It was clearly not trash and I can't understand why they would throw it out, but the worst part was the fact that the staff didn't really take much interest in finding it. I was there for over an hour before […] I told them to look in the trash, which is where they found it. This was poor customer service and I won't stay there again, even though it is the nicest hotel in the area. Lisateave
