The hallways were somewhat dirty. Not what I would expect for a resort. Also, I was disappointed to find that there were no dishes nor utensils in the kitchenette.

It was an excellent experience for the grandkids. The bed was very uncomfortable and could not get a good night sleep. It was bumpy.

The staff was friendly. The shuttle was broken down so they were using a car service for trips to the Disney parks. It was a little chaotic, but they were trying to be very accommodating. The kids loved getting slimed!

Very disappointed!! Hotel was run down, construction/remodel going on, poor response to issues, and not worth the money. After being detoured around construction, we found our room..... when we entered the room was NOT clean, faucet in the sink was running and almost overflowing, beds made with sheets from previous guest ( hair in bed, wrinkled sheets) […] Toilet was full of hair and feces, and the room smelled horrible! Called to switch rooms, they said they would call back and never did.... half hour later I called again and they said the bell hop was on his way. We were hungry and tired from our flight and needed dinner. 25 min. later as we were leaving.... we were greated at the elevator and taken to another room. This was cleaner, but... the rugs were damp from being cleaned, the sink exploded water at us whenever turned on, and the shower ran dark brown water for 10 minutes before we could get clear water to shower with. The pool and water park were NEVER open the almost 2 days we were there. Do your homework before following these ratings!! The theme was nice, and breakfast was decent, but definately not worth the money! Lisateave

I will NOT stay at the Nickelodeon Resort, again. It was overpriced including food. The total tab was $200.00, which $50.00 was resort fees and I paid an additional $25.00 for an upgrade. The room was satisfactory, but the tvs in each room were having issues and they forgot to provide us with a crib! The pools were extremly overcrowded. The room was way over priced. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. The water in the shower would not get hot. I advised the person at the front desk and was told someone would be up to look at it. They must have waited until after we left to fix it. Even though my daughter did love the pool, we will not be staying at this hotel again.

loved the waterslide and slime bucket (6 and 7 year olds did!) staff was very friendly, especially housekeeping. Everyone went out of their way to make sure your stay was fun. The pools are wonderful but the rooms, while clean need some updates. The furniture has seen much better days. The hard sell on time shares by the staff at the guest services desk that you needed to use for passes etc. was a major turn off. Overall the kids were thrilled but the adults were less so.

This hotel was definitely not worth what we paid. The hotel is run down, it's equivalent to a $49 per night Econolodge. The pool and slides are great, however, there were way too many people in the pool. Apparently the hotel charges non-guests $17 per day to take advantage of the pool. There were so many people in the pool that there was absolutely […] no personal space, smaller kids get splashed and trampled. Forget about finding a pool chair also. There we so many people in the pool that it was kind of gross. We paid an additional $25 per night for a “themed room”, which was basically no different from a regular room, aside for “one” small wall painted with SpongeBob characters. I was a little hesitant after reading the mixed reviews. But after experiencing the hotel for myself, I have no idea how anyone can give this hotel more than 3 stars. I don’t think it’s even worth that. My advice to anyone considering staying at the Nickelodeon is, unless you’re finding a deal for less than $80 a night I wouldn’t bother. From a kid's perspective, it was great. Lots of pool & water slide activities. We got to be in the local version of Double Dare! Getting slimed was the highlight of my son's vacation. From an adult's perspective, the hotel could use a refresh. It is quite warn and grungy feeling. Food options on sight are limited. Found the facility to not be as clean as we were expecting (especially pool area), pool towels were thin-old-& stained, staff seemed like they were forcing a smile, and food wasn't great. Overall we were pretty disappointed and won't find ourselves visiting again :(

We had a great time here for SPring Break with my 2 boys, 5 & 7. I wasn't expecting much after reading the reviews, but it was MUCH better than I had hoped. Pool and water slides are HEATED !! The weather was much cooler than usual when we went, so the heated pool and waterslides were great !! Nick Live show at the pool was fun and entertaining. Room […] was clean and comfy with kitchen, so we could eat breakfast and snacks in. Ninja Turtle dinner was expensive, but worth it as my kids loved the show. Food was above average. I took my son here for the experience (water slides, something not Disney). I had always imagined a great hotel. Our room was falling apart. Blinds broken, holes in the carpet, dingy old bath tub. The room was very pretty but looks aren't everything. Beds were uncomfortable and the water pressure in the bathroom sink took you forever to wash hands and brush teeth.

This is the second year in a row we stayed here. Last year was just 2 days but he kids loved it so much we went back. Great for the kids, a bit loud for adults. Not a huge food selection and the quality of the food is a little below mid range but the pricing for the food was ok for an Orlando hotel. Used the free shuttle service quite a few times. Everything […] went smoothly but be sure to be on time or they will leave without you. If you have a car or rent one everything is in the immediate area. Room was clean and the beds were good. The pull out couch was not so comfy. Could have used extra pillows and a few more blankets since it was chilly our first few days there, Recommend for families with children 10 or 11 and under. Our documentation indicated check in was 4pm. At Arrival, waited in line for an hour, and were told that we would receive a text when our room was available. This was already 4pm, she promptly replied, "that is not a guaranteed check in time". Asked if they could give me an estimated time as to when the room would be available. They could not, so we […] got our swim suits, went to the public bathroom to change, got to the overcrowded pool, THEN received the text that our room was ready. Our room was in building 2, close to the smaller pool. The room stunk, not typical musty, wet, swim suit smell, it smelled like a rotten refrigerator. The 2 twin bets were gross and they squeaked, the queen in the master sunk in the middle. I did not complain or ask for a new room, because I knew there was nothing else available. Housekeeping was hit and miss, they didn’t leave coffee or coffee cups, they would leave towels with no wash cloths, and one day they didn't make it to the room until 6pm. Yet on check out day when you get until 11 to leave, they sure did stop by every 10 minutes starting at 9am to see if we were gone. We enjoyed the smaller pool, except for the horrible fact that it was a crowded spring break and our pool closed at 6pm. Parking was a mess too, there was never enough parking by our building, and we constantly had to park on the opposite side of the resort and walk to our room. Lisateave

If your looking for a lesser expensive option and want a hotel that is in a good location to access parks in the area this can be a fine option so long as you dont have high expectations. The accomodations and service are far below Disnet standards. The public transportation system leaves a lot to be desired as well. The shows they offer are really nice for the kids. The pool and water park are the best. The hamburgers they sell by the pool are amazing. The mango bango drinks at the bar are very tasting. Everyone should take their kids at least once to this hotel.

The stay was during a very busy Easter week. The Hotel staff is very friendly and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. However, the hotel was way overbooked. There had to have been too many people staying in each room becasue the staff couold not keep up with keeping the place clean. Guest services has nothing to do with guest services, they are just trying to send you to a free lunch and try to sell you a time share. Stay off the long line just ask a hotel worker

The sofa bed was really just a bag of rocks on squeaky springs and not comfortable for the one adult. TERRIBLE! There was not shower curtain. The hotel is really overpriced. You pay for EVERY event, each ammenity; a very high cost. We had the character buffet dinner and it was outrages per adult and a charge for one child and the 3 and 10 month old […] were free. 3 adults and 3 children cost us a big amount because there was an added huge gratuity for parties of 6 or more. The hostess asked if this was okay and I said no, because 2 of our party are free adn this is a buffet. She wrote the grat on the bill anyway and gave me a dirty look. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Lisateave

Our stay was this March 2013, and was by far the best Kids resort we've stayed in! There were shows, movies, arcades, Water rides & character breakfast. There are fees for everything but they are within reason in my opinion (arcade $25 for 2 Kids, movies was $12.95 for unlimited movies, shows free, character breakfast $20 for adults/ $14 for Kids, spa […] is $15 for polish, parking was free, and food was $40-$50 for pizza & Wings at resort) we had a good time for the most part!
