The staff were very nice. The cafe and bar were good. The room was comfortable although the 3rd floor water pressure was low. The neighborhood wasn't much to get excited about.

We needed a room for just one night and my kids wanted to stay forever. Clean room, kids loved the swimming pool, awesome view and delicious warm cookies. Would stay there again without question.

We were very pleased with our room and the amenities. We were attending a reunion which was held at the hotel and they did an excellent job with the food and the decor.

We were only staying one night and the Hilton Garden Inn was a great choice! My kids and I had a blast swimming in the pool and exploring the path by the river. The free cookies in the lobby were a nice touch. Everything in our room was clean. Like other reviewers have said the shower was really slippery, and it would have been nice to have breakfast […] provided. Other than those two things-we had a great time and would stay here again. This hotel served a perfect purpose for us. We flew in that night and then were driving to Jackson Hole the next day. It was very clean and brand new. Staff was friendly and even recommended a restaurant near by that was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. AND the view of the river from the balcony was awesome!

Very clean and comfortable, had nice facilities such as exercise room, conference rooms and outdoor seating area. The hotel had great little touches like water with straberries and lemons and coffee. Overall this is a high quality hotel.

I was a little concerned about standing in the tub to take a shower. It was a little slick, and while I did not ever actually slip I felt that there was a better than average possibility that it could happen. Over all though it was a great place to stay and the price seemed appropriate for the accommodations.

I should preface this review with the fact that my boyfriend and I were looking to get away and do some shopping in Idaho falls for an early Valentines, so we were looking for a slightly nicer hotel (which seems to be hard to find in Idaho Falls). We got a top floor suite with a jacuzzi and river views and it wasn't cheap so we expected a nice stay. […] We got in a little early but were told couldn't check in until 3 even though the place was quiet as a tomb. The room was big and nice enough, but not clean. There were old rose petals in the corners and under dressers/bed, and long black hairs on the white bathroom floor, i'm a blonde. There is no heater in the huge stone bathroom and it was VERY cold, even using the tub. The bed was also disappointing, we both commented next morning how stiff we were and the comforter seemed cheap. No continental breakfast either, they have a $11 breakfast buffet thing in the lobby/restaurant that's not very cozy or inviting. This hotel is more for corporate meetings and business stays with everything designed for someone who travels in and out a lot and NOT for someone looking for a romantic indulgent experience. We didn't expect the Ritz, but we still were disappointed. Lisateave

None of my requests could be accommodated, even with a mostly empty parking lot. The bed was incredibly hard, even using the adjustable pressure setting. I felt like I wasted my money spending the night here. The cookies were good, but almost any hotel does cookies now.

I guess maybe we expected more because this was a "Hilton" and because the room was around $20 more a night compared to others in the area. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and we were looking for a good nights sleep so that was important to us. The room was clean and ok, but to me it was like a Hampton Inn with fancier soap. Good modern hotel. Everything was very clean, bright and quite new. Our room was large and well appointed and the self adjusting beds scored a hit with me and a miss with my wife! It feels as though the hotel is catering primarily to business travellers, aiming for efficiency rather than a laid back welcome, perhaps it feels impersonal and absent "homely […] touches" because of this. The restaurant was empty when we came to dinner (8:00ish) but 3 other tables were in use by the time we left. The food was good, the portions generous and the staff helpful and attentive. I wouldn't mind staying here again as I have no complaints (except that the prices were a little on the steep side) but I might want to look around at other offerings more closely. Lisateave

The hotel is very beautiflul, rooms are also very good. I couldn't possibly not recommend this hotel. But nevertheless I wouldn't return. The staff is very rude. Upon our arrival we weren't greeted with a "Hello" but with a "Name!". Not a single time did the guy on the reception give us the slightest smile. I've never seen such a rude hotel employee. The […] room we got was facing the parking lot. It happened that a wedding was taking place that night. You couldn't even access the hotel patio, which made us book the hotel, thinking we could sit out there in the evening by the river. But no. We couldn't even get a glimpse of the view. In our memories we have a parking lot... Also the breakfast is not included and you have to order every hot dish and wait that they bring it to you and this took forever. Again, the staff wasn't very welcoming. Hotel is good, it's a Hilton, but honestly a very bad staff. Would not return to a Hilton again. Lisateave

Our stay at the Hilton, ocontrary to one review I read, was fine, fine, super fine! The room was large and clean and the air conditioner, unlike the Wort in Jackson Hole, actually worked! Beds were comfy and even though there was a wedding and reception, I did not hear a sound. We were on the river side and enjoyed a lovely view with a small balcony. […] The internet service was superb. No going for a password!. No waiting for slow connection and response. Did not have to go find paper! (All that was true of the Wort!!) Great service. Lisateave

Stayed here for one night before driving up to the Grand Tetons and was pleased with everything about the hotel other than having to wait over 30 minutes to get a shuttle ride from the airport. Hotel is nice and rooms are well decorated. AC is controlled by a thermostat which is a plus. Rooms are big and well appointed. I would definetly stay here […] again and is 10x better than the Red Lion down the street. Breakfast is fairly good for free Lisateave

I really enjoyed the breakfast that was included, the hotel was great - only problem was the room was advertised as having a view of the river and we were on the wrong side but other than that it was really nice. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was great, it was also immaculate.

Wish they would make the outside patio non-smoking. It's hard to enjoy a great view with cigar and cigarette smoke floating by. Great acess to the riverwalk path. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Wish the bathrooms had an exhaust fan, but it seemed like the best place to stay in the area.

We had a great time at the Hilton Garden Inn in Idaho Falls. We were able to walk along the river, thanks to a small path off of the patio. The staff was friendly and helpful, and eager to accomodate. We had a deal that included the buffet breakfast - what a treat! Also, a local restaurant, Jaker's, gave us a discount because we were staying at the […] hotel! Even though Idaho Falls doesn't have that much to do, it was a nice relaxing stop on the way to Yellowstone. Take a nice, leisurely walk, enjoy a lovely dinner and get some wonderful sleep in their new adjustable beds! So nice! Lisateave

Extremely well kept hotel, only issue I had was the air conditioner rattled constantly when on so finally turned it to off and sweated through the night. If I hadn't taken everything out of my suitcase I certainly would of complained but I was tried and ready for bed. I would have given it a 5 rating if the air conditioner was fixed. Could not be more pleased with our stay in the Hilton Garden inn in Idaho Falls. Room was clean and comfortable, the wait staff was very professional and made sure anything we had everything we needed. This is a great hotel to stay at when in or traveling through Idaho.

Very nice hotel. New style fixtures and bathroom. For the money, they could offer free continental breakfast, but they would rather soak you for something cooked up in their kitchen. Also, (and I hate this), the drapes do NOT close to shut out the sun light. They are just for looks on the side of the window.

My son said when he grows up he is moving to Idaho. Idaho was just a stop from point a to point b however everywhere we went they were much nicer then they were in Point A and Point B. Good job to you people. Same goes for Hotel staff.

We were there for my nephews wedding. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The hotel was beautiful and everyone on the staff was so very kind. The wedding went off without a hitch and the food was great. We will stay here again the next time we visit Idaho Falls.

This is a good place to stay. It's one of the nicer places in Idaho Falls but seedy is a good description of much of Idaho Falls, so take it with a grain of salt. The rooms are clean. They appear well kept and the beds are new (as of June 2011) and comfortable. They is a tiny bar with mediocre whisky and a small but varied selection of bottled beers. […] (no data on the wine, sorry). They have the standard Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner in a typically small but comfortable dining area off the lobby. There is a nice patio with a bar out back that has a great view of the falls. Parking is ample and the staff was pleasant enough. Honestly it’s just a good 3 star but I bumped it up to account for its condition relative to the other hotels in the area. Lisateave
