The room was cozy, but very handsomely furnished and comfortable. Complimentary computer facilities in the lobby enhanced our 3-night stay. Desk and bell staff were extremely helpful and cordial. This was a good choice.

We had a nice stay. We were upgraded to king suite which was very nice. The last time we stayed at this hotel we had a standard room that was adequate but pretty small. The hotel staff was very helpful at both the front desk and the restaurant. We will stay here again.

Have stayed at this hotel several times because of its proximity to Wash U. We continue to be happy with the quality of our experience. Friendly staff, very nice rooms, and very good fitness center guarantee a return visit.

Only downside was the charge for parking which I was told was typical of area. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Everyone cheery and helpful. Too bad St Louis isn't by the ocean...

This is a pleasant hotel in downtown Clayton near restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean with all the expected amenities. There is a nice-sized hotel pool and work out room, as well. If you're not living in your room this is a perfect, affordable hotel.

The Sheraton was the perfect overflow home during the holidays when the family homestead was bursting to the seams with other family members.

This hotel is definitely in need of a remodel. Bathroom was clean, room felt dirty especially the carpet. Bathroom was very small. One of had to use another mirror for make up while the other shaved.

Nickle and dimed on everything. Dirty baby diapers under our bed-so that's what the stink was! Staff tried to be kind but you could feel they were miserable. Do they not like their boss? Their parent company? Someone is making it very hard for the folks that work here to be nice. Just a miserable experience. Really.

The service was very welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable! That was my first time at the Sheraton, and now it will be the only hotel I book with.

The hotel was clean and well run, and the staff was quite friendly. The room was comfortable as well and I would not hesitate to stay again. While I got a good rate, self-parking is $14/night, internet access was $10/day, and there was no free breakfast.

My stay was fabulous from the second I picked up the phone and Christine was a delightful and extremely helpful friendly person. She remembered me and was helpful in a difficult situation. I traveled with a full family and a lot of needs including some handicaps. I did not have one concern that my experience was going to be a bad one once the second […] I walked in and she greeted my family at the desk with a generous smile and a friendly hello. Our stay at the hotel was ok, the last two days of our stay our bed sheets wasn't changed. The price for parking is a bit high and if you are a non smoking hotel you should let all bookers (Expedia etc.) know so that they don't advise the guess that they can have a smoking room when you don't offer them. I think it's ridiculous that you had to pay for parking. I understand that parking is at a premium in that area, but come on! Raise the price of the hotel room them. It's almost dishonest. We also did not have a clean room on Saturday until 6pm. We were gone from 9am until 6pm. They must have forgotten and just came to our room. Really? Sounds like […] poor management to me. Seriously disappointing. We also were awakened at 8am on Sunday to a false emergency alarm. My elderly mother was scared to death at the nose and was very concerned about her safety. We had to start the trek down the stairs and then were told it was a false alarm. We got ZERO apology. Poor customer service. Lisateave

Great service with an excellent family atmosphere. Front desk was very friendly and inviting and location is idea for visiting the Galleria Mall. Room size was the only downside - no room to move about without running into each other and no room for our 2 year old to play.

Best hotel for the price in greater St. Louis Sure its in Clayton but two blocks from metro in a nice part of town

We were in town for a marriage conference a few blocks away at the Ritz-Carlton. We stayed at the Sheraton, because I was able to find a room for about $30 less per night. For this discounted price, we got a king-size bed in a room on the 11th floor, which is for "Starwood Preferred Guests." I'm not sure how/if those rooms are any different, except […] that they are higher up, and therefore, would have better views. Our room did not have a mini-fridge, but one call to the front desk and about a 10-minute wait solved that--at no extra charge! Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. There is a $9.95 charger per day per item for wi-fi use in your room, but it's free in the lobby. I saw two people with dogs, so I assume they are pet-friendly. The location is ideal in the Clayton City Center, with many excellent dining options in easy walking distance. VERY quiet area at night. Surroundings seemed very safe and clean. Lisateave

I thought the layout of the hotel was a little strange (lobby is on the 3rd floor)but we had the best nights sleep ever. We woke up a couple of hours before our alarm went off but we were total fine with it because we woke up so refreshed. My husband wants me to call the hotel and find out what type of beds they have.

I travel for my job and stay at least 140 nights a year in hotels and this so far has been my worst experience. It costs money to park, money to use the internet, and their is no free breakfast. For the price of the room they should include at least one of those. We got up to our room and there was no toilet paper or kleenexes. There were people hanging […] out in the hallway when we got up to our floor. We actually had to step over some people and their food boxes to get out of our room to go to dinner. The staff was friendly, the hotel is clean, and the location is great though so I guess it's a trade-off. Lisateave
