The good news about this hotel is that they are renovating. We were lucky enough to have a newly remodeled room with new carpeting, paint, bathroom fixtures and mattresses. The furniture in the room was not replaced. The fabric on the chairs was torn and soiled. The service was horrendous. When we walked into the lobby, cigarette smoke filled the room. […] The only person in the lobby was the desk clerk. She too smelled of smoke. When we approached her, she did not smile or say hello. In a very rough tone, she said, "do you have a reservation?" She was unprofessional and unfriendly and acted as if she just wanted to get us in and out so she could go back to smoking. She had a frown on her face the entire time and was very abrasive towards us. The breakfast was very basic - toast, fruit, yogurt and cold cereal. Lisateave

We reach the hotel very late. Only to find water on the bathroom floor and a BIG Roach dead in the water. We ask for the bathroom to be sanitied, Which didn't happen. We were afraid to fall asleep. I got up to go to the br and a roach came out of the corner. That was was all it took for my husband to say we are out of here. And I kill one on our way […] out. The clerk was surprise to see us leave at 4:00 in the morning. We will never go back!!!!! Lisateave

Close to highway other than that this was a horrible hotel. It is under remodeling construction. Dirty atmosphere and works were loud late at night. Would not have chosen this hotel if I did not reserve in advance. Front desk was not friendly or helpful when we checked in.

The low price isn't even attractive with such a low level of quality. The room smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. There were large burn marks everywhere. The carpet was so nasty and dirty we avoided walking around barefoot. There were holes in the walls here and there where towel racks had been moved. The sheets didn't feel fresh. […] Just nasty all over. We didn't even venture to the breakfast room so I can't comment on the food. Lisateave

My stay was during the renovation of the motel. Which you failed to mention when I booked the room. I would have never stayed there had I known it was in such a shamble. My wife was very unhappy. I was trying to make the trip as pleasant as possible for her. She had just been discharged from the hospital after having cancer surgery. She felt dirty and […] was afraid of germs. Lisateave

This hotel was under renovation and the lobby and hallways and rooms were a mess. I would not recommend staying here, even with the slight improvements to the room we were in, it was still very damp and dark and not updated.

I definitely got what I paid for! We we were looking for a cheap hotel to spend one night and we got it! The rate was cheap, but so was the room. We asked for a non smoking but walked into a room that smelled like smoke. There weren't any towels so we had to go to the front and get them. The receptionist was rude and short with us when we called to […] get the Internet password. We didnt even bother with the breakfast they provided. But, it was cheap. If we wanted a better room/ service, we should have gone somewhere a bit more expensive. Lisateave

Mastic on bath flooring tile,bar missing in shower, clean bed spread but old ciggarette burn holes visible and to the touch. Thermostate dial on heater stuck on high hot. Turn on shortly and turn off and crawl under the covers for the rest of the evening and re-heat in the morning. Amenities were standard low end coffee and sweet rolls and toast and […] cereal in the morning, juice etc. Hotel location easy to get to near expressway and back side of other bldgs . Hotel units are under total renovation and hammering went on until 8:00pm too many complaints from other guests about various item not working and room conditions. The rooms were out of date, but the clerk told us they would be remodeling soon. Every person on staff was very helpful and friendly. As far as budget hotels go this will be one I'll visit again.

The hotel room was not very clean at all. The shower was dirty and the room had a funny smell even though it was a nonsmoking room.

Lobby torn up so no continental breakfast. Room missing hair dryer. Not very clean. Floor grimy. Coffee pot looked like it never gets wiped down. Heat fan was loud and had to b either on or off all the time (no thermostat). Would not stay again.

I reserved a non-smoking room, but the room was stinking with cigarette smell. The paint in the room and bathroom was peeling off. The corners were full of dirt. The bed sheets were torn and very very old. Every year we attend Head of the Hooch Regatta at Chattanooga TN, next year we are not going to stay at this Super 8 Hotel.

This hotel was by far the worst my family and I have attempted to stay in. I say attempted because the room was so filthy, that we found another hotel to stay in that night. There were cigarette burns in the covers, hair in the drain in shower, and the floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for a week!

Would have like the refrigerator to been defrosted. Would have like a bigger trash can for when food was ordered in. The trash didn't fit in the can. Would have liked to use the soap bar up instead of it being replenished daily . Seemed like an unnecessary waste. There were plenty travel brochures in the lobby, Personnel were friendly and helpful. our room was adjacent to an alley!!! also, there were at least 4 semi rigs parked next to our room, and about 2 am, they were started up and idled for several minutes then roared off, leaving us laying in bed awake for quite awhile. NOT GOOD!!!!!

We booked two rooms. One had an awful smell. Carpets needed cleaning. The other room had chipped paint on the bathroom sink, no lid to the toilet, no place to put clothes while showering. Beds were comfortable but there was a lot of street noise.

The staff wasn't too friendly. The phone kept ringing and waking me and my daughter up. I wasn't happy at all.

Requested a non-smoking room, there are no non-smoking rooms. Traveled with 4 guests the room never had enough towels. When requesting more the staff would give you an attitude, then on a night that the hotel is booked solid do even expect to get extra towels. Pool opened when they felt like it not on a scheduled time. Staff was not friendly at all. […] The fantastic breakfast included toast, danish, cereal, coffee or juice and only from 7AM to 9AM. What a joke for breakfast. The bedding was awful, if you didn't have back problem you did after staying. Lisateave

The price and location was great, The room I had was not. I really do not think the bed had been changed, Out of 4 pillows only one was clean enough for me to cover with a towel and lay on. The bath tub was clean as well as the bathroom it self. After showering, water backed up into the bath sink and was most disgusting. This motel is convenient and cheap so it fit our limited budget. It was clean but we could not get enough towels. We had 4 in our room but they would not give us more then 3 towels at a time. I was glad we had extra's with us. The pool was good sized and clean. Lots of fast food places within walking distance and only minutes from all site seeing.
