After a long driving, my rate could be a lot better if the staff at least, could do a little effort to put me in a nonsmoking room, as i asked in my reservation, they simply told me that there were no other available room an could not do anything about it, everything in the room smells like an ash tray, the only positive aspect was that I slept in that […] room from 2 AM to 5am and left to the airport keeping that obnoxius smell in my nose during the rest of the day. Hint: if you are going to make a late check in, better make sure that they have the availability of what you ask for, if not look for another hotel. Lisateave

It is an airport hotel, so one should not expect much. The room was not clean enough but the bed was huge and comfy with a huge flat screen TV. You could here every step from the hallway. Breakfast was not included in the price. Overall, I would expect more from Hloiday Inn.

Location of the Hotel in this case for me was excellent, because I held some bussiness meetings very near from my accomodiation. Also in order to do some shopping, two of the important shopping centers are very near (International and Dolphin Malls). They were out of nonsmoking double bed rooms and only had smoking rooms, which smell terrible. The manager upgraded us to a suite with a pull out couch and was very accommodating of our needs. The restaurant served very delicious food. The outdoor pool was too cold to swim in though.

My husband golfed at the doral and we were just minutes away. It's also very close to tons of restaurants and and the beach and art deco district are only twenty or so minutes away. We would stay here again.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 across the board was that I specifically asked if the rooms had a refrigerator. I was told they'd have both a refrigerator and micro-wave. There was none. The hotel was selected as an Expedia "gamble" and it work well for us. We were just there for the one night (arrived at about 8:30pm and left by 9:00am the next day). Room was clean and comfortable. The room that we stayed in was a smoking room. The smell was terrible. Hotel staff gave us some spray which helped somewhat but still was unpleasent. No breakfast provided. Location on the internet needs to be more accurate. We wanted the hotel closest to Doral and found out there is another Holiday Inn closer. Overall hotel was ok

Hotel service is terrible. I booked a nonsmoking room and they tried to put me in a smoking room. They changed the room but charged me more money per night. One elevator didn't work. The bed in this hotel room was SO bad. It was completely bowed towards the center. I would not book this hotel again. Keep in mind, if booking this hotel because of the "free hotel shuttle", that the shuttle has limited hours. Worst bed I have tried to sleep in in years. Hotel elevator was ancient. I waited 20 minutes at the airport only to have the airport shuttle roll past in the fast lane. When I yelled, he stopped, saw me then floored it. I really enjoyed my stay here, for th price it was great. The Hotel staff was polite and friendly, good restuarant on site and next door with good drink special's. I love meeting Chef Jeff, who was very energectic, and the bartender was very nice. The pick-up service from the airport came after1 hour of waiting; the room service for my breakfast came after 45 mins, because they said that they're short staff that day because of a banquet; the hotel lobby smell!!!! wow!!!!

A standard Holiday Inn. Rooms clean and in good condition. However, pick-up of guests at the airport by their shuttle is unreliable. I used this hotel twice for overnight stays in Miami between flights. The first time, I discovered that the shuttle stopped running at 10pm, even though they claimed it ran until 11pm. This hotel is OK for convenience to the airport, but the front desk help needs to get off the phone on personal calls. Checking in and checking out--and several times in-between the same front desk person was on the phone--and it didn't seem with a customer. There are plenty of hotels in this area--and I will try another one next time.

Airport shuttle could be more timely. Trips to the airport are made on the hour so wait for pickup could be over an hour depending upon your time of arrival/and or traffic conditions. After being rebuffed a couple of times for flagging the wrong Holiday Inn shuttle, I called the hotel for the distinguishing color or sign of the Doral Inn shuttle. The […] woman who answered had a hard time pronouncing " Bainbridge" which was supposed to be the sign on the bus. Because I could not understand her, I asked her a couple times to repeat what she was trying to say, after which in her exasperation, she just hanged up on me. Was also made to wait for a couple of hours at the local mall for pick up back to the hotel. This was pretty irritating for us but because we were in a hurry to get to the airport I never contacted anyone about fixing it.
