My husband I stayed at the hotel over the Christmas holiday and enjoyed it very much. It is a very beautiful old hotel, and while not right near the beach, we found all of the Miami attractions easy to get to, yet way out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Miami. Like any […] high-end hotel, there are a lot of fees tacked on, valet, housekeeping, bellman etc. Upon checking in they mention that these are additional fees, but it seems you still end up tipping everyone on top of that. The Biltmore was so accommodating to our needs. We stayed there during our wedding weekend. They made sure we had a great stay. I would recommend anyone to stay with them. The staff offers great customer service, and that is very rare in Miami. I loved and enjoyed my time at the Biltmore.

The Biltmore is a wonderful experience. The staff was courteous, pleasant and helpful. The Junior suite was spectacular. The Cuisine in all of their restaurants was excellent, The Spa was fabulous. Loved every minute of my stay.

We were supposed to get a suite but they told us that we could only have one rollaway bed - problematic for my two kids. The offering on computer and description of the room was misleading. They changed to a more accomodating room but unfortunately it was the same location as a group of wedding guests at the hotel. We did not sleep very well because […] in addition to the loud music outside until 2AM, the guests returned to their rooms, and we're loud and rude - banging on people's doors in a the process waking all the children. We were disappointed in that no one told us when making the reservation that the swimming pool - one of the main attractions of the Biltmore - was being revamped, so we could not use it.

Expedia failed to advise me that the pool and all of the adjacent terraces would be closed .They had advised there would be some outside work and that it would not interfere with my holiday.The noise of the builders at breakfast was very intrusive and the lack of a pool and terraces to sit out at ruined my stay. The Hotel was under renovation during our stay and the pool was not available. However, the Hotel did provide complimentary breakfast to remedy it a little bit. There was some construction noise but bearable. Cant wait to go back to check out the reno'ed Biltmore, enjoy the pool and try the Sunday brunch again.

The hotel and staff were great, however the hotel pool was closed and under extensive renovation. The hotel provided passes and transportation to a nearby city pool which was very nice but we should have been advised that the pool was closed prior to our visit.

In a nutshell, The Biltmore Hotel was one of the best hotel experiences we have had, and if you are looking for a relaxing hotel with lots to do then this is it. The hotel is located in a residential neighbourhood, and in nearby Coral Gables there is plenty of shopping and lots of great restaurants. It is about a 30 minute drive from South Beach and […] about 15 minutes from the Bayside Market (boat tours etc). The Biltmore is the polar opposite of the madness that you will find on South Beach. This is a hotel that focuses on relaxation and comfort, set in a beautiful estate, in a quiet residential area with a golf course, tennis courts, and a one-of-a-kind swimming pool. These alone do not make a great hotel. What makes The Biltmore a great hotel are its people - they simply cannot do enough for you. The staff are very relaxed, they don't try too hard, they just do a good job and are always willing to go the extra mile. When you add this to the hotel property itself it makes for a winning formula. We have stayed in some beautiful 5 star hotels all over the world and our experience at The Biltmore was the best to date. We would recommend this for families, couples, and romantic holidays. If you want to party until 4 am in the morning then you should look at hotels in South Beach as this is probably not the hotel for you. Lisateave

Upon check-in the staff was very friendly courteous. The room was clean , but unfortunately it was right across from the icemaker which we heard being used throughout the night. The servers and waiters were efficient and helpful. The bartender at the poolbar couldn't be bothered with questions as he kept referring us to the waiter. For Sunday brunch […] there was a line and I wasn't sure if that was the line and when my wife asked Jenny the hostess there was no response just a point as she was another one that couldn't be bothered. we searched for ghosts but didn't find any. but what we did find is a national icon, at very fair rates, and on a moment's notice when we visted the Venetian pool. both are a must-do. don't miss downtown Coral Gables, which offers fabulous drinks and dining, and the shops on the Mile. we can't wait to return!

If you don't want/need to stay at the beach, this is the go-to place. Historic hotel, turned back in time. Rooms can vary in size/location but are all updated with ceramic tile. Best hotel pool in the US. Staff treats you like royalty.

As a single business woman from highly affluent company I went to get R&R one ang half hours from north of Miami... From Texas and travel the world... I thought I was going to relax... Noting but... No golf. No poolside service... No phone working in room . No front dear plan tour guide who would give me attention... I needed relax and white glove service. […] It was the opposite. When I checked in the hotel, the lady at the reception desk was impatient and rude. The hotel is a bit old, and there is no hot water and tea bags provided in my room. Architecturally the hotel is beautiful even in a monsoon! While we didn't get to enjoy the pool, we dined poolside under cover - waiter was wonderful and brought towels for our shoulders to protect from stray wind and water. Lobby was busy with a wedding reception, and very elegant. Loved the many different levels with different places to escape to […] eat and drink - so while we were not part of the wedding, we still had venues open to us. Bedding was absolutely heavenly!! We were able to self park which was useful as our event was local to coral gables and avoided the longer valet waits. Took advantage of the spa on a rainy sunday - massage wtih the chardonnay oil was blissful and relaxing. Everything was ultra clean - room had high ceilings, bathroom had extra shelving to store all our toiletries, and the water pressure was out of this world! Room maintenance included turndown at night. LOVED everything. Our room overlooked the hotel entrance - and this is the only inconvenience we experienced - an early morning car alarm sounding - probably from valet parking or something. Lisateave

Room was small and TV in the room was also small hard to see from the bed. Also this Hotel hosts big receptions so ask for your room away from the banquet halls. The music was blasting during one of the nights we stayed and we had a hard time going to sleep.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Miami. The service is superb and the food is excellent! I live 25 minutes away, so I often come for the excellent food alone. The Sunday brunches offer unparalleled grandeur: there are more exquisite food items than you could ever imagine. The outdoor patio, where many of the brunch guests can be seated, and lobby […] represent old-world beauty at its very best. The elegant hotel is in a very quiet and wealthy neighborhood, so there is no noise from traffic and the views are serene. Because of the quiet atmosphere, my wife and I slept soundly (the A/C was also quiet and efficient). Room service arrived with breakfast exactly at the time we had requested. Cleanliness is fastidious. Also, I love the huge parking lot--which is free! If you are type-A like I am, you don't want to wait for someone to get your car. I imagine that valet parking is probably as efficient and client-centered as is every other service in the hotel. I enjoy looking at the historic photographs on the wall in the hallways--showing the hotel and its wealthy clients from the 1920s and 1930s. The hotel facade is an architectural masterpiece. The management maintains the grounds, the exceptionally large pool, and the interior in good condition. The hotel is one of the highlights of Miami! Lisateave
