Holiday Villa Beach Resort & Spa Langkawi - Langkawi

I think it's good! But someone would clean the beach? Or it's a public beach outside the hotel? (I'm not sure), generally good hotel, but not good enough beach...

The Holliday Villa Beach resort is the best value for money. Has every facility you require.

This hotel has a good location in Pantai Tengah. It is in a walking distance to alot of restaurants, pubs and shops. Overall we had a good stay at this hotel, nice staff, great pool and a private beach. The hotel is a bit old and the first room we got had a strong smell of mildew. We got a new room straight away and this room was ok. Comfortable beds, […] silent at night and a cosy balcony which was a real plus. Did feel that the hotel should provide free coffee and tea for the price you pay for it though. Had a good stay at this hotel and would recommend it. Lisateave

I would say that the deluxe room is more of a basic room but very comfortable. The position of the hotel is perfect. There is a wonderful beach on the property and a couple of fantastic bars to have a drink and watch the sun set just a short walk up the beach. Prices at the hotel are not expensive however there are a number of restaurants and cafes […] just out front that are much cheaper. Great place to stay for the price Lisateave

The hotel has excellent gardens, pool and beach, it is located near good resturants etc. Breakfast is good, but I do not recommend the resturant for ny other mels especially if you are a vegetarian. The reception service could be better. Although the room are a bit dated, they re clean and spacious and comfortable with a balcony and good views.

I have just returned from a 10 day holiday in Langkawi with my girlfriend. I stayed firstly in Penang and then spend 3 nights in Langkawi. I was a little disappointed with the hotel overall as booked a double room and expected more for the money I paid. When we arrived, we checked in to find that the room was quite small and instead of a double bed […] it just had 2 single beds pushed together. I went staright back to reception and complained, showing my booking which clearly said 1 x double bed. After explaining that I was unhappy, was eventually upgraded to a bigger room with king-size bed at no extra charge. Worth bearing in mind when booking as double room does not really mean double room according to staff but rather twin room. Compared to my stay in Penang the actual rooms seem quite tired and fairly basic for the money. However the actual location is great and cannot fault that. The hotel is literally within 5 minutes walk of a lovely private sandy beach and all towels are provided for the beach free of charge as are the sun loungers which is great. The swimming pool is huge and very impressive. The reatuarnt is also very good and the Malaysian food there is excellent. I want to say a special thank you to the staff at the restaurant as they could not have done more and so friendly. We ate there 2 of the 3 nights and also during the day but there are some nice restaurants very close by within 5 minutes walk at the front of the hotel as well as a local convenience store. My main complaint apart from room was checking in and checking out which was all very chaotic and not that well organised for a big hotel. Took nearly 20 minutes to check out! The location though is superb and they were very helpful with organising a last minute tour to mangrove area for eagle feeding, bat cave and fish farm. I totally recommend that tour as very good value for money. That was one of the highlights of my whole Malaysian trip. If you are looking for a great location then this is the Lisateave

This resort is placed in the most lively region of Langkawi with many good restaurants at walking distance. While the overall opinion about it is ok, this hotel needs to be renewed...it has an "80s" (or even 70s) feeling which is not appealing at all. Our room was clean and comfortable, but old. Bad experiences with the ladies at the reception...some […] of them need urgently to be instructed about how to deal and be kind with customers. Seriously. The breakfast is complete and satisfying. The pool and the beach are very nice...but avoid to go there during the rainy season! Lisateave

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The only reason I gave service a 4 instead of a 5 was because we spent a lot of time out and about and didn't really require much service. But the hotel was beautiful, huge room, wonderful pool with swim up bar for cocktails or food, and the beach just metres away. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the hotel was queit near to the airport,only 10 min drive.Was well received by the CS and the rooms were very neat and tidy, and well maintained, we were given the room facing the sea side and had a beautiful view, the brak fast was quit good even for the india vegetariian like us, since they were serving naan […] with dal curry for the break fast along with many delicious fruits, and the hotel also has many india restaurants nearby,the other thing is connection to the various places, just call a taxi and the drivers there were quite good, we got a nice driver, we booked him for our 2 days stay just for around 160 ringgit.The beaches were also very clean and the sunset was very lovable and watchable. So over all the hotel is a very gud place to stay for your vacation and we are planning to come to this hotel again for sure. Lisateave

性價比高的酒店，酒店設有私人沙灘，雖然不大，但日落很美，值得推薦

酒店環境舒適！

Hotellet har säkert sätt bättre dagar men låg helt ok. Skulle behöva fixas till lite annars fanns det mest man kan önska. Slitet. Men det var ett medvetet val, dom finare hotellen som låg längre upp på stranden var riktiga 5 ***** hotel men kostade 3 - 4 gånger så mycket för samma period.

Room was large and clean. Location was nice. Very close to restaurants. Not much amenity though considering the price, it's acceptable.

Hotellet ligger helt perfekt om man vill ha en lugn semester, med bad i havet eller poolområdet. Hotellet ligger ca 100 meter från stranden med poolområdet mellan. Rummen är mycket bra i förhållande till pris, vi hade balkong med utsikt över havet och poolområdet. I området ligger några restauranger annars är det inte långt till ett större urval om […] man inte vill äte på hotellet som har helt ok mat. Samt en väldigt kort resa från flygplatsen. Lisateave

Vi bodde på Holiday Villa i en vecka med vår lilla dotter. Hotellet såg bra ut på bilderna men det är väldigt slitet och skabbigt. Det var kanske fint för 20 år sen. Vi hade myror på rummet, ACn funkade inte, låset på ballkongen var sönder, hårtorken funkade ej, badkaret var sönder, det var blod på våra kuddar och kiss på madrassen. När vi bad receptionen […] om hjälp att boka restaurang så skulle de ha betalt för det, maten var sådär, städerskan var inte mkt att hurra för, internet var skitdyrt men funkade inte och när jag talade om det i receptionen och ville ha mina pengar tillbaka så fick jag stå och argumentera i 10 min innan jag fick det osv osv osv. Helt allvarligt, detta skulle vara ett 3,5 stjärningt hotell men det är knappt 2. Vem är det som sätter stjärnorna egentligen? Jag rekomenderar verkligen inte någon att bo här!!! Jag är såå missnöjd! Ett stort hotell av äldre snitt som är helt okej men inte särskilt modernt eller fräscht. Finns dock stor fin pool och ligger alldeles vid en stor sandstrand med vit fin sand och bra botten, det gäller bara att vara ute i tid med handduken och boka upp solstol om man inte vill bli utan. För solbad vid pool eller strand rekommenderas hotellet.

飯店服務態度時好時壞，要看服務員，有些甚至會很沒耐性得回覆我們得問題。 客房蠻乾淨得，我們訂雙人房頗大的，且都有自己得小陽台可以看窗外風景，房間有附吹風機和小冰箱。 外面有自己的私人海灘和露天游泳池，可是當我往邊邊走卻發現飯店廢水(其中還有排泄物，所以很臭)竟然排入海中，且就在私人海邊旁，水量就像河川般洶湧，之後就不敢下水了。 飯店附近有很多小餐館，都很好吃。也有小商店(不只一家)裡面東西很便宜，應有盡有，每間店價差一RM左右，甚至可以租車，很方便。 開車五分鐘就可以到海底世界和免稅店，離機場也很近，但要若要到港口就要快一小時的時間。

夫婦で三泊しました。非常に大きいホテルでプールやビーチもありなかなか良い感じ。朝食はバラエティに富んでおりなかなか美味しかったので◎。 欠点として ●部屋にお湯を沸かすポットがないこと。 ●建物が古くて立て付けが悪い扉があったこと。 ●フロント（女性）の接客対応が丁寧さが無くむかっとしたことがあったこと。おれは客だぞ！と言いたかった。 まあ価格から考えればこんなものかな。ただ日本人の観光客は一人も見ませんでした。マレーシア人の友人に聞くと彼らにとってはかなり高級なイメージとのこと。

Vi upplevde Holiday Villa som ett trevligt hotell med bra service i slutet av Tengahstranden. För den som vill bada är poolen är stor och fin och stranden precis vid hotellet är välskött och lugn. Liksom andra har skrivit innan mig kunde jag, under vår vistelse där i början av mars 2011, konstatera att maten på hotellet är relativt dyr. Dock fanns ett […] stort antal andra restauranger precis i närheten. Man fick helt enkelt betala för bekvämligheten om man ville äta på hotellet. Innan jag åkte läste jag också att vissa tyckte att det var långt till Cenangstranden men vi tog oss mest dit för att äta middag eller shoppa på kvällarna och då var det skönt med promenaden på drygt en kilometer. Annars finns alltid taxibilar vid hotellet och priset för resan är inte mycket att bråka över. Lisateave
